Good. That's the whole bloody point! If what I was saying was obvious to everyone regardless then I either wouldn't say it, or would say it so bluntly and not bother being cryptic about it. You said you thought you knew anyway, so I don't understand the aggressive vote casting and me needing to spill it. If you thought I was a target switcher then you could have surely followed the chain of events that I typed above...leading to the most likely conclusion that I'm putting forward the taser guy. There's no evidence that he even is a protector? That's like saying a crime is easy to solve when there are no clues. I wouldn't really say he gave any hints either, since someone saying their power being known is a bad thing could pretty much apply to any role. It definitely was. Look again at your quote: I'm sorry, but that's so clearly a follow on to the comment I made. It's just not something you say unless it's pretty heavily hinted to you in the first case that that's the case - which indeed, it was. You can argue that you didn't mean that, but that's certainly how your words come across. Lastly, Jonnas I'd like to know that now that you know Animal's the taserer (something you initially argued against), why you still aren't voting Animal? Cube said this: So in a way, that's something substantial about them both. Good point! I forgot about that... ok, so I don't think you roleblocked EEVIL. We've just got to remember that some people appear to have more than one ability when we come to our conclusions.
-
I was unforgiving of Jonnas because all the information was there, but he said it anyway (then demanded my targets at vote point). Once he knew in his head I was the target switcher he surely realised that I knew Animal went to you, since I was responsible. You said you were tasered when Animal went to you (and Animal admitted to be being a RB who was redirected). RBing Jimbob was scummy, and it was done by taser. After all that, it seems oddly hostile that he ever dropped a vote on me, and weirder still that he hasn't laid one down on Animal. I'm having it the way of "you're the only guy we know nothing about yet". Nothing personal. What, and drop the lynch on Animal? Also who would follow? Sure, we don't have anything on you to lynch you, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the fact you have put nothing forward while nearly everyone else has. Maybe. We have seen a town version of a booster already... We're trying to find out why EEVIL was stopped. Can you stop people directly?
-
U wot m8? I wouldn't say he called me out... if you look back I said "I am very strongly of the belief that Animal targeted Peeps the other day.". That was obvious enough that Jonnas's next line in response to me was "Oh, so you were the redirector this entire time?" It was obvious enough what I was saying for him to reply in such a way - like "oh, so it was you" rather than "are you the switcher?" Just going through the list of what people have claimed... Are you the booster or can you pick/copy powers? Saying you're one of them is good enough.
-
No idea. I want to find out what Peeps does.
-
You're right, that is weird. Could be DuD's decision or something else really. Although you can see in the writeup it says he was stopped. Could be they can write what they want, but a lot of it has been previously confirmed. Note that he hasn't been observed protecting himself, and that he has apparently opted to protect himself over the cop. Damn selfish if he was a townie!
-
I want to know why you haven't voted Animal when you know now he's the taserer. For a while you've been arguing he's not the taserer, but now you know he is I'd expect you to vote him. @The Peeps laying a vote is all well and good but we know nothing about you. I don't really trust you and that's why I've switched with you a few times now.

Oh hang on, I spend ALL MY TIME on the Wii U boards? Woah, why didn't someone tell me? Because when I think back, it looks to me like I spend most of my time these days in the Destiny topic, or Mafia, and a small amount of time in other topics. I spend some time in Nintendo topics, but guess what; I own a Wii U! So yeah, no reason why I shouldn't be there sometimes. And sod the anti-negativity police. The fact you can't address how petty and spiteful you just were directly shows that there is a deep-rooted issue with the way you think it's ok to talk to people. Such a nasty way to respond to someone saying they dislike a game. "You don't like it because you're a cretin who can't play games of skill", rather than attempting to understand why they didn't like it. Did I call kav a moron for not appreciating TLOU even though it was also critically acclaimed? No, I did not. Because that's a vile way to conduct yourself, and people can dislike games for a host of reasons.
-
Do you realise how ignorant you come across when you say that? When you instantly assume that I am an 'unskilled gamer' because I don't like this game? Do you also realise how childish this makes you come across? Even though I have corrected you before by stating the difficult games I enjoy playing (and beating), you again opt to provide an insulting reason for why I don't like the game. Man, what the hell is wrong with you? You're such a spiteful and petty person!
-
I really don't understand, you said you're aware of Monster Hunter yet say replaying missions is weird? You sure you played MH?
-
Who cares if something is critically acclaimed? It's like he's arguing that because a group of other people have said something is a better game, that ultimately our experience of finding our PS4 more enjoyable is wrong. Now that's a stupid point! Case in point, from my own experience I find Bayonetta a fucking chore to play. I have literally no incentive to go back to this boring game! Bayonetta 2 is also a sequel to Bayonetta 1, which plays out near enough the same as its predecessor, as is Smash Bros Wii U to all its predecessors. At least TLOU is a new series with a new combat system, characters and story (regardless of what you say about the gameplay being derivative, it can be nowhere near as derivative as straight sequels). Straight sequels being Nintendo's bread and butter these days! Just think - maybe people are enjoying their PS4s because it offers new game experiences like Destiny, not just the same game they have already played? Just saying.
-
Ha. You insult derivative games while praising other derivative games. I see what you did there!
-
I would personally say this game is far more fun than MH, because in MH you were limited to 4 player games and the gameplay was far less fun. I'd take highly polished FPS mechanics coupled to a really good competitive multiplayer mode over Monster 3rd person dodge-slash mechanics.
-
And yet, you were tasered. This is the same result Peeps said he got when Animal was redirected to him, when Animal had set out to roleblock me. So Jimbob, aren't you going to lay a vote down on Animal, given it seems he roleblocked you from getting a cop result (on him no less!)
-
I would quit now. I know you like Nintendo games that are very traditional; I honestly can't imagine that this game would be your cup of tea and you're just going to get more and more bitter about it if you keep playing. It's not worth doing it to yourself. It's a very social experience and there is, admittedly, a long path ahead before you get to what most players consider to be the best part of the game. But when you do get to that part, you're left with a game that is pretty much like nothing else of last generation consoles in terms of social experience and co-operation. Tens of us on here still play it months after release because it's just that much fun when you're teaming up. A major aspect of this game is self-improvement; the constant drive to upgrade and better yourself. It's the same thing that underlies the Monster Hunter games and MMORPGs. Some people would call it a grind but honestly, this is far less grindy than an MMORPG. And 'dat shooting mechanics. Shit be polished.
-
I'm genuinely disappointed in your play if you're town because you've essentially dragged information out (that I was pretty much hinting at anyway) that makes me far less useful now that I have to reveal it so bluntly. There's no way you know all my targets, but I'll tell you who I switched anyway. Me-ReZ, Me-Peeps, EEVIL-Peeps. The last one is because I didn't trust Peeps (who I knew little about), but do trust EEVIL, and thought they might try off him. Once again, this just means anyone who was going for one of them would have gone for the other, thus someone trying to kill EEVIL would have killed Peeps. @The Peeps, did anything happen to you last night? We know something happened to EEVIL, but nobody has admitted to being redirected. Most importantly out of all this - Animal was sent to Peeps (Animal admitted targeting me, that he's a roleblocker, and that he was redirected, and Peeps admitted to being roleblocked by taser - so much supporting evidence). Now Jimbob who says he is the cop says he was also tasered. Ergo, it is no large leap to link Animal with Jimbob's tasering.
-
So you're not told in your description that you taser people when you roleblock and therefore claim that you don't taser as part of your flavour? Have you considered that you're not told the flavour in which you roleblock? Like many games, people often don't know the flavour behind how they carry out on action. I don't. What's funny is that you refuse to deny a part of your action despite the fact that you have been caught red handed targeting Peeps when he claims he was tasered (yes, it was me who was responsible for you going elsewhere). You have admitted to roleblocking, and the roleblocked player says they were tasered, and now Jimbob says it too. Answer your way out of that one.
-
Guys for the last time it was mr-paul!
-
You were redirected to Peeps who said he was tasered. Jimbob who says he is cop also says he was tasered. Either they are all lying to form this story or you are. And you still haven't answered how you apparently 'know' you don't taser when you roleblock! How do you supposedly know this? Come on guys, this is painful. Signing off with 'I'm on to you' is pure amateur dramatics.
-
Doubtless, but you said "we know with absolute certainty" regarding taserguy being Mafia, but seeing as you've decided another redirector is a possibility then it's not certain at all. Anyway, all this is a bit pointless; I'll lay out the case for lynching Animal right now: - Animal has admitted to being a roleblocker - Animal almost certainly targeted Peeps after he was redirected to someone. He admitted he went to roleblock someone, and that his action was not blocked. That someone was roleblocked - Peeps. - Peeps says that when he was roleblocked he was tasered, the same way in which Jimbob says he was targeted. - Jimbob claims cop, while nobody else has (giving him credibility). Roleblocking him is obviously a scummy thing to do. -Another roleblocker, Yvonne, claims to have roleblocked mr-paul last night. We saw in the writeup today that mr-paul was stopped and also he confirmed it. So Yvonne does not appear to be behind the tasering - and Animal has not countered to say that he was responsible for mr-paul's RB. - Animal claims that his roleblock does not involve tasering people. This just sounds like a lie, really. How would you know? - Animal won't tell us what he does on the other night, and claims it would leave him vulnerable. This just strikes me as either a lie or selfish given there are other seemingly more important roles out there. I have considered that Mafia could redirect him to carry out their bidding and taser people, but Animal claims last night to not have been manipulated (unlike the other day), and that he didn't even attempt to carry out a roleblock last night. It is also possible that someone has cloned Animal's power or somebody else's, but given all we know it seems like a very good shout to lynch him. And lastly, it's possible someone else did taser Peeps, but given we know Animal went to him anyway, then it seems like he should have felt Animal's effects. Unless Peeps is lying about the method in which he was roleblocked. Vote: Animal Tell us what you do on the other nights, and how you 'know' you don't taser when you roleblock @Animal.
-
A non Nintendo fanboy? :p
-
@Yvonne is your roleblocking ability something you use on alternating nights (the other night being protection?) Did you roleblock mr-paul?
-
Bwaha, indeed. I remember him complaining about that. :p
-
Possible, but if we're going to assume the Mafia have another redirector then it could also apply to your next point: If the Mafia can redirect then they could have redirected the guy doing the taserings to Jimbob. I am very strongly of the belief that Animal targeted Peeps the other day.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
Sheikah replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
All it shows is that both sell like shit on the Wii U. -
Could have sworn you got them both after Gatekeeper, which is actually a 6.4% chance. Still, pretty unlucky (actually no, pretty lucky actually, to even get one... :p) Also the thing about opening the spirit bloom chest despawning the no teleport chest is apparently bogus.
