  1. @Hero\-of\-Time did you crank up the difficulty to very hard?
  2. The video game equivalent of taking a photo of your food :p
  3. Planning to clear out a Unidad base, executing that plan, failing halfway through and then adjusting to the firefight that started is such a joy.
  4. I've been doing the same convoy side mission for 30 minutes now to get some resources Should reduce the grind after finishing the game.
  5. It's a good thing my best mate bought this so we can play co-op. We had a blast with this a couple days ago. We completed the first area and it's definitely more challenging without a 3rd and 4th squad member. But we enjoy it that way : peace: It's my first GhostRecon and I like it very much. Will most likely only play this cooperatively.
  6. Been playing The Witness with my girlfriend a lot and being close to finishing it I can recommend it. The Talos Principle is great, too. Could be a bit more difficult to play together, though, as you need to walk around a lot to solve puzzles. Might be a little tough to focus for one if the other wanders around. Edit: Portal and Portal 2, the latter even has a co-op mode.
  7. It was. Didn't know that. Will keep that in mind : peace: Edit: Just noticed...
  8. @The Peeps buy a PS4 :p
  9. Had to steal a chopper for a side mission. Sent in drone to recon Made a plan Took out the commander Used sync shot to take out three soldiers Moved to get a better angle on the remaining 4 Final plan: Sync shot to take out three enemies, run in and kill the fourth, enter chopper, win Three enemies down, missed the fourth, he entered the chopper and flew away Fuck my life Love this game!
  10. Same here. I fucked up my approach/escape a couple of times just because I thought I could climb certain rocks For me, verticality is what BotW does best (if you ignore the stamina limitations) and I hope that other devs take notice.
  11. Urgh, the character design is really not my thing... Other than that it looks kinda cool. Future PS+ title maybe. I'll wait.
  12. Not that I think it's going to be a problem for you, but you need to make sure you're out of the "BotW mindset", i.e. understand that it's a very different game. I've read that a lot of people who finished BotW first were disappointed with HZD because of the limited vertical movement and linear story missions. Those people loved the new Zelda, though. Mabe it's a different thing for someone who is quite critical of BotW. (voice acting is shoddy at times, too. Combined with some weird facial animations it can be a bit odd. It's definitely not as bad as in Zelda.)
  13. Who doesn't? :p
  14. Alright I got it...thanks H-o-T :p Did the first mission. Pretty sure I'm going to enjoy it. The tactical approach is right up my alley Edit: Tried to tag a convoy...I was not equipped to succeed... Edit²: First impressions after an hour of playtime: it's definitely not a run-and-gun shooter it's very tactical and I like that the core gameplay is spot on - I love using the drone to mark enemies and setting up a plan to take them out; so far I've not done any missions aside from the first one so I didn't have to make more complex plan than "how do I kill everyone without being spotted" squad AI is good; wish there were more options though (e.g. give orders to individual squad members) the world looks beautiful I'm still not sure if I think the open world is just simply unnecessary, or a good device to connect everything that exists in this world ground vehicle controls are bad...they feel arcade-y and that doesn't fit can't comment on air vehicle controls, as I've only entered one helicopter there are radios everywhere and they are annoying as hell Shaping up to be a pretty good game. And here I thought I was burnt out on open world games...
  15. Just read the review and he is spot on. I don't particularly enjoy his writing style, though. I never could put my finger on what's wrong with the difficulty in BotW (maybe because I found it too easy), but Jim Sterling nails it: Like I said in the Nioh thread once: Enemies/bosses that can one-shot you get drahkon's bad-game-design-stamp :p Oh and a big L-O-L at the DDos attack...the gaming community is stupid.
  16. It was my very first Final Fantasy. I remember buying it almost 17 years ago, coming home and being absolutely shocked. THE CGI LOOKED LIKE REAL LIFE almost It's obviously nostalgia speeking but it's the best FF out there, so screw you H-o-T :p
  17. Ah fuck it I'll get it later today...With Zero Dawn finished and me not being in the mood for FFXV I'll trade them in...
  18. Well, for me it's IX that none of the others can reach :p
  19. Reading your posts, @Hero\-of\-Time, it makes me want to get Ghost Recon: WildLands...especially now that I could trade in Horizon Zero Dawn and another game and get it for 9.99€ Would you say it's worth it for singleplayer alone? Or just two players? Or if I join yo guys sometimes even though you are much farther ahead?
  20. I still need to play I-VII ...
  21. God of War III Remastered is done. Very enjoyable I'll leave the Platinum for some other time. I'm in the mood for another brutal game so I decided to download Hotline Miami. Finished it quite some time ago but I'll play it again over the next few days/weeks depending on the amount of free time I have. : peace:
  22. Nice to see some people here enjoying this. Looking forward to wrecking you :p
  23. Nope. In this case the save file tells you when you manually load a save. Fair enough. I don't have much of an idea about what good writing is objectively, so I may very well be wrong when I said Horizon Zero Dawn is "objectively incredible". I still love it and I think it's an incredible game :p
  24. Got the Platinum in 30 hours, which involves getting all collectibles, doing all sidequests and some miscellaneous things If you play on easy and ignore sidequests it might be 10-15 hours. Maybe even less depending on how good you are.
