I thought this also, didn't think it was worth mentioning because I couldn't explain it lol.

There are a lot of changes under the hood i've noticed. I do kind of know the original inside out so most of you might not notice lol. Some examples; Remote mines now bounce when thrown Knives are harder to aim Sentry gun laptops only have 50 bullets in them regardless of how much ammo you fill it with (Not sure why) If you keep walking you start to run (random) You can no longer change what team you and the bots can be on. Which seems a little odd considering there's 8 colours but only the option to have 4 teams. Admittedly I only tried this in online match not local. Still managed to play this for the whole evening with 2 friends online against 8 bots. Still as fun as it was back then, though we were only playing up until a few years ago.

Brilliant conversion. Played some deathmatch with bots with some friends. Well gutted you can't take a party online against other people though.

I'm working until 12 so hopefully it'll be up by then . Probably be jumping into multiplayer after a few single player missions.

This is coming out Wednesday. Couldn't be more looking forward to it. Apparently there are now some secret objectives for each mission which earns you a crown. Get all crowns for an achievement. It's amazing how much games spoonfeed us these days. I tried the Chicago level on my N64 the other month, I couldn't remember what you had to do and just kept failing. Going to hold myself back looking at a walkthrough and do it old school. Really looking forward to the multiplayer, nice simple fun. None of this camping on roofs with sniper rifle shit you get these days. People will actually have to have a proper gunfight!

I heard they were doing more. I think it'll follow in the footsteps of Fallout. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a few more. Every new area kicks me and my mates asses. We just found a random town full of midgets, all level 53, yet we still got owned. The APC car is amazing but still has its faults. The main shock gun is very hard to aim but its got a fair chunk of health compared to the other two cars.

Haha thanks for the overall summary. Yes I thought it was a pretty good deal. Though I did all my sales through Ebay because trade-ins are quite the joke. I got a tenner for SFIV and Sega collection, and around £5-6 for Devil May Cry and Sega Rally. Plus I got £5 off Bioshock with GAME points. Bargain. I own all of the good games off of the Sega collection anyway, the only reason I bought it was because I thought it was Xbox live compatible. They really missed a trick with that. Probably couldn't be bothered to put the effort into making every game online.

Yeh I went back and leveled up by completing the original on the 2nd playthrough. Only way I think, i'm level 56 fighting monsters who are also 56. Crazy.

Some more footage would be nice. I can't see them changing the 'floaty' jumping style. I think the Advance games were similar.

I'm balancing on the 3 mill mark barely. Probably can't take a major barrage of deaths. Been playing Knoxx with 2 other mates and it is so rock hard on the 2nd playthrough. We just drive through the roads, sod fighting anything it's suicide.

The last I heard of Ep 3 it was set in the Antarctic and involved Aperature Science. I can't even remember how Ep 2 ended it was so long ago. Portal 2 would be very much appreciated too. Oh and Counter-strike.

That's quite interesting. Would they bring Shepard back to life...again?? I really don't see how unless some Collectors made off with him before the explosion, unlikely though. It'd take a lot of effort to do Shepards storyline and this unknown characters storyline as well. Jokers not really a combat person.

Sega Rally, Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection, Devil May Cry 4 and Street Fighter 4. I know what you're going to say that some of them aren't shitty. The only decent one really was SFIV, but i'm not a fan of fighters so :p

Got this on Saturday, been playing it pretty solidly since. I'm enjoying it though I think it's a lot more action packed than the original. There are some great set pieces but the atmosphere seems to have taken a step back. Just doesn't seem to be many moments that have actually freaked me out. The stories pretty good though I miss Ryan. I basically started it on Hard and jesus it really is. Mainly because there's so little ammo and money around the place. I had to give up fighting the Big Daddies in one section simply because there was no point getting the little sister as i'd never have been able to defend her. That's something which I was concerned about when I first heard it and it has proven to be quite annoying at times. The online portion was fun but lag city. Shame really as it has a lot of potential. Overall not bad, considering I traded in 4 shitty games for it.

Yeh but the online is a bit of a farce and for a game, which is multi-player centric, it's a pretty bad oversight on the part of the developers. I do like it because i'm an out and out fanboy but if I wasn't I probably would be as unimpressed as most people. I'm still liking the single player, it's got a good atmosphere to it. The online is a really mixed bag. It hardly ever connects ranked matches and considering you can only get XP in those I doubt i'll ever unlock the skins/achievements. The player matches can be good but only if there's a small amount of people (around 8). Anymore and it's lag central. If they couldn't handle more than that why have it as an option? Unfortunately I don't think they even care about these issues, it's been out a week now with no fixes. Luckily Colonial Marines is in the hands of a more competent developer (Gearbox). Even though Borderlands does go a bit insane lagwise with 4 people, it's usually fine with 3 so i've a little more faith in them.

Oooh ok I stand corrected then. The DLC looks pretty good with the added bonus of being free. I wonder if there'll be more tank based missions other than these new ones. I was thinking to myself the other day about how the fight with the reapers is going to work. I mean it's doubtful all the battles will be on planets. If they're in space it'd be cool if there was a little strategy game involving the galaxy map. Like if you save a planet or something you have their fleet available to fight or whatever, just a thought. Perhaps too early to be thinking about that sort of thing? Maybe it'll just be that the side missions will be gaining the loyalty of/helping other species so that they can fight the reapers. You don't help them, they get wiped out and make your fight harder.

I don't really see the point in doing New Game Plus on ME2 anyway as you reach the level cap on the first playthrough. Unless you want to keep the face you created for your character I can't see a reason to unlike ME1.

I think it's going to be a while before I go through this again. Next time I do though it'll be on Insanity and i'll be buggered if I miss the romance and everyone surviving achievements again.

I spoke to Jacob all the damn time! What more do you want. What a goon. Also for some unknown reason Zaeed wasn't loyal even though I did his loyalty mission....what's that about? So yes, you guessed it, the fucker died. Good one.
