  1. And it's not even funny. It's borderline provocation. I'm gonna quote H-o-T: Instead of being passive aggressive, @Ronnie, you could've just given your thoughts on the fact that amiibo is confirmed for the game, or -you know - just not post anything at all. So, what exactly does this - i.e. amiibo support - mean for Splatoon? Playable characters/costumes? Any confirmations by Nintendo, or just this 'leak'?
  2. I'd much rather see them go multiplatform. Would be the greatest thing for gamers.
  3. Bought the Definitive Edition just now. Already played the PS3 version 2 years ago, but can't wait to give it another go as I really enjoyed it. Will post some impressions later.
  4. Oh man, cannot wait. I really, REALLY hope the game gets a PSN release today. Not so sure, though as the store usually gets updated Wednesdays. But DmC - which was released today - is available on the store, so there's hope. Edit: Also: 3 tracks from the game: Audio Audio Audio Edit: Downloaded and played for a while. It's awesome. Dat music...
  5. I may be too dumb for this game Just can't wrap my head around the mechanics. I know how they work - theoretically, but somehow I cannot put them into practice. Which is weird, because I never had that problem in any other game How do you make tricks when you jump after a grind? I can only seem to 'ollie-off' a rail...sometimes I get the occasional kickflip to work with no idea how I managed to do that. Help?
  6. Coherence This movie's theme (quantum mechanics and its many-worlds-interpretation; quantum decoherence) is right up my alley. It delivered perfectly. Tone, atmosphere, acting...brilliant. It's the most terrifying non-horror-movie I've ever seen and instantly became one of my favourite movies of all time. Locke Just remembered I watched this earlier this year. It's a movie that you read like a book. Give it a try. My 2015 list Nightcrawler The Theory of Everything Birdman The Imitation Game Whiplash The Great Gatsby Sin City - A Dame To Kill For Fight Club Drive Primer Decoherence - Edit: Heh, that typo is quite something after watching the movie. It is actually called Coherence. Man, it fucked my brain. Locke
  7. Considered that, as well, but I'm a sucker for trophies. That's my decision sorted.
  8. Will get the PS4 version. Shame to miss the level editor, but the game will be available for 2,50€ on Steam during the Christmas Sale at the latest, so a double-dip is very likely at that point : peace: Is the game surely set for a European release tomorrow? Isn't the PSN store updated every Wednesday?
  9. Muse released a tiny snippet of a song which is apparently called Psycho and will be the first single from their next album Drones. It includes a riff they played live for years. Psycho Looks like they are getting back to their roots, maybe darker than Showbiz and Hullabaloo Disc 1. Cannot freaking wait.
  10. Primer I need to watch this again. I think I understood it, but at the same time I'm sure I didn't. It's great that the director/producer/writer/actor Shane Carruth didn't dumb down the dialogue just to make it easier to grasp. The complexity amplifies the ethical conundrum the protagonists find themselves in. My 2015 list Nightcrawler The Theory of Everything Birdman The Imitation Game Whiplash The Great Gatsby Sin City - A Dame To Kill For Fight Club Drive Primer
  11. Pre-orders: Not bought, yet, but will buy on release day: : peace:
  12. Rayman Legends. DO EET!
  13. Nightcrawler Incredibly atmospheric movie carried by Jake Gyllenhaal. Can't believe he didn't get nominated for an Oscar. His performance is astounding. The Theory of Everything Have to use that word: Brilliant. Birdman Oh man, this movie A joy to watch. Everything was top-notch. Acting, camera, setting. Deserved to win at the Academy Awards. The Imitation Game Great movie. Cumberbatch showed his unlimited potential. Whiplash No words. I seriously have no words for this movie. It gripped me from start to finish. And that finish...amazing. The Great Gatsby Caught me by surprise. DiCaprio is - in my opinion - one of the greatest actors. The movie is also very nicely done. Audio-visually a masterpiece. Sin City - A Dame To Kill For It's Sin City. What more can you ask for? :awesome: Fight Club Do I really need to say anything about it? Watched it for the 6th time. Drive One of my all-time favourites. Romantic, violent, stylish. My 2015 list Nightcrawler The Theory of Everything Birdman The Imitation Game Whiplash The Great Gatsby Sin City - A Dame To Kill For Fight Club Drive
  14. Here we go again :p Anyway, game still doesn't look appealing to me at all. Hope we'll get a demo.
  15. Pre-ordered the collectors edition : peace: Don't want to wait
  16. Took them long enough
  17. 299€. No thank you, Sir.
  18. I can't even...229€ for an Xbox One + Sunset Overdrive? Tempting. Soo freaking tempting. Pretty sure it will be 279€, though. Would buy at 229...
  19. Man, on higher difficulties (i.e. have only tried "Challenging" so far) it gets fucking INTENSE. Keeping your calm is key. However, that's not easy to when shitloads of bugs jump at you from every angle. Even when you think you have time to rest the game says: "Lol, noob! Fuck you! More enemies!" It's amazing.
  20. Turrets are awesome indeed Mainly used at the extraction point so far, but it's great so see how people place them perfectly to cover as much area as possible. Even without party chat or voice communication it's still amazing in coop. Definitely need to get my headset back which a mate borrowed. Edit: Reached Rank 7 : peace: Some hilarious deaths occurred Falling off cliffs, getting smacked by hellpods, the freaking shuttle landing on my head, more turret-team-kills, not realizing that the bug-nest-destroying-bomb is active This game has great potential for DLC or even a sequel. Imagine loot, weapons with stats (similar to Diablo), more mission variety, huge bosses...well, inspiration from Diablo is basically where it's at.
  21. Friendly fire, you say? I laughed way too hard at that turret double-kill
  22. Figured this could warrant its own thread. Eurogamer Review I've only played the training mission, one singleplayer mission and one multiplayer session, but I can already say: It's so much fun It's got offline and online co-op.
  23. Pretty sure she will get better. And I'm also quite confident that I can help her with that, even if it is just getting her out of a bad mood. She just messaged me that she called her mom to talk about it. It seems she's affected by this even more than I thought We started as friends-with-benefits and she just told me she needs certain aspects that differentiate this "sex-only-relationship" (which was actually quite romantic and weird if you consider the typical 'let's have sex-meetups') and a real relationship. Her ex always made her feel like everything's her fault, that she had 'utopian' demands and that never went away. She just doesn't know what exactly she wants or whether what she wants is too much or not. As a result she developed the proverbial hard shell and her soft core never really showed - until yesterday and just now. She basically needs to think about what she wants from me and this relationship, and that takes time. I will of course give her as much time as she needs, and I told her I would help her anytime she wants/needs my help. I have some issues of my own and I need to work on them, as well. Given that in my previous experiences with women and relationships it proved to be difficult to talk to my former SOs about serious stuff, it's a relief to see that my girlfriend is grown up enough to talk about things like that. It will not be easy, but if it works out in the end it will be even better.
  24. No need to explain yourself. I got your point and simply made a joke :p
