Nice. It would probably never happen, but I'd love if they found a way to make HD offerings of the PS1 Final Fantasy games. They'd have to hire some muggins of an artist to faithfully reconstruct the background art at higher resolution, but that's a muggins I'd like to know and respect. Of course, they'd charge something like £25+ for each installment but by god I'd pay it.

Your headphones will never annoy others if they're around normal loudness, regardless of track changes. If you can 'accidentally' annoy others through change in track then your headphones must be loud to begin with. It's really annoying to hear the sound from people's headphones blasting out. Although not quite as annoying as chavs with poor quality phones playing rap music from their tinny phone speaker.

Tekken 3 was my first ps1 game... Loved it. The whole feel of tekken seemed suited to the 90s, probably because of the arcade feel.

True, but I can't see it ever really being that useful. The best thing to do would be to kick the person killing you constantly away since you probably wouldn't want to lose out on gang XP or whatever you were doing to go out the window. Even better would be to match people who had played the game for similar amounts of time together. Yay for DLC.

Of course. For instance: If we're talking about an awesome scale of 1-10 then yes, 12 is fairly accurate. Utterly, undeniably, terrible humour. As a side, I find it utterly bizarre that someone who thought it was funny to dress up as a woman for e-attention is questioning my ability to understand humour. Hilarious, but bizarre. :p

When you started playing UC2 with ReZ your language in posts and your idea of humour totally changed. Is all I'm saying. And geez no need to go Armageddon with your response, lol.

Got a letter today saying I'll be paid over £18k a year tax-free while doing my PhD in London. Awesome. In other news, I've gone down to Hertfordshire with my girlfriend and we've put a deposit down on a really nice appartment, and will be moving in early September. Should really get some pictures up, it's incredibly nice and actually looks quite expensive. It's a fairly brand new block of appartments and costs around £900 a month to rent. Roll on September.

Well clearly they are a cross between man (mammal) and sharks (fish). Therefore neither mammal nor fish. It would be tempting to go with amphibian, and seeing as they can live on land and presumably in water they are probably paedomorphs. They kept the ability to breathe underwater as they grew up. I feel ridiculous for giving this a proper response.

lol, can't see that working so well. Especially considering that you often get attacked while clearing a gang hideout (thus you wouldn't want to spawn further away). I got the platinum on this the other week, should really play it online some more though.

Fallout because your typical FPS just bores me now. I like to think rather than play something almost purely impulsive, and I love that it's an RPG.

Well I played through God of War 1 and it's still really enjoyable in this day and age. To be honest, God of War 2 is very similar but with more epic boss fights and set pieces, and tidier gameplay mechanics (like being able to mash X to move along ropes quicker, or holding R1 to drop down quickly).

Been playing this, only just opened it the other week despite having it for months. I really like it; played and platinum'd God of War 1 and playing through God of War 2 at the moment. They seem to be easy to get trophies on (GoW 1 lets you unlock an unlimited magic costume to make <5 hour completion quite easy indeed), and it's good fun. Having never played God of War before, and knowing this is an updated PS2 game, I'm very impressed. Definitely worth buying if you've never played GoW before.

I just had this last night actually! mmm. The banana cake I made was essentially doubled up from a recipe I normally use. With 6 bananas packed into one cake, I could have started marketing it like an innocent smoothie.

What is your favourite cake? Do you have any baking success photos? I just made my girlfriend a banana cake for her birthday. It looks plain such she doesn't like icing, but it's very delicious.

Ghibli films are some of my favourites. I'd say my favourite is Spirited Away, simply because it captures an atmosphere that is unmatched by anything else. Really like Princess Mononoke, Laptua, Howl's Moving Castle... Grave of the Fireflies is brilliant, but oh so very sad. A bit too sad to bring me back time and time again. Quite depressing in all honesty.

That sounds so crazy. Really glad the PS3 doesn't have this rating system attached since it's obviously open to mega abuse. Can't say I've ever came across anyone who cheated and I've played it so much. There's occasionally a little bit of lag that causes people to kill you through an object, or make it look like people are shooting at you while behind an object. Although knives absolutely annihilate when used with deadeye. They were probably doing that?

Agreed! I started watching this with my girlfriend earlier. Needless to say, about 25 minutes in and we couldn't watch anymore. It was actually a chore to listen to what they were saying and we derived no enjoyment from what we saw. It's such a terrible direction to take; explaining little and having groups of people ranting jibberish back and forth.

Yeah but if games were much more important to you you'd go with the psp since they're typically much better and comparable to console games.
