  1. Shorty's answer is correct. You can delete both partitions and then leave it as one drive or create a new smaller / larger one.
  2. In a word it's awesome. But whatever you do don't touch the dubbed version with a barge pole. It's the equivalent of Marcus Phoenix or Kratos from GOW sounding like tweetie pie. Really badly done, and completely ruined the series.

  4. I'll hold you to it.
  5. RE: Any associations I would just check what is there for .exe really. I wouldn't delete them all. Also the person in this forum seems to have been having the same issues you are currently experiencing: http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/129270-rundll32exe-application-not-found/ (fix seems to be on page 3)
  6. Apparently you can fix this in XP by doing the following: Open Explorer Click Tools > Folder Options Select the File Types tab Delete any associations. Might be worth just doing the ones you're having problems with.
  7. Same thing happened to my uncle. ( Sans pokemon pic) I think you've managed to screw up the file association of your pc. Try this program to alleviate the problem. Worked for my uncle. This is assuming it's a Vista / Win 7 box: http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/231/1/An-Utility-to-Unassociate-File-Types-in-Windows-7-and-Vista.html If not try searching for the same sort of program for xp or whatever. Just to make it clear the file you want is at the bottom of that post titled unassoc_1_4.zip. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING ELSE!
  8. Hi all, just a heads up that the google I/O event officially begins tomorrow. So there will be tons of news around android. Perhaps some news about the next release ice cream and also where google and the OHA will be taking the platform in the future. http://www.google.com/events/io/2011/index.html
  9. Yeah that would be me. Glad it's working out for you. He's recently released a new fitness programme based around the same principles. Apparently he's kicked it up a notch too. It's called Insanity the asylum might be worth checking out if you get bored.
  10. This is all you need.
  11. People on Android forums have been recommending this one: http://androidforums.com/desire-accessories/66987-seidio-1600mah-extended-life-battery.html
  12. This resource might help with the underlying foundations: http://www.vivalogo.com/vl-resources/open-source-social-networking-software.htm
  13. I think unfortunately for HTC Qualcomm were just taking too long to get their dual core chip out the door and due to an agreement they have with them they couldn't just go tegra.

  15. Yeah I used to read it quite regularly. I think he shut it down on Monday even MCV wrote about it sort of verifying it wasn't an early April fools joke. I guess it's just down to the stagnant nature of the games industry. You can only make the same joke so many times before it just gets a bit sad. Will miss the blue skies in games campaign and the spach miel en frie (extreme sp) red theme they had a while back. The hatred for all thing sony was funny. One that comes to mind was when sony announced the price of the PS3 and they had an image of Kaz Hirai crossing his fingers.
  16. Would the keyboard be prefered in a blackberry style layout or slider? Currently available as a semi blackberry style phone that comes to mind is the motorola flipout (low end device). http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_flipout-3271.php For a higher end device the milestone 2 if you can find one. http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_milestone_2-3495.php Well in all fairness the new HTC phones are a bit meh. Processor updated to the latest snapdragon model with the 205 adreno GPU, and a front facing camera with a slight ROM bumpage, nothing to write home about. The galaxy S 2 however is something worth considering. Personally I'm waiting on the legendary HTC Pyramid.
  17. Ten10 has always been Ten10. Mainly commented on the main site posts in early 03 before eventually signing up. Managed to get the site blocked at my sixth form, but found ways around that. Thank you babelfish
  18. Seems like a cool story bro comment will land you in court after all: more: http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2011/03/geohot-site-unmasking/
  19. The concept of a dedicated facebook button is rediculously stupid, just something for lazy people. I guess for HTC though it is a perfect opportunity to market the device to tweens as a "facebook phone."
  20. I think you should try a 16GB card. I have one in my desire and currently have 5 films ripped from a dvd at around 1.3GB each. Tons of music, videos, photos and apps and I still have just under 5GB free.
  21. There are a lot of fake cards being sold on ebay. I would advise you to try elsewhere for a micro sd card. It may be worth looking at the following guide: http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/FAKE-SanDisk-Ultra-Secure-Digital-Cards-Exposed_W0QQugidZ10000000001254881
  22. There is that but then buyer's remorse hurts, hard when you pick up a device and everyone starts talking about the next greatest and biggest a week after you put your money down. As for the incredible S vs. Desire HD I'll 100% agree HTC is doing jack all in comparision to Samsung and Motorola in terms of pushing their second generation devices forward. Many people have likened HTC's S devices to be like what the iPhone 3gs was to the 3g. S as in speed but I think that is a moot point. The Desire HD doesn't have a front facing camera so video calling is off whereas the Incredible S does. But that does come at a sacrifice of 0.3 inches. The phone is expected to launch next month which will likely bring the price of the older Desire HD down so if you want to save on a contract it might still be worth waiting a few days. http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/news/coming-soon/htc-incredible-s Don't know at this moment in time if any operators or stores in Germany have said when they are looking to launch it.
  23. HTC Desire HD will be surpassed by the HTC Incredible S in a few months time so it might be worth waiting for that hardware upgrade. As for android market it's done through google checkout, which I actually don't like as you are charged in the app seller's currency (Don't know if this has changed) so if I buy a game for $.99 I get charged from my bank £1.50 conversion fee so my cheap 63p game has just cost me almost three times that amount. In the end I got a travel card and load it with cash for the market. They charge me about 10% of the final transaction.
  24. Ok this is a dumb app but I've actually been having a lot of fun with it. Consider it to be almost like Mii's but for android: http://androidify.com/
  25. So did Kevin Butler, so what's your point? (Ok granted it was a retweet but still)
