Hi moogle Google+ doesn't work with hotmail at the moment it seems. I've tried adding you email address if you manage to get in using it you're so lucky.
-
Well I was invited to google+ about 10am yesterday and I didn't manage to get in until 1am today. Why have I been giving out invites to you guys all this time for free..... I could be rolling in it like this guy: http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=benwalton&&_trksid=p4340.l2560&iid=160612667960&sspagename=VIP:feedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller He's made £27 so far.

I'll send out invites but you might not be able to sign up until the next invite period. Invite sent you can remove your addresses, you might not be able to get on for a few hours. Updated android app link for unsupported countries: http://db.tt/e5GnaNH

Use the send feedback button at the bottom of the circles page to suggest to google that they add this as an enhancement. I could see changing colours of some circles being useful.

Well I did it just confirm if you get it.

I love that vigilant citizen website. This is their sister site: http://secretarcana.com/ There was one post with a tom and jerry cartoon about the illuminati that I found somewhat disturbing.

Ok I managed to FINALLY get in. I'll start sending out invites tomorrow as I'm mega tired, but in the mean time you can PM me your email address (recommended) or you can post it in this thread and edit your post later (not recommended.) Also can you guy's confirm when you manage to get in please so I don't keep wondering if they're getting through. Link to the android app apk for unsupported countries: http://db.tt/QYysCZ0

I got an invite from someone to join but it still won't let me in. Once I gain access I'll share the love to whoever is interested.

Perhaps they will. Also there are people who have left facebook in the past over privacy concerns. Also I recently read that social networking information can be used by companies to screen potential candidates so if a company gathers that you're a layabout from your facebook updates no interview. Additionally people haven't taken well to big changes in facebook but it does seem that google has cracked the privacy problem facebook has. Many people have been fired from their jobs or destroyed a relationship from the dumb things they post on facebook. Consider the following:

Boxee is a fork of XBMC they basically do the same thing but Boxee is a little bit more user friendly. XBMC was originally a project focusing on turning the MS Xbox into a media centre. Xbox is no longer being supported as development goes on but works on windows mac and linux. Personally I think the boxee software is quite intuitive. Were you planning to otherwise use windows media centre from win 7 / vista? On the software front Ubuntu /(any flavour of linux) + boxee would be a cost free software solution.

Was going to post this on General but as it is currently invite only + beta it goes here. Google plus is google's latest attempt to beat facebook. Dare I say this is the social networking solution I have been waiting for. Below is some information about some of their most stand out features. More information on the Official Google blog: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/introducing-google-project-real-life.html

Could you not purchase a barebones PC with HDMI support and put boxee/ XBMC + linux / windows. I guess I'm coming at this problem from the software side. http://www.boxee.tv/faq http://xbmc.org/download/

Count me in on this one. I think Sky one also had a show about games that didn't suck (like gamesville did) Found it: Sorry to kind of thread steal but it brought back a memory.

*Claps hands* Ta da: http://www.augmentedplanet.com/2010/03/build-mobile-augmented-reality-applications-in-1-hour/ I was originally looking at Layer reality browser but it seems like wikitude would be a better starting point.

Start with app inventor? Starting android development is something I've been toying with myself although I'm not going to worry about it until after my holiday. Then I'll have to dust off the java for students book that I haven't looked at since starting uni almost 5 years ago.

I think in terms of the reliance iOS devices have on iTunes to do a lot of things is outdated. Somethings are mostly fixed with iOS V5. But the biggest gripe has been that you have to connect to itunes (currently) to start using an iPhone iPod touch, Macbook Air and iPad while really these sort of thing should just work. Input sim basic set up and go. Not sure about actually having a replacement for itunes that you can use. it would matter what you use it for. If it's basic music play back there is loads but for syncing music to an iOS device I'm not so sure. http://alternativeto.net/software/itunes/

I guess perhaps you'd have had to press all those buttons while turning it on thus going straight to the bootloader.

This whole time I thought it was add free and questioned how they could possibly be making money from it. Then I found out that leedroid comes with no ads built in. I'm gonna see if I can switch it off to help support developers. Whatever floats their boat I guess.

Well it require works but some people have given instructions in the comments & provided relevant wallpapers. Additionally a lot of the use the MIUI Rom as a base. Also if you hover over the sample once it's loaded it will tell you what widgets and fonts were used. Also read that some people have used launcher pro as a base as well as UOT kitchen http://uot.dakra.lt/

Just wanted to share a site with some crazy android themes. Don't ask me about how to acquire them though: http://mycolorscreen.com/

Got bored of MIUI quite quickly. I'd say it's all show no action. Was going to do cyanogen mod but opted for Leedroid instead. Quirky sense based rom. I'll probably stick with this one even when HTC finally release their version of GB.

Google maps as in navigation? If so it's not gonna happen. Also I'm sure BB must have a timer /stopwatch app in their app world. As for spell checking not too sure. Can't say I've used them before. But looking at the contents of my brother's blackberry messenger probably not.
