True enough De Blob has gained commercial backing recently. I believe the PC game of Pollen Sonata is simply a prototype though. I don't really know anything about Capucine. I suppose it depends if the Wii versions came about before or after the games were picked up by big companies. I'm rather hoping we'll see more 'out of left field' games like Pollen Sonata and De Blob coming about on WiiWare. These are the types of games I find interesting.

I haven't heard anything about the technologies (although the graphics processor is an ATI chip, so I guess it's a possibility), but small studios don't seem to be having much trouble putting things together - especially since we're seeing 'student projects' being turned into fully fledged games. I think the purchase of the dev kit (costs about $2000 I think?) could be a stumbling block for some bedroom coders looking to get into the WiiWare business though.

I just looked at the Rock Band lineup compared to the Guitar Hero lineup: The GH3 lineup SUCKS compared to that. Who? Sabbath? Blue Oyster Cult? Bon Jovi? Nirvana? Metallica? Foo Fighters? There's barely anything in the current GH3 lineup fit to lick the boots of some of those songs. And I guess they've been signed as 'exclusive' to Rock Band now. No Metallica songs at all? Crap I'm a sad panda

I'll have to remember that when I pause the game and move the camera to the side while playing Seriously, it all looks fine to me, about Excite Truck level graphics, which was in no way bad. If have enough time to examine whether the wheels have enough polygons to look completely round, then I'll be putting the game down for having no gameplay whatsoever!

Ah, that's true if you use the analog stick for the looking. What I mean in that case then is that it would be like a 'mouselook' button with the Wiimote operating as the mouse. You just couldn't move the camera and shoot at the same time (not sure if that would be a problem). Frankly, anything is better than the impenetrable dual analog method. Being a PC gamer most of the time, I just can't get my head around it!

I really don't understand why it's so difficult. Why can't you just have a 'turn button'? So like Z on the nunchuck + the analog stick/pointing allows you to turn. When you let go of Z, you stop turning and start aiming. It seems to obvious to me, I can't understand why no-one has implemented it.
