Did ye guys know that Naruto is finally coming to UK tv? Thats (some of) the good news...the bad news is, is gonna be on Jetix so expect it to be heavily edited, it starts July 22nd and shows everyday at 6.30pm and 9pm. But better news is that the Manga is also coming sometime in the summer on a monthly basis, published by Gollancz. And Manga Entertainment will be bringing the series out on DVD and its expected (though not yet confirmed) that it will be unedited and also contain the orginal Japanese dub with English subs, Manga Entertainment hope to have the first volume (at least) out in time for Xmas 2006. This was in the new issue of Neo Magazine and also contains a nice 5 page feature (two of which are an interview american voice actor of Naruto and one page on the video games) on the series

Yeah i thought you might see a hint of Apocalypse somewhere, a possible set up for a second trilogy, espcially with Angel being in it as he becomes one of the four horsemen. I think the lenght of it came down to the director, he put too much action in it at the cost of some character develpoment...and still come the final fight there wasn't enough action (pyro vs iceman should have been at least 5-10mins long not just under 1). Why did Singer ever leave it? Rather(sp?) was orgianlly gonna do Superman returns...how the hell come they switched over? Singer built the film franchise, he did such a great job with 1 and 2, if he did 3 i'm sure it would have been at leat 30 mins longer and given the proper final send off. from doing 1 and 2 Singer knew what the fans wanted/expected i don't think Ratner(sp?) had that. Look back on it you can really tell there's another director behind it...

i have, it at the very end of the credits, i thought it would come in like a minute into them, like catch people as they walk out but you actually need to have known about it before hand cuz you have to sit through the whole credit reel. there was about 10 guys in the cinema last night who were thankful i told em to stay. The general opinion after the show in the cinema was that as a fan you'll be somewhat pissed by some of the things they do to some characters but i guess you do have to think of it as seperate from the comics and cartoon, if you think of it this way (i think) you find it was actually alright, though they could have made the final fight longer and more epic, it would have made the film about 20mins longer but it would have been worth it. Hope the dvd has loads of deleted scenes that make up for this *fingers crossed* if they made everything perectly true to the source material they'd lose the non-fan audiance and unfortunatly liberties had to be taken, same with all other comic-films. Though i still think X-men and Spiderman are the best adaptations there are.

Ok i just got back from it, and dispite my problems with some of the character background changes i really enjoyed and will prolly see it again tomorrow or saturday (i mean they totally wrote out that Juggernaunt was Prof X's brother, having him be a mutant and not get his powers from a magic gem i could understand but why remove that very important link). Anyway some interesting things happened before the film, cinema was packed all around you could hear fans talking about characters and expectations, when the trailers started you could feel the tension as people were all like "hurry up and start the film". And then when the trailers ended and the "film" started it was the WRONG one. They put in "When a Stranger Calls", the whole crowd was like "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!", lucky one guy jumped up right away and ran out to the staff and they got it playing in another 10mins. and there was a nice round of applause, film also got a round of applause when it "ended". On the clip on the end i seemed to be the only one in there who knew about it, and when people started leavin i tried to let them know, only one group who was sittin behind me listened, but they were very greatful i did, and we all gave a big cheer after it as for my reaction on the film, ....check spoiler box

yeah i too hope this will be more like Lylat Wars, that was the game the rumble pack was made for, i still have great memories of first playing that and the feel of teh big explosions was awesome. I think the speaker will be used in this for when Falco and co talk to you over the "radio" you hear it on the Wiimote. If the romour of the Wiimote having a microphone also is true that would be great for muliplayer dog fights, especially if you could like 10 players or more and have teams and you could talk to your team mates during the game.

well i'm watching X2 on dvd now, in perperation for part 3. It would be cool if they could do like is laned for Spiderman (a trilogy of trilogies) If they split things up like that it wouldn't be as bad if they had to change actors for any roles so long as the actors "completed" a trilogy, like how i expect the Spidy films to end up going. Also is there not going to be be an X-men 2.5 dvd? Like how when X2 hit the cinema they brought out an X-men 1.5 with extra features

No (unless the film makers have gone and screwed his backstory that bit more). This was a mistake due to poor reserch by some newspaper writer a few months ago.. i think it was The Sun. Anyway, in the comics Wolverine is like close to 200 years old, due to his healing ability it also slows his aging. This was hinted at in the 1st film, Jean Grey:He has amzing powers of regeneration, which also makes his age impossible to tell, he could even be older than you proffessor (or something like that) So if beast was his father he'd have to be even older and without a healing power to back that up its highly unlikely. Plus in the comics there was a special edition comic of Wolverines past which reveal his childhood and family, he has a father, a normal father...can't recall a name though. And yeah i'm very dissapointed Gambit has not made an appearence, all that Iceman - Rogue love story is so so wrong. Its also a shame Nightcrawler won't be back, it would have been good to see them go into his and Mystique's background (she's his mother). I think in the directors comentary of X2, the director said he'd like to go into that in the 3rd for the fans, but unfortunatly he's not directing part 3.... which is also something thats kinda got me worried

When you say that does that inculde the not changing of Juggernaunts "power-getting" background. Also has Collossus spoken in any of the trailers? Does he have a Russian accent (like he should) or an american one? He only said a few words in X2 so it was hard to tell. Not giving Pyro an Aussie accent in X2 was a big downer for me. Still oved the film though or course, but its the little things that eat away at the back of your mind (Lady Deathstrike being another background and power changer:angry:, i was looking forward to see her when i heard she was gonna be in it and they ruined her).

I'm gettin so hyped up for this After that i'm gonna watch Xmen, tomorrow when i get home from work i'm gonna watch Xmen 2 and then should be just about time to leave for the cinema. I got lots of hopes for this film with all the new characters, i hope they don't change Juggernaunts back story, though i have a feeling they might, ie: make him a mutant, which in the comics he is not. And i hope we get to see Pheonix in full blown flame pheonix mode, and Iceman in ice form

I don't believe Undertaker is actually letting himself be jobbed off like this. This better be leading to something big with Undertaker doing something amazing to get back on top...and back into the title hunt.

i'm not gonna bother ordering it, waste of money, and like i said before, we already pay for sky sports why the hell should we pay again for the PPVs? I can't remember all the matches but here's perdictions for what i do remember. Undertaker vs Great Kali- Undertaker for the win, i know they been pushing Kali and building him up but seeing as Undertaker hasn't been on SD since Kali showed up and KO'd him this is like a "return" kinda thing again and Taker never loses those. JBL vs Rey Mesterio (Champ) for the World "Heavy" Weight title: I reckon Rey will prolly win, JBL still has the US title and i don't see them giving him 2 titles. MNM (champs) vs Kendrick and London for the Tag Titles: I want MNM to retain, K&L are good but i don't see them making good champs, but OMG the Tag divisions have really gone to shit as of late, they need more (good) teams, what happened to the Mexicools? Only Supercrazy seems to left where'd the other two go?

I'd have to say the same as Nintendo Fan, that part on Tales of Symphonia had me so worked up, by the time i got to Yagdrasill i was so icthing to kick his ass for what had happened. TOS had many great emotional moments like that but that was the best due to the events that happen in, i think its because the characters are so lovable that you start to relate to them like you would your friends. Also the ending of Ocarina of Time (by this i mean from when you find the "7th" sage in the Temple of Time up to the end). When Ganon kidnaps the "7th sage" it made me angery, the cut-scene before the battle with Ganondorf reignited my desire to kick his ass six ways from sunday and the ending was just magical

now lets just wait and see how many rock/metal bands compete next year.... and congrats again to Finland, well deserved....now do Lordi have an album i can buy and is tonights song on single only or could i find it in an album?
