People Who Need To Be Punched In The Face

"What's that eye there for, David?" "Protection...protection from god." What a complete tosser, lol. -
There is a thin line. Stuff that people tend to overvalue gets played more, so seems overplayed as well as being overrated. A good game equivalent is Final Fantasy VII. I would say Abba songs are definitely overrated... they are catchy songs, but not exactly great songs. They don't deserve all the attention still in this day and age.

The problem with the bare bones Tales series is that they are all so similar and tend to do nothing new from previous games. I really liked Tales games at one point (ToS was the first Tales I played, so loved it), but playing more of them really did show me how similar they were - complete with usually a bad story and similar battle mechanics. The characters are usually fairly one dimensional and the plot twists usually predictable. I did really like ToS, still do. Just playing a few more Tales games after that felt like I was playing sort of the same game, and I wasn't impressed. I actually put Tales of Legendia (one of the worst RPGs I've played) in the dustbin (I'm not kidding), and just gave up on Abyss, Phantasia and Eternia. Yawn. =/

Wasps are the only insect in our country that I try to get the hell out of the way from...I'll even pick up any spider and put it out. They are such nasty buggers and they really do try go for you.

Have to disagree, IMO Sonic 2 was probably the best Sonic ever made. After Sonic 2 the levels were cluttered and had many objects you had to interact with to progress, which was stupid. You had vines and the odd lift in Sonic 2, but the games after that felt like you were always having to tug or hoist onto something. Also, the level design wasn't as good. Emerald Hill, Aquatic Zone and the casino were all classics. Sonic 2 ftw.

Admittedly, Noel was at one time slightly legendary. You only have to see one episode of DOND now though to realise how far he has slipped. =/ -

I think rounding up every contestant of the show, past and present, and going that extra notch out of kindness to society; that is implementing a shotgun as opposed to a clobbering, would be the best thing to do. For everyone. -
I agree with the story concept there...the TP Ganondorf was tacked on. That said, though, it does seem to me that both games were rather average, looking back. Neither game felt as if it added much to the series from OoT (unlike MM, which felt like a very different game due to the time concept). Both were pretty pale compared to what we've all played in the past. It's a shame.

In a way it feels kind of bad to laugh at Madonna, because there is no way in hell that mental problems were not involved during the shooting of that vid. It feels bad, but I get over it. -

Or just kill people who make bad music and marry people who make bad films. =D The man is an annoying sell-out on one of the most drawn-out, stupid programs there is going. :p -

I agree that JK needs a punch, but at the very least he does verbally rip the utter shit out of people who should not possess human rights. -

Middle-aged woman in a leotard, it's absolutely sick. She should have been sectioned as soon as the video was released. -

I hate this guy, what a twat. The way he steals the limelight from JLC is annoying. I remember at first liking him, but now he just appears like a smug little bastard. In agreement with someone else: He reminds me of that little camp kid out of Ugly Betty, only grown up. He tells women that they don't look ugly. Wow, great TV. And: And most definitely: (for starring in Deal of No Deal, easily one of the biggest loads of superstitious shit on TV). -
Anything by Kylie.

Stop daydreaming. Broadband is so bad in the UK and so many places at the moment that the switch would probably not be made for years and years. Also, that requires a net connection, and Nintendo as you well know love the simple approach. They'd stick to discs for ages.

Slapped my lead in that I just got and it's all going good. It seems to work best when I do a dual setup with different resolutions where both monitors are on, and the TV is used as a sort of secondary desktop extension on 760p. Browsing the net, video and games all look great.

Happy Birthday, hope you have a good day.

Sigh...Microsoft really have screwed up big time with the reliability of this console, then it seems like they treat existing customers like crap when it comes to repairs. I really think they should have replaced every circulating 360 with a model that was guaranteed not to red ring so easily (devoted their efforts to finding this solution). Continuing to sell a product that is near guaranteed to break in a reasonable space of time is downright atrocious. I got my elite just over a month ago and I'm not looking forward to the almost inevitable red ring. Rest assured, when I do have to get it repaired I'm going to rip the guy's (customer support) balls off and shove them down his throat. =D

It never crashed for me in the 90+ hours I played it, although I have heard a fair few people say it does crash. Sometimes during the loading of battle it can stutter a bit, but that's the lot for me.

Well the cable used to connect my old monitor to my PC plugs into a slot on the TV which is labelled "RGB/PC", and the TV had a PC channel which allowed me to view my desktop on a dual screen display. It might not have been DVI then, although I'm not sure of the difference. Edit: haha yes, it is a VGA. The cable looks like this, which is what I found when I googled VGA cable. So since my TV has HDMI ports do you rekcon I can use my DVI -> HDMI lead? (Searching DVI cable comes up with the same cable used to connect my current monitor to my computer).
