Everyone seems to be so angry and ready to rip each other's throats out these days. So here's a thread where we talk about the good stuff that's happened to us and why life is good Can't be that hard, surely? Surely?! So to start - I did pretty much nothing today, but I've had a week's holiday so I feel relaxed and ready to deal with the world when I go back to work on Monday. Plus I get to see my best mate tomorrow and it feels like a lifetime since I last spoke to him, so that's good too

Don't mean to be the voice of reason here, but you've probably knackered your liver up good there. You might have been lucky (given you threw a lot of it up), but you gotta be careful with that stuff As for being a dumbass, I'm usually too much in the other direction to have too much in the way of fun But I've definitely done some dumb stuff which I really am not going to mention here!

God, it's been 8 or 9 years since I learnt to drive! *old* If you can get someone to take you out outside of driving lessons (once you've done the basics), it will help A LOT. I spent a lot of time out with my dad and by the time I passed my test I was quite happy to be out on my own Oh and get some motorway lessons if you can. I didn't, and it was ages before I was able to get on there, cos I'm a coward

Hmm, I was looking at Puni Puni Poemy in HMV today. Anyone know if it's any good? I was also looking at the English dub of Naruto, having enjoyed the first few episodes in subs.

I'm hoping the Villa will finish closer to the top 6 this season. O'Neill has now had his bedding-in season as we started to see the fruits of his labours towards the end of the season. Hopefully with some good buys, we can start climbing that table towards Europe. Liverpool at home first game of the season - I'll be there! Up The Villa!

It was last time I went Going up a different way. The café at the top is shut for refurbishing though Gonna have to go the standard 'big bottle of water' route I guess! Did that a couple of years ago, it's something else. If you haven't been before, prepare to be gobsmacked by Glen Coe. Oh and the tops of Ben Nevis and Ben Vorlich are spectacular on a good day. This was not a good day (and I look like a gnome on the left) This was (Ben Vorlich), but further compounds someone's suggestion that I look like a geography teacher

I'm driving (or rather, being driven) up to Snowdonia tomorrow, for a week walking in the Welsh mountains (including the big hill itself). Anyone else into hill-walking or going on holiday anywhere interesting?

Shame I'm not really bothered about Madden, as there seems to be more news about that around. Only seen a 360/PS3 preview of TW. Main things on my wishlist for TW08? Power bar, fix swing, online play. In that order.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it a bit strange that Madden 08 and Tiger Woods 08 are meant to be released in two months time, and yet we know pretty much nothing about them? EA surely can't be holding back until E3 can they, given that would probably be less that a month from release?
