Maybe we could add some more of the gaming ones we spoke about yesterday like "Best original music in a game", "Best new character", "Biggest surprise" (as in we didnt expect that game to be good but it was). Also are we not doing any like movie, tv show, album of the year etc?

I think im gonna stop reading comics weekly from now on. I miss buying a trade and not having read the story and that rarely happens for me these days.

Couple of things just ordered:

Went into Oxford with Goafer today to do some shopping in the sales, they were pretty terrible. Didnt end up buying anything so it looks like most of my stuff will be bought online this year.

Seems to be a good time for NE members and snazzy jackets!

Unfortunately I just tend to be way too polite in situations like this and as my sister has a child with him anything I potentially said would just make like more awkward in the long run.

I really do hate having to have my sisters boyfriend come round at Christmas, he just seems to drink and moan. This year he moaned at the meal not being enough. Asked to to try out a game I got for my new PC and then spent over 3 hours playing it on his own (and another 3 this morning) and sat sulking last night when he wanted to watch the Man U highlights but people were watching something else.

Got a couple more today from my dad and sister. An Idiot Abroad 2 DVD Total War 4 pack Watchmen graphic novel Table basketball game thingy

Does look like a good book, I might be interested in getting that at some point.

Just finished opening mine. This year it was mostly money which was already spent on the new PC but I also got: Chocolate Next Voucher Play.com voucher Dead Island (PS3) Chuck Season 4 dvd Socks Then tomorrow i'll probably get some more when I see my Dad and sister.

Its all downloads so it happens when getting stuff through Steam (I know that pauses when games are loaded but I do resume it) and torrents so far. Same with games, happens when I launch through Steam or just an exe. Ive gone through all the settings I can find, thought id fixed it when I turned off the setting to turn off the wireless card for power saving but no such luck. Ive done a search and other people do seem to have had this problem before with Windows 7 but there were no real fixes given for it. Im currently downloading all the stuff I can from Windows Update, see if that will help.

Been downloading a lot today and yesterday to get all my games and programs back for this new PC and ive noticed that when im downloading and run a game fullscreen my download speed will drop dramatically until I quit back out. Anyone heard of this before and know how to sort it out? Id like to be able to run programs while im downloading, never used to have this problem on my crappy laptop

Thats really generous of you thankyou but I think i'll probably just risk waiting for a while and get myself a nice big hard drive later.
