Actually, the quality of the console upscaling will blow away the quality of the TV upscaling. TV upscalers are quite often terrible. Which, is why you want to have your console set as close to the native resolution as possible. Many 720p TVs are really 1366x768, so setting it to that is recommended. I've heard you can do it with HDMI now, but before on the 360 only the VGA cable allowed for that.

You sell Dorf Fort short by just calling it a city building game. It's more like you are a Dictator controlling everything that goes on. Sim City is a city building game, Dorf Fort is hardly similar.

Actually, unless you break it down it's not much different. Some people go completely crazy over all the technical aspects of pokemons stats. It's how 2 pokemon of the same type and level can have drastically different stats resulting in one being more powerful. Sacrifice is to my knowledge pretty unique. It's a 3rd person Action RTS, and it may even be construed as slightly RPG. It's sort of mission based...except you choose your missions from 5 different warring gods, although eventually do to many missions for a rival and they won't give you any. Bonus is that earthworm jim is basically one of the gods, and someone else is voiced by Tony Jay. The most similar game I can think of is Brutal Legend.

I was really just no-ing the "Higher number=better". Then I listed the main differences of all 3. As for 32bit-64bit. When it comes down to basic computing the 3.25GB is more than plenty. As stated, his Mom will mostly just be using it for ebay. Since this is about her needs and wants and not yours 32/64 seems irrelevant. Win 7/Windows Vista however is a greater argument as Win 7 is much friendlier to use.

No, just no. The intel CPU is certainly not better if even the as good as. It's a pentium, not a core 2 duo. DDR2 vs DDR3 is just plain irrelevant. Most applications won't take advantage of the additional throughput granted by the DDR3, in addition to the fact that the CPU it's paired with really wouldn't allow the DDR3 to shine anyways. The speed is likely quite close to the same, but the graphics aren't much lower. The biggest difference is Windows 7 and the Harddrive is 7200RPM instead of 5400, neither are big deals. The difference between 2030 and 1200 is slight CPU speeds(and the revision one is a new process) and the same Win 7/HDD speed.

I'm sorry, but it's just not going to happen. It would be great to have sequels to those, but the members are just all over everywhere. And, these are the people that came from Interplay and Black Isle Studios, bug testing has never ever been their strong suit. Perhaps though Obsidian could do the series justice as they most closely resemble the old Interplay/BIS.
