I think my concern is whether or not I would have the patience to stick with it to find the gems underneath, especially if I've got other options. Having said that, I am tempted, and may go for it at a good price/deal.

Frag's gotten me a bit into the WWE events that come about this year so I'm getting somewhat used to all these people. I must say though that I'm thoroughly nonplussed by Reigns - he seems a bland pretty boy to me. I don't know what, if anything, his gimmick is supposed to be, I can't say I find his wrestling remarkable, and I don't quite understand with that why he seems to repeatedly be the main man at the moment.

No taken, basically everything but :p I haven't seen an exotic from the chests yet myself, but have gotten some purples at like 160 or whatever it is, so I just trash them straight away. Were any of the exotics available from it carried over to Year 2 versions, do you know? Wouldn't mind one if I get one to then buy a year 2 version for another shard...

I only started running it as tinternet suggested it to be a good source for strange coins - tbh I'd probs say I am getting more from it than I would going about my other usual activities. Was there any differences/changes made to it between Year 1 and 2? Can't google much Destiny stuff at work annoyingly.

I think as H-o-T mentions, many such as myself are getting a fix elsewhere. I'm torn on getting this right now or not considering the online aspects and actually enjoying them whilst everyone else is about and busy etc, but there's been a number of issues with the game for me that took a lot of wind out of the sales(I made a typo, but it's a worthy pun). Namely, the still arguably weak online functionality, the long time until its release, the size of it(storage wise, but I guess scope can come in too), and the somewhat mixed reception to it before release - though there's been good reports too which have got me tempted(as per a post earlier in the thread). I was more on a hype train for it off the back of the first/original XC, but as time went on it became clearer and clearer that it wouldn't quite match up - if it had come out sooner I might have still be riding that wave and snapped it up.

I'd consider joining but I was an absolute liability on even my normal mode raid last night! Kept jumping off the damn switch-platform too soon fucking it up for the runner/all of us. Def need to run this raid a few more times on Normal to get my sequencing right. I was wondering in other tings though - does anyone care much for Prison of Elders? Does it give anything much more decent at the higher fireteam only levels? I've been doing a lot of the low/matchmaking level one the past week for strange coins(gotten about 35-40, including from 6 treasure keys) so been wondering if there's any point trying to get people together to a higher level one. I've done the Skola's Revenge one once before, though it took us ages; however I wasn't really paying any attention to the rewards I would have gotten at the time to know if it's worth it on a repeated basis.

I gave up on the game because it was taking me too long to get the new stage bits unlocked - didn't think it'd bother me much originally but it irked me enough in the end that I just stopped bothering playing at all. They should have kept both the day limit option AND the new system imo, because as much as I enjoyed creating it just felt a bit choresome even when I was trying to follow a thing that said how to unlock it all fast!

Was the price in English pounds for it? Despite my hefty Terraria love I never ever got into Minecraft; a good UI on WiiU might tempted me though if the price is right.

Mmm I'm interested to how it goes for me! Just got my second exotic engram from doing PoE - another helmet that came out at 290 for a hunter(mask of the third man?) Vaulted for now but will most likely scrap it at some point - can't see me levelling my hunter up any time soon.

As far as I found when researching recently - no. I had to add/use my friend's profile on my PS4 just to test the bloody thing out! The only other option is using diff memory cards and doing a reset every time - it's madness! My opinion on the pad is generally mu - just not found anything I particularly hate or love about it, but I was going to ask; exactly when does the battery life start getting terrible? I find it pretty reasonable so far! I've only had it 3 months though. Think only twice have I got to a red light with it.

Yiiisssss! Just cashed the exotic helmet engram 3oC netted me yesterday...came out at 310! Whilst sad I don't have a shard like I wanted, I cannot complain about a 310 for now.

Just caught this on facebook. Whilst I never finished the originally(probably didn't make all that much progress) there was something absolutely lovely and charming about it - lived up to its Ghibli involvement - I'll be highly likely to pick this sequel up at some point!

Didn't think of that, though I'm trying mostly to use the 3oC passively with whatever I'm doing anyway(for some stupid reason, I find myself really drawn to spawning and killing Taken champions...think I blame Petra :p). Speaking of which I'll probs run some Prison of Elders most of today for strange coins, using up my keys, and use my 3oC with that? Though I'm running down on them so maybe I'll just run the vanguard strikes as you say, not gonna take up too much time. Just at the bit with the daughters atm, so not too much to do - easy lootings!

Used to really bug me in the event of battery failings, so I've generally always been wired. Exception is a wireless with a super-long cable that it doesn't matter(ie wii u gamepad) or a controller with a super good battery life on a recharge(ps3/ps4 been good for that) - never liked battery specific pads though, even though that should ofc give me great flexibility of sorts. Also seconding Ashley - game online/in store are completely different prices and they don't care. There's something somewhere saying they won't neccessarily be the same.

Thanks, ran the level 10 moon strike just as a close out as it's fairly short and easy just in case. It did get me to thinking though - is the drop rate identical across all ultras? Could you just run the easy/faster strikes if leaving enough time between them/killing the ultra to avoid the nerfing effect they put in?

Yeah, after 8 coins just got my first drop! Was from a taken champ. If I log off/turn off after the coin I last popped just stay active or is there still a timeout(as didn't kill an ultra)?

6x3oCoins down - still no exotics -.- Telesto is indeed quite fun though, enjoying it even still just at 280. Need to work hard on getting my strange coins up for more 3oC going forward, really hoping it works out with some exotics for me.

Thanks. Killed 3 or 4 of them last night(well, as late as i was here) in various locations with 3oC but no engram drop so far, might buy another 5-10 today and run some strikes hoping for the best.

Cheers. I do love my void Long Far Gone in PvE and checked a video of the Telesto - can afford it and reckon I'd enjoy it just wondering if I should buy it right now or not though. Hadn't considered the 3oC much before(don't fully understand it either) but maybe something I should start looking into as I think I'm gonna try to run raids etc more often. Do exotic engrams come out a varying light level if they're year 2 items btw, or still at 280? I've only ever gotten Year 1s from engrams I think.
