  1. Hoisted by my own petard. That's the thing about being a Nazi. You have to make absolutely damn sure you aren't fostering any Jews before you start out, or you'll look very foolish indeed.

    Hello

    Heeeeeeeeey Macarena!
  3. I like the spaghetti one.
  4. Just receieved this: On Orange for £20.50 a month. It so SNAZZY! You wouldn't believe the levels of snazz.
  5. Indeed it is. No problems there. The second one however, isn't. I was just joking though. This is absolutely the last time i attempt to be a grammer nazi, i promise.
  6. Teeeeeeeee heeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  7. I'd be willing to forgive that piece of wacky casting because the rest of the film looks so good. But yeah.....they're hardly long lost relatives, let alone the same guy.
  8. Seriously is this game like Mornington Crescent? Is everyone taking the piss? I just don't understand....
  9. I've seen all of them pretty recently apart from Hulk, so i might watch that one before Avengers.
  10. To be honest i'd just pay to see Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in the same film. That would be........Marvellous.
  11. Whoa. Just got back from playing Friday morning football. One of the guys there collapsed and had to be taken away in an ambulance. He was conscious (but not coherent) when he left though, he just had an arrhythmia so they took him in to be cautious. Worse thing was, no one knew his full name or any contact details. Hope he's ok!
  12. So you say that Shearer shouldn't win as his is too lame, but Lua Lua shouldn't because it's too far the other way?
  13. I fell asleep during the The Godfather 2, but to be fair, i hadn't seen the first one, so it may have been my own fault.
  14. Right, here's my choices. Best Goal Bergkamp - I could watch this goal over and over again forever. Incredible. Although i think some of the others might be better (Henry's or Cantona's) i still love this goal the most. Best Match Not really sure about this one, but probably the Newcastle comeback against Arsenal. Best Player I suppose this will probably go to either Giggs or Scholes, and either of them probably deserve it, but i'm going for Henry because he's brill. Best Save Since i can't vote for the actual best save ever ( , since this was in the FA Cup) I think i'll probably go for one of Schmeichel's. The first one. Best Manager Siralex definately. Although i think he should retire now and let someone else have a go. Best Celebration Lomana Lua Lua - Sometimes if i'd seen that he'd scored, i'd tune in to Match of the Day just to watch him celebrate.
  15. Well, like i said, you can suggest your own favourite game if you want. These are just the ones that are up for the awards. Generally speaking though, most people agree that the best matches are the ones with the most goals, providing it's not too one-sided. Especially if you are a neutral. I'll post my choices later.
  16. I'm just going to do a hearty CONGRATULATIONS for everyone above me in this thread. It seems easier. You know who you are. Just got some of the data analysed for my PhD and it's badass.
  17. So does this mean that your friend isn't engaged?!? *Dumps engagement cake in the bin*
  18. Hello, So the Premier League (that's football by the way) is 20 seasons old. And to celebrate they are having a vote to give out some awards. I follow the old BBC live text thing every day, and they have a bit of a discussion about it, so i thought i would bring the discussion here, and see what people here thought about who should win. There are 10 categories, but i might only post a few of them here (for instance I won't bother with best team, since most people will probably either say the one they support). So, the categories (and nominees are): Best Goal: MATT LE TISSIER SOUTHAMPTON 2-1 Newcastle United 24th October, 1993 MATT LE TISSIER Blackburn Rovers 3-2 SOUTHAMPTON 10th December, 1994 TONY YEBOAH LEEDS UNITED 1-0 Liverpool 21st August, 1995 DAVID BECKHAM Wimbledon 0-3 MANCHESTER UNITED 17th August, 1996 ERIC CANTONA MANCHESTER UNITED 5-0 Sunderland 21st December, 1996 PAOLO DI CANIO WEST HAM UNITED 2-1 Wimbledon 26th March, 2000 THIERRY HENRY ARSENAL 1-0 Manchester United 1st October, 2000 DENNIS BERGKAMP Newcastle United 0-2 ARSENAL 2nd March, 2002 ALAN SHEARER NEWCASTLE UNITED 2-1 Everton 1st December, 2002 WAYNE ROONEY MANCHESTER UNITED 2-1 Manchester City 12th February, 2011 Best Match: LIVERPOOL 4-3 NEWCASTLE UNITED (1995/96) 3rd April, 1996 NEWCASTLE UNITED 5-0 MANCHESTER UNITED (1996/97) 20th October, 1996 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 3-5 MANCHESTER UNITED (2001/02) September 29th, 2001 PORTSMOUTH 7-4 READING (2007/08) 29th September, 2007 ARSENAL 4-4 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (2008/09) 29th October, 2008 LIVERPOOL 4-4 ARSENAL (2008/09) 21st April, 2009 MANCHESTER UNITED 4-3 MANCHESTER CITY (2009/10) 20th September, 2009 NEWCASTLE UNITED 4-4 ARSENAL (2010/11) 5th February, 2011 MANCHESTER UNITED 8-2 ARSENAL (2011/12) 28th August, 2011 MANCHESTER UNITED 1-6 MANCHESTER CITY (2011/12) 23rd October, 2011 Best Player: Dennis Bergkamp Eric Cantona Ryan Giggs Thierry Henry Roy Keane Cristiano Ronaldo Paul Scholes Alan Shearer Patrick Vieira Gianfranco Zola Best Save: PETER SCHMEICHEL Liverpool 1-2 MANCHESTER UNITED 6th March, 1993 PETER SCHMEICHEL Newcastle United 0-1 MANCHESTER UNITED 21st December, 1997 JUSSI JAASKELAINEN Manchester United 1-2 BOLTON WANDERERS 20th October, 2001 SHAY GIVEN Sunderland 0-1 NEWCASTLE UNITED 24th February, 2002 TOMASZ KUSZCZAK Wigan Athletic 0-1 WEST BROMWICH ALBION 15th January, 2006 CARLO CUDICINI Tottenham Hotspur 4-4 CHELSEA 19th March, 2008 BRAD FRIEDEL BLACKBURN ROVERS 1-1 Manchester United 19th April, 2008 JOE HART Liverpool 1-0 MANCHESTER CITY 4th May, 2008 TOMASZ KUSZCZAK Birmingham City 0-1 MANCHESTER UNITED 27th September, 2007 CRAIG GORDON SUNDERLAND 1-0 Bolton Wanderers 18th December, 2010 Best Manager: Sir Alex Ferguson David Moyes Arsene Wenger Jose Mourinho Harry Redknapp Best Celebration: SIR ALEX FERGUSON & BRIAN KIDD MANCHESTER UNITED v Sheffield Wednesday, 1992/93 LEE SHARPE MANCHESTER UNITED v Arsenal, 1994/95 JURGEN KLINSMANN Sheffield Wednesday v TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR, 1994/95 ERIC CANTONA MANCHESTER UNITED v Sunderland, 1996/97 TEMURI KETSBAIA NEWCASTLE UNITED v Bolton Wanderers, 1997/98 IAN WRIGHT & NEIL RUDDOCK WEST HAM UNITED v Southampton, 1998/99 STEVEN GERRARD Manchester United v LIVERPOOL, 2008/09 JIMMY BULLARD Manchester City v HULL CITY, 2009/10 LOMANA LUA LUA NEWCASTLE UNITED, multiple occasions ALAN SHEARER NEWCASTLE UNITED, multiple occasions So who do people think should win? Feel free to mention ones that aren't nominated by the way...
  19. Where have i seen that before..... Oh yes:
  20. *Dies* *Is reborn anew, coming forth into the world with his spelling presumptions torn assunder* I still have no idea what fancé means...
  21. I like how you went into all the trouble to put the accent on that 'e', but then left out the 'i'... So close! EDIT: That's assuming you were trying to spell fiancé and not fancy.
  22. Happy Birthday! (What a strange day to have your birthday on...i mean what are the chances?)
  23. Yeah Transporter 1,2,3 and Crank 1,2 are all good, but basically the same film. I need to watch The Mechanic too. It's probably the same.
  24. Aaaaah, that's what that was! I was trying to sleep one night, and the guy upstairs was listening to this song on repeat. I could barely hear it, but i knew that i quite liked it. Sounds even better when not heard through a ceiling. Now i know. I owned Meteora, Reanimation and Hybird Theory, but then i kind of forgot about Linkin Park. Maybe i'll give this new album a listen.
  25. Hang on, hang on, hang on. The SAME MACHINE?!?! But that could mean-!? Maybe......no. Wh-.... What if they are the same guy(!!!!)
