There's no need, once you move something, you can see the outline, and can even see a visualisation before you decide. Just like placing stuff in the beginning. Since you probably want some paths sround those buildings anyway, you can already place those in advance if you need more indication.

@RedShell, liked it for being a more or less straight forward level. Need to replay to see if you hid some stuff again, as I didn't find anything that stood out so far. What was disappointing is that most of the level is optional.. First clear was a bit underwhelming haha. @Dcubed, I like the effort put in the technical side of things. I ehh, played without sound, so I'll need to replay it some time with the sound on, judging from the comments above. Never played Balloon Fight back in the day, and didn't like it much from the few times I played it on the NES app (and never played Balloon Trip), so the nostalgia was lost on me. Although from what I recall from those few times I played Balloon Fight, you got the feeling right. Edit: Vote going to DCubed this time, mostly for being technically more impressive.

@Dcubed I'm never ever going to play that level in the intended way! So how did you upload it? Something to do with that trampoline at the start? (I have no idea how I got that to spawn). I got to the section where there was too large a gap to jump over, covered with blue off blocks, and gated by P-blocks.

Well, from a story perspective, it's all very appropriate of course, but I just don't like it from a gameplay perspective.. With these kind of things, you want to think things through, but you don't really get the opportunity to do so. You constantly feel rushed. Just to be clear, when I say "time" limit, I actually mean turn limit, as you technically get all the time you need to make a decision, but you have to clear each mission in a small number of turns. Often you will have to decide what you actually want to do in a mission, because you will have an objective, but there may be side objectives too, and loot (which you will need), and there are simply not enough turns to do everything. And this is coming from someone who actually didn't have an huge issue with the turn limits on some of those Xcom 2 missions.

It's actually an old game. I never gotten into it, even though on paper I should really like it.. It's basically Xcom with a stealth twist. The problem is there are (very tight) time limits, and I'm not really fond of that. I want to have the freedom to explore and see what my options are from a strategy point of view. But I must give it another try.

I wouldn't mind coming over for a fake painting later.

All right! I ehh, started this a bit last-minute! 8 O'Clock to be precise haha. So it's missing a bit of polish. In fact I need to add a 1-UP room for endless, because this is not going be fun for endless players haha. But I can't be arsed to re-upload another version, clearchecking this level is horrible! I initially wanted to something more complicated and more trolly, but didn't have enough ideas. So I did something simpler.. Thought a MetroidVania lite would be fun.. And it's not. I like some of the ideas, but it's too long and slow for my liking. It does contain lots of swimming. A bit too much perhaps.

Yeah, for other things I'd normally be in that camp, but I was just so excited I couldn't help myself, and even watched some analysis and speculation videos.. Can't wait to see how it all comes together. Anyway, I think it's going to end in 1 of 2 ways. This actually may need it's own thread, maybe I'll make one on releaseday.

And yesterday they released the official trailer apparently. I've now re-watched season 1 and 2 completely, and I'm ready.

Thanks for the real painting @RedShell! Gate's open. There's Celeste (near the pier I believe currently in the tulip field), Chops is making a tall lantern again i think, free clothes, and I put a few of my DIY recipes on the beach below the market. I'm going to be mostly AFK though.

Animal Crossing made me completely miss the trailer for season 3 of Dark, my 1 of 2 favourite series on Netflix. Fucking HYPED! Rewatching season 1 & 2 soon.
