New DLC coming soon, 'Lair of the Shadow Broker', seems to involve teaming up with Liara to take him down. I don't really want his story wrapped up in a DLC though to be honest. Being late for a few of my GCSE exams due to 4 player Mario Kart 64 and Perfect Dark sessions. Links Awakening, incredibly underrated. I remember trying to do a glitch that supposedly teleported you to a secret room in the first dungeon. Was clearly a lie. Playing Super Mario Bros in the arcade and not managing it past the first level. Mario with a joystick? No. Trying but failing to complete Blue Shadow (Ninja Gaiden) on the NES, same with Snake, Rattle, N' Roll. More recently, spending way too much of my life invested in Fallout 3. I find the whole post-apocalyptic world weirdly interesting. Countless hours playing multiplayer Super Smash Bros/Melee.

I have been switching cars and it helped to a degree but the car I could possibly win with starts drifting if you get knocked by another car. I'll keep trying because there are moments when it really shines. If there's a sequel I hope this is addressed as I never had that problem with Pure.

I bought this because it was £22 on GAME. I must say it is really fun and had the potential to be amazing but it's let down really badly by the rubber-banding issues. It's getting to the point where it's taking the fun out of the game . It's literally becoming plain unfair and I don't get why when there must be a way to keep the game challenging without letting the computer opponents essentially cheat. Whenever I take the lead i'll get overtaken pretty much instanteously. This also happens even if you aren't in the lead. What's more annoying is you're not allowed a lead and yet the computer is. I've been trying to do a race where the computer leads by like 6 seconds nearly all the time and so I can't even take him out with a powerplay. I get constantly raped by powerplays from behind not helping matters either. Instead of this why didn't they have some way of the computer activating the odd powerplay from afar if you were too ahead? Almost like a blue shell MK style. That way you could even take out the computer should it get too far ahead. Maybe if half way through building up power you get a green one you can only use on the leader. It annoys me this much because this game can be so much fun. Activating a bridge crushing powerplay making you leader is so satisfying. Narrowly dodging a train in the face and watching it hit an opponent is awesome. Such a shame it's dogged by such flaws because at this rate it's putting me off continuing.

Right just completed the game but it seems i'm missing the 'California' stranger task. It never came up in my list as far as I know and it turns out it was ages ago near the beginning and I should have been randomly searching for it every few days. Does this mean now i've completed it I can't get it so can't get 100%?

Ah yeh course. Won't be able to judge it properly until I get some playtime.

I actually think it looks pretty good, very old school. Thing is I just can't control fighters with an analogue I don't know why and the D-Pad on the 360 controller sucks ass

I hope there's a demo for this before release. What are we looking at, 1200 points?

Who would've thought it'd be so hard to emulate a game this old, a game they made themselves no less. No doubt i'll probably get stuck in the 'it won't be right whatever we do' camp but that's not true. The physics still look like he's in outer space and this whole homing idea is just not needed. It's a shame really, if you can't do it right don't do it at all.

I'm pretty surprised it's Wii exclusive too to be honest. Unless this is paving the way for the original to be re-released on XBLA/PSN? I know which version i'd choose, knee skating ftw.

Hmm don't particularly like either name they came up with. To be honest when I play games it's usually for a bit of mindless escapism and to chill out. Last thing I really want to do after work is jump around. Even if they had it working with a FPS I wouldn't want to constantly hold up my arms aiming for several hours or keep ducking behind my chair for cover. This just doesn't do anything for me personally. I'm sure it'd be great for like party sessions and the tech is amazing but.....nah. Also the name keeps making me think of Lego for some reason.

Anyone getting connection problems on the 360 version? Mine would rarely connect to a good game and now it doesn't connect at all

I play Poker way more than the actual game it's quite bad. I do really like the atmosphere but what's with the treasure maps. How incredibly vague could they be. I have one with a picture of a mountain with (II) by it and in the same picture a rock and a tree labelled (I) in the foreground with an X by a stone. What the hell...I must say the multiplayer is all over the place at the moment. I connect to a game, get disconnected, back to free roam and more often than not it disconnects me from that free roam and tries to connect me to another! Only thing is it never does and gets stuck on the loading screen. Until this is patched I probably won't play much more of that side. Haven't really spent much time mission wise, I prefer just roaming around and exploring.

Considering the game has been in development hell i'm very surprised it's turned out as well as this. Then again reviews are one thing, individual taste is another.

Was just browsing Xbox.com and something caught my eye. I'm not sure if it's meant to be like it but I noticed in the description of some new Lips DLC there was this; "Purchase this Premium Song to add "La La La" as performed by LMFAO to your Lips library. You’ll get the song’s track, chart, lyrics, and original video." Now I don't know who the song is performed by but i'm pretty sure it's not that.

£29, i'll take some of that action.

£40 for a game where everyone sits in a corner and snipes. Nah.
