I really wish that Mega Drive Mini had turned out well. I'd love to have it sitting next to my SNES Mini. I'm really in the mood to play some Mega Drive games at the moment and can't be bothered to dig my proper console out of storage.

Sounds like the Evo tournament was pretty exciting overnight.

Coming up on 4 hours of Chrono Trigger and still enjoying it. I’ve just reached the end of time for the first....time. I also stupidly bid on an N64 bundle yesterday thinking I wouldn’t win but surprisingly (given how much came with it) I won. I was tempted to keep the win but thankfully I remembered my decision to just stick to certain eras for my collection and that has been working for me a lot better lately (as I can see with Chrono Trigger) so I apologised to the seller and cancelled the order. If an N64 mini ever comes then I’ll get that, otherwise I just need to remember before bidding that I’m not looking for more consoles anymore

If I was directing the first episode, just to fuck with people I would have the first shot be Picard walking up to a replicator and ordering a coffee.

Think I'll finally order myself an 8bitdo controller soon to use with the SNES mini and a potential Super NT. As I'm enjoying playing Chrono Trigger at the moment it would be nice as well to not have to sit at the desk with the wired controller to play it.

Now we just need the rest of you to play through it with us!

Ok i've tried this multiple times but never got very far into it but I'm starting Chrono Trigger again. Its time I actually played through it properly.

My only concern about getting the Super NT is that a lot of people seem to think they are ramping up to eventually build a system that will play other consoles as well so it might be worth waiting a bit to see if anything happens there given the price of the Super NT on its own. Som thing like the Retron 5 with an actual good build quality would be a day one purchase for me.

I’m also considering going the Analogue Super NT route.

To be honest I mostly wanted another way to use my carts as my SNES isn’t the most reliable and my Retron 5 is becoming a bit of a hassle to recognise them. The Supaboy seemed a good alternative as it’s a bit Switch-like as you can also hook it up to the tv to play it there but after watching a video review it looks like it has a bit too much lag when playing the games so I won’t be buying it after all.

I'm kind of tempted to make a dumb purchase and buy a Supaboy SFC for my SNES carts.

Looks like the Netflix CEO has confirmed that season 3 of Daredevil will premiere this year.

I played a shit ton of the first Tony Hawk demo, probably moreso than the actual game. Magic Carpet on the PC is another one that stands out.

He's given up half way there and just called the guy a pedo instead.

The problem these days is that it just encourages piracy. So many people have Kodi or alternatives so streaming pirated movies is even simpler than it used to be. Releasing the movie elsewhere first just means that those people will be able to watch the bluray quality version now through that streaming and then not bother purchasing/renting it later when it comes here.
