Apparently it isn't possible for me to continue working there until September. It's some kind of legal problem. But I can work there at least until the end of May, maybe add 2 more months after that. I'd be working as a simulation pilot. Not as amazing as it sounds :p ATC trainees would train in simulations and I'd input all the information and 'orders' they give to aircraft. It's a bit of a setback that I have to find a job later on, but I don't mind. Not that I am indifferent, but somehow I think there are more important things in life. Of course, I could've used the money. Still, I am so happy that I went through with what I had decided on.

In the last two days I've played for 11 hours. I'm officially addicted.

The shitty boss is forgotten, now that I'm coming closer to the end (I think).

Won't there always be extra months/dungeons? Isn't that the 'Golden' extra? Not sure.. Since all my saves (cloud and on Vita) are fucked up again..I had to start...again. Rushed through the story, skipping all the dialogues, not even thinking about planning my days. Now I'm back where I was before. Took me 8 hours

My deepest condolences. Nah, that's amazing

There's a difference between "hard" and "cheap". If I'd known that this bossfight was that unfair I would have chosen an easier difficulty.

Yep. Great. Gonna be fun. The game could've been so good, but it's these things that take away some of the enjoyment. It's not that I hate the game now. The story is compelling, the gameplay is sweet (apart from the mentioned bullshit) and the art style...my god, the beautiful art style. But difficulty should be achieved by other means than just running out of ammo making you a useless human being.

No idea, never played a MH game Gonna play some Soul Sacrifice later this evening I hope to beat Cerberus for the second time.
-
More than enough Exactly. Whenever you activate an offering you have a set amount of time to use it (normally between 20-30 seconds). That's enough time to beat the shit out of a boss while perfectly avoiding attacks. But you have to time the activation just right. We should do some quests together sometime.
-
To be honest, beating Harpy shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes and even after 15 minutes I always have a lot of usages left. Your allies probably just suck. Normally you shouldn't have to go all out with every attack offering. Save them up for perfect opportunities. Or try to find a better team Yeah, being a ghost gets boring, but you should only sacrifice/be sacrificed when the enemy is at low health (i.e. glowing orange/red when using the...what's it called...'eye of the mind'? Can't remember -.- ), then it's over more quickly. Saving dead monsters, I think. Not sure though, will test that later today.

1. Try not to waste offerings. E.g. when fighting Harpy, whenever she's flying, don't activate a melee offering. It sounds obvious but I've seen sooooo many people doing exactly that, and you also wanted someone to explain it to you like you're a five-year-old :p 2. Try to upgrade offerings. Yes, a bit of farming is involved and in the Demo you can only upgrade up to third tier but it's already worth it. It increases the amount of usages you have for an offering. 3. I've found out that healing offerings suck (at least in the demo, maybe/hopefully this is different in the full version). So take another offensive offering instead. If you still 'run out of ammo' in an online battle, then try to act as a diversion. Make the boss attack you, allowing others to bash it into oblivion. And if everything fails: Die and make sure you get sacrificed ("Sacrifice me"). As a ghost you have the ability to weaken an enemy's defense or increase an ally's attack. It's actually not as bad as it sounds Well, there's also the obvious ultra-mega-giga attack when being sacrificed.

Sounds great... Currently not in possession of my PS3, but I'll give it another try when I'm back home. I can already hear me screaming and cursing.

What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!

Just been at work to tell them that I'd like to quit. Everybody there accepted that, wished me the best of luck and my coaches who worked with me for the past couple of months have the deepest respect for me and my decision. I also got offered to continue working there (of course in a different department) until I go to university. That would mean I'll definitely have a job until October. : peace: What amazes me the most, though, is that my colleagues - who I've known for only 5 months - are more understanding than people who I'd call 'friends' and who I've known for many years. Well, life goes on. I finally made the decision and went through with it. For the first time in my life I've done something for me, only for me. It feels good, liberating.

The sound effects and music are spectacular. And everything looks so good. There has been some criticism about character models but since I'm not into the comics I don't mind.

Story mode is pretty interesting I'm not very far into it, but it's fun.

... Personally I have never been happy with a Razer mouse. Had three, and they all broke within 2 months (optical laser didn't work) and I never really liked their ergonomics. If you're okay with a different brand, I can recommend this: Logitech MX518 Oldie, but goldie.

The Evil Within - Mikami (360, PS3, PC and Next gen)
drahkon replied to bryanee's topic in Other Consoles
Less action, more horror and survival. Hope that's how the game will turn out to be. Doesn't do anything for me, so far. Live action trailers suck anyway (although this is actually not bad) :p -
Wait, so a PSVita version didn't already exist? No cross-buy then...
-
Currently downloading the demo. Depending on whether I like it or not, I might buy the game later today. Edit: Enjoyed it. Will probably buy it later Anyone fancy some online action tonight, if there is anyone here who owns the game? PS3 of course. You'll get easy wins :p

After a long hiatus from the game, I've come back. And I remember what I was doing last: Starting to grind I want to defeat an optional boss...don't know its name. Some kind of clown/king fucker who can wipe out my team in one blow.
-
I could, but I never do that. I always start games on the hardest possible difficulty available.
