Just gonna leave this here...

Yeah I'm kinda thinking that myself atm, I think I've always given the HM titles a bit more time when they were on handheld than console but I might be tempted later on PS4 if it gets a reduction or I get bored of Overwatching. Think it'd definitely suit a Switch style setup for me more, though.
-
Do we know what price it's going to be on PS4? I'm definitely tempted by it...
-
The thing I'd put to you though - would you have said at the same of the WiiU around its launch or seen its poor performance coming back then? It's easy to speculate and get excited and hope it's all going to be ok, but I feel like we've been burned more than once and it's made me rather wary. Don't get me wrong - I'm still rather excited for the system and looking to keep something to hand so I can buy it when it comes if it ticks the right boxes; but I cannot say it's something I'm going to definitely be getting on launch...yet.

Was gonna say looking at these I feel like your art style and creative direction has possibly changed but I still love it, I'm really really really not in any much of a way a creative person myself but I do love seeing the evolution of artists and their style over time! You damn dirty thiefer! Also ignoring the Fakemon for a sec srsly why are you not totally designing new mobs for Zelda and also maybe drawing up some crazy awesome Link/Zelda/other possible protagonist designs??
-
I have to wonder if Weeki took any inspiration form the Kikwi?? Good to see you(and the fakeemon) back again!
-
Yeah a slightly strange(but rather Nintendo) sort of choice. I can see why - they're probably worried about pirating/jailbreaks etc but it's definitely a barrier that might put some off. Do we know how much data it's likely to use at all?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

LEAKS ARE WEAK DOWN WITH JOURNALISTS. But yeah, rumour is dock cools the console a bit more so it can beef up compared to handheld/undocked I believe. -
Can anyone give me some links to good deals on the PS4? Also possibly some close(or better) high street prices? Bit last minute in organising but thinking about a christmas whipround to get one together for someone...
-
Adding fuel to the fire but isn't it actually even worse? Though kinda agreeing on the Wii game front for Switch if we're looking to PS4/generational equivalence atm. PS2->PS3->PS4 GC->Wii->WiiU->Switch

Always rare to see irony in Serebii's posts. I do want to genuinely say that I find that latter statement arrogant, belittling, patronising, rude and incredibly insulting towards Blade. I'm bloody glad he's decided to take your post for what it's worth and treat it accordingly.

Even LESS information coming out from Nintendo? You're a madman, HoT!

Yeah £20-40 as opposed to something more £40-60. I'd definitely be able to convince a mate or two to consider a dock, or maybe even a whole switch to go with it, at £30 or less for a dock. Just hope they've seriously stress tested this thing and we don't get any overheating/burnout sort of issues a year or two down the line. Hi, I see you're new here. Welcome to the forums! Or no they wouldn't? Ofc what I could really use right now would be something like a post by @Hero\-of\-Time maybe like 2-3 posts ago that gives an exact parallel sort of example to help illustrate said point; but I'm probably plum out of luck on that front.

As I said last night - level and skill are certainly not on an equal footing! Consider also that I tend to play most often in groups and got a 20% XP bonus for a lot of that. Testament to my lack of skill for my apparent level is probably given from the games I joined last night - if I was so much better than you guys surely I should be taking all the golds!! You do improve with time though, I'm certainly at a better level now than I was when I started. Have ended up spectating Eenuh a few times as D.Va and Sombra - I've seen quite a quick falloff with Sombra usage generally, but I feel like from spectating that Eenuh's definitely picked up Overwatch quicker than I did! No way was I playing at that sort of level, at that level! Have you tried any competitive stuff yet @Eenuh? It's certainly different and can feel a bit more tense/serious, but I'm curious as to where your Season performance might end up given your level compared to how I've seen you play!

I've been with Virgin Media fibre over 3 houses for at least 7-8 years now. Maybe it's my area; but I've honestly never had much complaint about them(except when service goes down, but that's been rather rare for me and more often than not in working hours too). As a result I can't give any real comparison to any competition; but they've obviously been doing something right that we all use them. Mates with them seem to appreciate them too. Ofc, we could all be in some weird freakish super good area as we're mostly nearby each other. One thing to conisder is what customer services may be like if things DO go wrong - my mate's internet got knocked out for about 2-3 weeks or something silly recently and they kept saying it'd be fixed by x point when it wasn't. She was kinda sad as I'd just sold her dwarf's ps4 and Overwatch and she couldn't play at all! I realise that may be a harrowing thought for you, but thought it may be a relevantly extreme tale for yourself :p (don't let it put you off though, it's the first terrible story I've heard about them from friends for a while)

Had meant to post at @Mr\-Paul and @Eenuh for the games the other night - hope you didn't mind us doing Brawls(and the super long waiting times as there was 6 of us) - we were just tearing up the brawls to mix it up a bit and get some of the Arcade loot boxes - but I had some rather enjoyable games!

You'll have to let me know where the archived streams are! I did see a bit of the level he was replaying, thought at first you were just running the original footage until I noticed that lakitu was gone; woulda tried to stay and watch and keep yous company but I really needed to sleep(did so much later than I actually left).

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Rummy replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Man, if only Zelda was a grill! There'd be no more mystery! -
Anyone on tonight? Happy to QP or if possible knock out the 10 placement matches with a solid group for all 10. Mostly just to see how our end ranks might turn out with the rumours of it being close to S2 finishings.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Rummy replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well, I've been wracking my brains and I just can't figure out who else could be a main female character that's anything similar looking to Link in a game like Zelda - I guess it'll remain a mystery forever! -
I lost my friend of the time just before the tundra and never really managed to properly find someone after that(few calls here and there). Imagine how that makes your Journey feel!! Still, glad you enjoyed it. I made two people play Journey this year - good to see it still holds up all this time later. I might try and rope a few other people into it soon too - just had a great idea for at least one person(tho they're more of a PC gamer and I'm not sure how they'll take to it...but we'll see!).
-
Hope you didn't mind me jumping in on a few games there @Eenuh! Ended up spectating two of them before I even go into one with you(think your D.Va on R66 and a Sombra on Numbani; did that one join you in halfway??). Was judging the rest of the team quite harshly at first when I did get in but then I realised it was matching more to your level than mine so hope that didn't make it feel unbalanced or anything! How're you finding the game now you've had a bit more time with it?

I didn't catch up past episode 1 until last week sunday - smashed out the next 3 and watched episode 5(if my timings are right?) when it was on this week. I am absolutely loving this. I wondered what they might do or where they might go next after the stellar first series - and really this has not disappointed. Few predictable/obvious twists you can see coming, but also a few others that I just wasn't expecting. I'm really liking the direction it's going and the newer issues it's starting to touch on. Mia's relationship, Hester's awakening, Maxey, Niska, Bea/Karen - honestly it's really interesting seeing all these different angles of life for the original synths and those who are waking up too. It feels I guess in someways less focused on the core group this time round - but they were so well established in the first series I'm really not minding watching the different paths that 'life' is taking them down. (also caught up on How to Build a Human around the same time - very much enjoyed that too!)

Nice video - good to see/have a longer one too. Not surprised that his diagrams/categorising of the dungeons has evolved; I did previously think it was somewhat limited. Shame to see he's looking to wrap up as I think it's been an excellent series and there's many aspects of Zelda's design through the times that I'd love to hear his thoughts on. Having said that I'm probably equally excited to see him tackle other games/series and see how those go for me especially if it's not something I've played particularly much.

Ahhhh! I was wondering why I couldn't find the bloody post on the forum, it'll be because it was the Bro-verwatch chats - I'll message him on fbs or so!
