Indeed. Just completed it and nabbed the Platinum It's actually quite funny...I must admid I laughed several times I will eventually get the Platinum for Virginia but I can only play so much of games like this. That's why I'm holding off on playing Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, too I think I'll give it a go then Cheers. : peace:

Finished Dishonored - Definitive Edition (PS4). The game holds up really well. It's a masterpiece in every way. Not sure whether I'll go for the Platinum right away. With the little time I'll have to play in the next two weeks I doubt I'll be able to get it in time for FFXV. @Hero\-of\-Time any recommendations for a game that can be completed in 5-10 hours (maybe even including a Platinum). How long did it take you to get the Platinum in The Deadly Towers of Monsters? I already bought My Name is Mayo, so that will be something to blast through tomorrow

Didn't even know that. I know absolutely nothing about the story...Just found out that there are 5 anime shorts, too. Guess I know what I'll be doing next weekend Does anybody else have a "certain" approach to JRPGs? I always tend to spend an insane amount of time in the first few areas with battles to level up a lot. Hopefully the levelling and skill system let me take advantage of my weird habit And often times, when there are optional areas with high-level enemies meant for later I try to figure out whether you can beat them early in the game.

And the hype is real. It comes out on my birthday...but my girlfriend has planned something special which most likely involves us being away for 4 days (not sure what exactly this surprise is going to be but she told me I needed to take days off from university and work, so...).

Pre-ordered for 62€. Ordered for 10€. If I bought the Deluxe Edition I would've paid 90€ for those two (including 4 ingame items and the steelbook case). I can do without the items and steelbook and pay 17€ less : peace:

How many hours a day do you play then? I basically have the same amount of free time (8-10 per day of work and university combined). It's just that the past few weeks/months my free time has been taken up by everything besides video gaming Most of the days I can only fit in 1-2 hours of gaming I blame my girlfriend and friends...damn this real life... My goal was to get the Platinum by the end of November but I'll be happy to just finish my first playthrough by then... I'll have to think about what games I will play during the Christmas Holidays... There will be Final Fantasy XV of course. This will be the game I'll play. CoD Infinite Warfare Multiplayer is an obvious choice for quick matches. But I need one or two "smaller" games. Will check my PS4 library and decide in the coming weeks.

Yep, it took quite some time for it to be sold, though. But it's almost Christmas so... I also put in a Pro Controller and a Wii Remote + Nunchuck for free, basically. Could've raised the price a bit but I was feeling generous I think the console itself + 1 game could go for 180€ or a little higher depending on its condition (mine was not great...)

Can't really get excited for Wave Race as I didn't have an N64 at that time and only ever played Mario 64 and F-Zero X at a friend's. Still, if this turns out to be a new installment of a series that is loved by many apparently, it's definitely a good thing

Harry Potter Complete Audiobook Edition. My girlfriend loves the series and always wanted to have audiobooks. Easy Christmas gift She'll also get the following: She seemed to enjoy the one hour she spent with Tearaway Unfolded so I figured this would be a nice present for her Vita She will also get an advent calendar for which I've bought sweets, bath salts and various other things. And this year, too, I bought some of @Eenuh's wonderful Christmas cards.

Only just finished the first mission in Dishonored Definitive Edition. I love stealth games so this is perfect for me. Not worrying about trophies in my first run. I just want to play through the game my own way (which currently involves trying to kill every enemy without being seen; haven't been as successful as I wanted to be, though set of alarms quite a lot...). But I'm already looking forward to the low chaos, no upgrades run. : peace: The open ended approach to each mission gives you so much freedom. It's awesome. And the sequel appears to be even better.

Depends on whether it drops in price in Germany or not. If I can find it for 25€ I'll definitely get it. If not then it's only FFXV for me in Decemper. Edit: December, of course...but I'll keep "Decemper" in there...

Started playing the Dishonored Definitive Edition yesterday. It's a bit of a lazy port. 30fps, no big graphical upgrades, long load times (nothing too annoying, though)... I got it free with Dishonored 2 so I won't complain too much It's still great fun. Gameplay is absolutely top-notch. I don't remember much from when I played the PS3 version 4 years ago which is great as it's mostly a new experience for me now. There's also all the DLC which I never played. : peace: I have only played the tutorial and started the first real mission yesterday. Enjoyed it a lot Can't wait to get back to it when I'm done with work.

That would be quite an amazing price point. Might sway me towards getting one rather sooner than later (i.e. after a year instead of 2-3).

Just finished the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered - Campaign (PS4). I can see why this is regarded as one of the finest shooters ever made. Enjoyed it very much. : peace: Next up: Dishonored - Definitive Edition (PS4)

Amazon dispatched my copy today but says it will be here on Monday...why? I don't know, normally it only takes a day. Anyway, looking forward to it. It comes with a code for the Dishonored Difinitive Edition. Will play through that one first, of course

Agreed. I have yet to find a JRPG with turn-based combat that rivals FFX. Great to hear that you enjoyed the game in the end

Trails of Cold Steel is quite high on my wanted-list Good to hear that it's a great JRPG. If FFXV didn't come out soon I'd be all over Trails...
