Jungle Book was excellent! Civil War was possibly the best MCU film to date! Disney master race?

Seth Grahame-Smith has departed as director of the upcoming DCEU entry The Flash due to creative differences with WB (and likely Snyder). There is reportedly an increasing amount of pressure on Snyder from the execs due to the somewhat disappointing critical and commercial acclaim of BvS, and an even bigger rumour now is that Aquaman director James Wan could be next to leave the DCEU. The beginning of the end?

That's the best entry into the MCU to date, by miles upon miles upon miles. Nothing to say, apart from that if you haven't seen this film, do yourself a favour and go see it. And then go see it again. I was very, very nervy about the concept of the Infinity War films a month or two ago; now I know that they couldn't be in better hands. And, oh,

Simple strokes for simple folks I guess?

Yeah, that's the American spelling. Like colour becomes color, centre becomes center... perhaps the guys we sent over initially weren't the best when it came to spelling On another note, I'm all for the IP; I just fail to see how it would help shift consoles in a way the presence of another big Nintendo property would have. But FINALLY we get something else original, I remember it had been a LOOOOOONG time coming when Splatoon came around. Let's hope they don't disappoint.

Great for Retro to be making a new IP. But this only further weakens the NX launch from where I'm standing, because regardless of how good the game could turn out to be, it won't sell like a home console Metroid game would.

Okay, so I haven't seen the film, I do so tomorrow night with my friends. But I'm watching TWS and I've had a massive coin drop which no-one has mentioned before in any speculation, at least to the best of my knowledge. This could be a spoiler, so

Not releasing before Christmas is an incredibly risky move, for many, many reasons that I think we've all gone into. One of the major pointers to this being a delay is that we were last year promised more information at this year's E3 by the late Iwata (may he rest in peace). I mean, his death alone left a massive void in Nintendo. What makes even less sense, though, is that we're seeing a game scheduled for an NX launch next year, the new Zelda game. With the informed rumours that porting games will be easier than ever this time around, the only viable argument for the delay seems to be manufacturing issues. Because we all know that Nintendo ideally needed a release before Christmas of this year.

...only 'alright'? EDIT: you sneaky little Ant-Man, you got me!

It says something that we could be looking at a Man City vs Atletico final, I mean wow. Europe has been full of surprises this season (minus PSG and Bayern winning their domestic league titles of course)

The Ultimate Edition of Dawn of Justice has been confirmed to be 181 minutes long, with over two hours of bonus features. Yowzer.

Well, I mean, a lot of the information on Pokémon Sun and Moon (or much rather the serious lack thereof) seems to be pointing to something at E3, so I wouldn't rule that out just yet either!

In relation to taking up the suit again in a solo film, RDJ teased ABC Nightline: I feel I could do one more.

I haven't been, but it's so dogged as to how some put up videos with thumbnails saying *SPOILERS*, but then the thumbnails ruin it anyway. Enjoy, and be sure to let us know what you think!

I am so hyped for this film! But I HATE that some YTers have already put up spoiler reviews/specific videos. I mean, come on!

That's absolutely right. So, question for you guys: how much do you think the NX will cost for us consumers at launch? Definitely going to be the first Nintendo console to sell for more than £300 at launch, in my opinion. (Then again the premium 32gb Wii U was £300, so that's really not saying much)
-
Just got around to reading their official tweet about the release: The next generation of #Nintendo is coming March 2017! #NX next generation Don't know about you guys but this definitely doesn't just feel like a change in home console. It sounds more like a revamp of their entire line. Hybrid or not, could they be simultaneously releasing the new home console and the new handheld? That would be bold. Very bold.
-
Can't help but feel the NX is going to have a marketing presence at the Super Bowl next year (February 5th). I think Pokémon's near pointless $5 million ad in the Super Bowl just gone shows that they may want to go down that route. Especially with it being a month before release? Makes far too much sense to me for them not to go ahead with a big Super Bowl presence.
-
This is downright weird. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited we finally have a confirmation on the release, but a March release is extremely weird. Some have pointed out that this is when handhelds are traditionally released, but we're definitely getting something new as our home consoles. I mean, they've slowed down Wii U production rapidly, haven't they? Super weird that they're missing out on the Christmas window, but then again, that slot has arguably been taken up by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Pokémon Sun and Moon, so really I think it's good business on their behalf. Why go head-on with the updated PS4K/4.5 and XBOX consoles, who are guaranteed to sell third party games that you may have got your hands on, if people already had the other consoles? Plus arguably the largest handheld game release and movie releases of the year? Stranger yet that we're only getting Zelda at E3. That's bizarre. EDIT: and wait, so NX is the official title of this thing?

Hell. Yes.

The trailer...was genuinely a little bit better. I was going to see it anyway, but I was getting X-Men 3 vibes before. Not so much now. Glad Wolverine is finally confirmed for this film, as is Magneto being Quicksilver's father in this universe. Hopefully they don't show too much in upcoming TV spots.

Ah, my Odeon does (it's still like a 40 minute walk away, but about 10 or 15 minutes in a car). And yeah, I totally care about getting seats in the middle. But for some reason you can't book a seat unless it's VIP/Premier, and VIP>>>>>>>Premier and is what, 50p more? Odeon just blows my mind in their own little nonsensical ways.
-
Supposed to be seeing this on Friday evening after a week of hardcore revision, BUT... My local Odeon STILL HAS NOT PUT UP ANY TIMES WITH VIP SEATED SCREENS (a standard we are sticking to after we fell in love with it at TFA, I mean the film probably helped but) F*** YOU ODEON I've emailed them twice and they said they'll let me know as soon as they're up, BUT, I have a feeling I should still check daily anyhow. Bleugh...

That. Sounds. Awesome! you were right next to Aquaman! Never been to a convention before myself, but I'm debating as to whether or not I should go to Star Wars Celebration in London for a day in July.
