Is it just me that has noticed the sudden onslaught on Xbox 360 adverts everywhere recently? Must be worried about something. Can't think what though...

Friday is going to be the best day ever. It's a shame I'm not allowed holidays in December. But still, i have Monday off, so I'm all set for 2 nice days off Wii love!

I subscribe, and it's true. Pisses me off. I actually keep my issues, and i get annoyed if someone even creases them, never mind when it gets shoved through the letterbox and is actually bent out of shape! Although it does come early, I've had this issue for 5 days (roundabout) when it's supposed to come out tomorrow!

I actually prefer the style N Gamer use. It's better to have a lot of stuff to read that looks cluttered, than a magazine that had nothing in it because it wants to look cool. N Gamer really looks like a fan magazine, and that's why i love it.

They seem to ring at random, just ring them and ask, they should confirm it. Apparently, all pre-orders of the Wii itself will be fulfilled (at least in my store), but software is first come, first served.

They're both owned by Future Publishing, and they both gave almost identical scores. What made me think that there was a little bias was the fact that both magazines gave away Red Steel posters. Methinks theres some fishy goings on at future...

N Gamer. I've been reading that magazine since the N64 days, and it's just such a good magazine. It's the only magazine that makes you want to play the game when they review it. Plus, i always laugh out loud when i read. I couldn't recommend this magazine enough.

GAME Stockport has one apparently, though i haven't actually seen it. It's going to be usable from Wednesday. I must resist. I have to resist...

I thought it made it look very good. They seemed to think it was more a fitness machine than videogames, but to see the Wii on ITV really is something.

These adverts are really doing the job. My whole family really wants to play it when i get mine, and they really don't care about games.

I remember when my friend had this game, and he never let me lend it. I've always wanted to play it, because it looked so damn cool. Here's hoping it gets put on the VC.

Does that video just stall all the time for anyone else? Is there a way to download it? Edit:left it for a bit, it's fine now. I just want to have the Wii. I've watched too many people unpack it.

Is that for wired only? Because that would be annoying.

I think the whole console apart form the games is a rip-off. I'm still buying it because it looks great, but i think it could be made cheaper with no problems. Games-wise at launch, if they only had Zelda, I'd be so happy. I actually think it's good that they're spreading their big titles across the year. Edit:the most disappointing thing is that Nintendo led us the believe that the blue light was on all the time. it really makes the console look unique, and it actually looks a little dead without it.

My plan is get in at 7am, and instantly run the Wii Connect 24 update to see if my system copes. Then I'll jump straight into Wii sports with my mate/brother,after that I'll probably make a basic Mii and explore the menus a bit. I guess after that I'll play a bit on Rayman and Monkey Ball, then go round my mates house to play Downhill Jam. I won't be playing Zelda until I'm alone, because it would piss my mate off.

Looks like SSX3 again. I preferred that to it's sequel though.

I hope GAME will have that 3rd deal that Gamestation have, it would really be great, i need all the money i can get!

Is it just me that thinks that the faceplates look stupid? It seems odd to have such a contrast between the front of the console and the rest of it.

I'm scared of my Wii breaking, much like everyone else probably is. But the main thing is, my mum has become intrested in it through media coverage. If she swings too hard, we'll be a TV down.

I pre-ordered at GAME along with my friend, and he has been rang to tell him off a 6.30am openinig, and that he's guaranteed a console. Thing is, i'm ony one down on the list. Why have i not been rung? I gave them my number...

I'm undecided as to if i should go to the manchester Uni one or not. I don't really see the point in ruining the experience 2 days before. What do you guys think?

I won't be buying it, but it shows that the Wii can do much better grahically than most of the launch games have suggested. Let's hope they get the same results in a game worth it. If it has a full RPG mode, i'll take all this back.

Wow, sort of makes ours looks a bit rubbish! Why is there only Mario 64 on all the N64 ones?

I was on a friendcode sharing forum, and a guy kept posting news with links to revolution-europe. I liked the site a lot, so i bookmarked it. A few months on, i was going to upgrade my PC, so i asked the forum about it. It seemed like a forum that wansn't full of children (like the friendcode one), so i just started posting.

Apparently, my local GAME store are opening at 6.30am, so i'll just get up early and grab it with my mate, because they're saying software is first come, first serve. Then i'll just spend all day on it.
