  1. I'd actually be interested to see the numbers for all of Nintendo's home consoles and hear if they were considered successes or not. I would only consider the NES, SNES and Wii to be successes personally.
  2. To be fair, Company X sounds like something a supervillian would own so I would expect them to be a bit shifty.
  3. Plus Sony actively explained how the hard drive was expandable and made sure that if you do switch out the hard drive then it doesnt void the warranty.
  4. http://www.shopto.net/video-games/ps4/PS4TH102-the-last-guardian :p
  5. If Nintendo cant go free online then I'm glad they're just going with the optional subscription fee. All the other ideas coming out of this thread sound terrible!
  6. I feel like I'm getting close to that at work today as it is!
  7. Maybe I should just get all three and work out a rotation system?
  8. See I do also like the Surface Book: And Dell XPS 13:
  9. At the moment I'm browsing the Internet at work while I should be designing an invitation for school alumni. In the grander sense, I've got no idea what I'm doing and I have a strong feeling that later on in life I'm going to be screwed.
  10. Because that doesnt feed my other addiction. Buying new tech and peeling the sticky labels off... :P
  11. It really is mainly boredom with Windows, not because I dont like it but I'd just like to try something new. As I said I tend to feel like this every 6 months and never do anything. I was just interested to see the differences and if it ever would actually be worth it.
  12. Just got back from helping take my sister's kids to school. She's been ill the last week and fainted at around 6am this morning so was really shook up and upset as it was just her and the kids in the house. She called an ambulance and they just said it'd be low blood sugar from the illness, anti biotics she's on and not being able to eat all that much. When my sister faints though she tends to fit quite dramatically so my niece was up and saw it which left her upset as well.
  13. Thats the other thing I guess. While I do have an iPad I doubt I'd ever switch to an iPhone so there's less integration for me. I currently have a Surface Pro 4 which tends to be used to meetings at work, the occassional design stuff if I want a bit more accuracy with the pen instead of using my work PC and lately its become my comic reader. Only light games like Bejewelled 3 as anything else I'll use my desktop PC at home.
  14. I tried playing 3D World the other week and struggled to get very far at all. Can't put my finger on what exactly was the problem but it didn't seem to hold up at all for me.
  15. I used to trade in a lot but that tended to be because I didnt have all that much money to buy new games. These days I'll get rid of some every now and again to clear space but it'll only be ones I know I'll never touch again. I still regret trading in all my retro games years ago though. So many good games that are actually worth some money now traded away for a couple of quid each!
  16. Does anyone here use a Macbook or some other Apple laptop device? Basically I'm just wondering what they're like. Every 6 months or so I get the urge to try something different. I've been a Windows guy all my life so I dont really know what Macbooks are like or what they do differently from PCs.
  17. It all depends on the game though doesnt it. You could argue that some games you buy now and then are constantly getting new content for them, sometimes free of charge. I remember some people on this forum being big fans of Splatoons roll out of maps etc to keep things fresh. Also I think that if day one patches were possible back then, then you probably would have seen them. I'm sure Perfect Dark devs would have loved to have had the opportunity to go in a fix stuff later.
  18. I got mine with DK64.
  19. PS4 doing well again: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-02-02-ps4-just-had-its-best-three-months-ever
  20. I think theres a difference with the tensions that sometimes come up in the Switch thread and most other threads but also dont forget that this isnt Rummy's section of the forum to moderate.
  21. Thats fine then if you personally dont think they should charge. I think the issue was just getting confused.
  22. Can you elaborate a bit more? Its just a bit confusing as its not really a debatable thing, unfortunately these things do cost money
  23. £25 seems pretty good. I dont know if I'll be bothering to pay for it until we get more details. It'll all depend on how necessary the mobile app ends up being and then of course if there are any games I actually want to play online. I'm not sure I actually ever played my Wii U online thinking about it.
