Dunno if you're still searching for solutions to the problem McMad, or found any, but what settings did you change from default on the router? Also, is it a problem just with wireless, or with wired in computers too?

Before somebody comes in here and bashes you/corrects you about how bad WiiConnect24 is, can you tell me just how bad it is, compared to some other things in your household? Second, can you do the same compared to the other consoles? Third, if it's such a big issue for you, just don't have it on, it isn't forced upon any user iirc. I've got quite a terrible manner of eating my fingers too, though it's more a terribly bad habit than it is a guilty pleasure. I tend to get the skin around the nails(sometimes it's really...like hard?) and sometimes biting of shreds of nail rips up skin so i end up gnawing that shit away too. My left thumb got a tiny bit bloody earlier from biting the nails down to the cuticle and beyond like. I don't know why it's so satisfying to do at the time.

Oh my, that does look like a mighty interesting job! With my degree drawing to a close in just a few months, and it being just up in london, I can't deny I am tempted to apply myself as a bit of an experience, I'd pose risking my currently...unpredictable? part time job though for the NHS though, as they expect me to work once every 12 weeks(i havent worked since december) otherwise they take me off their register and I have to reapply, and they're not taking people anymore . Still, testing and shiz would be a pretty cool jobby As for my day, most of it has been spent sitting at my laptop, not getting work done, I have 1700 words currently left to write in line with my aim, discussion of my results and study, then a short conclusion of a few hundred words. Deadline is tomorrow, or friday(they gave us an extension due to a few issues with the building work, and a guy pushing hard for it) but I AM going to get this done TONIGHT. Then touch it up over the week, and hand it in next friday. I can't afford not to get done with Brawl(!!!!!) on the way and a heinous amount of drinking planned.

Yeah, I remember the screen, interesting thanks. When you actually VS someone online though, is there any sort of score ration shown? Like when you play MKDS or PH online, you can be shown scores, Win/Loss/Percentage etc and it also acts as a factor in Rivals matches too, is any of that in Brawl? My real main interest is if there's a win percentage/ratio. Not off topic at all, saved brawl/replay sounds quite cool! Gonna be interesting to watch some back after playing, would be even more amazing if it one day ends up as a spectator match! That's one of the main reasons I'd record my battles for. Hopefully this'll be here by saturday at the latest, then expect to see me in the online board (I assume spectator matches aren't a spoiler, as it was on the earlier Dojo updates, right? Are all Dojo updates/notices before the Japanese release fair game?)

Direct bank transfer'd be awkward too, looking for a quick, easy, and simple way to do it, basically something just like paypal without the crappy costs/fees, cos it's such small amounts, it takes a huge chunk with it each time. I emailed PayPal about it anyway to ask if they can do anything, as they apparently do things for not-for-profit organisations and charities, though I don't currently count as either. Hopefully I'll be able to get it sorted out somehow, and when I do....well, watch this space!

Well what I'm actually looking to do, is collect lots of little sums of money from other people, and it seems Paypal charge fees for recieving money. There's a bit of info I found on something called Micropayments, which it says is only offered to verified sellers for amounts under $2, with a fee of 5%+$0.05, which wouldn't be too intolerable, I guess. I might email them about it and see.

I didn't really know where to put this, and I had no idea where to start looking internet wise either so I'm hoping some of you guys might know. Basically, does anyone know anything I could use to take small amounts of money from lots of different people? Like say if I had 20 people who all wanted to pay me 50p, would it be possible to do transfers like that online, without any or with very minimal costs? It'd be kinda like a donation/fee like system, not actually selling something for the small cost, I dunno if paypal'd be ok for it, and my mate said that paypal charge, though I haven't actually looked yet.

I know I know, it sounds contradicting but my XP laptop should have the equivalent of good glasses! Basically, because I've set my network to WEP, I decided at the same time to turn off the SSID broadcast, however, it's seems to be causing some problems for one of the laptops we have that is running XP. I'm fairly sure a long time ago in the past it had no issues with networks that had the SSID turned off, but now it seems to. I've set up everything fine on it, SSID, Key, set to automatically connect, highest priority etc, but it constantly cannot find the network. I've tried repairing the connection too, and still to no avail. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before, or know any ideas of what could be causing it, or is it simply an XP thing(i dont have any other XP wirelesses)? I wanted to try and avoid turning on my SSID broadcast, cos I'm weird like that, and I'm curious why it won't work anyway.

Important question! With online, does it keep track of records/a score? If so, how does it do it? Like wins/losses/percentage etc or is it more detailed, or is it nothing at all?
