Hmm. I played this on PC, but it didn't have a long lasting appeal for me. I suspect I found it to grindy. That said.. It had numerous updates since the last time I played, so on the other hand I'd like to see what the game's like nowadays. I did like the movement though. I played this a few times with @Deathjam probably, and I think someone else from the forum? Anyway, I may be willing to give this another shot on PC, but since this is free-to-play, I'll probably join in on Switch as well. Edit: Original thread

Now we have an official trailer. No concrete releasedate ("soon"). We do have a physical release confirmed! I'm only vaguely familiar with the series. But I love the artstyle and animation. 99% sure I;m getting this.

Just got home.. Oh wow hey! I just pulled that one out of my ass! Congratz Belgium! Yay! Edit: One more time, since it's warranted:
-
I have no idea. Without knowing exactly what's the current situation (Happenstance mentioning a goal), I'm just going to say 2-1 for Belgium. I believe in you my southern neighbours! It's fun to see a few Belgian flags displayed around here, since we're not in it. Anyway, I'm not a big sports watcher, to say the least. I would have watched this one, but my actual hobbies take priority. So I'm watching a screening of Grave of the Fireflies instead. One on my local cinemas is screening all Ghiblis they can get their hands on.
-
As far as I'm aware it's the exact same game story-wise, just that all the cg artwork is replaced with animated cutscenes.
-
Not going to watch the game, but I'm rooting for Belgium. Or as we Dutch say: Belgiuh.. Belgiuh.. BEL-GI-UH.
-
Night trap is up for sale by the way. To be honest, I kind of want it, but since it's not high priority, I'll probably skip it.

You don't "play" it. You create your own games with it. You're also able to create standalone games created by others though a separate player (presumably a separate player that's freely downloadable in the e-shop), but they're just that: standalone. So no previous experience should be necessary, although it could be helpful to get you started. I'm ruining your joke by giving you a serious anwser.

So some quick comments now the beta is over. I've played this much more than during the previous beta, and I got a good taste of the gameplay. And I'm liking it. I can see this being one of my go to multiplayer games when it releases. Being a beta, it wasn't without it's problems. I hope to see some optimisations in the full release, regarding framerate and loading times especially (though still very playable, not nearly as bad as some other (indie) games. But the big problem were the crashes during loading (almost all of the crashes I had happened then). Hopefully those issues will be fixed in the full release. I would also like to see more maps, but apparently that's not high on the wishlist of regular moba players.

That's exactly why we're asking for official ones.

To be honest, everytime I see something like this, I get the feeling I should just get off my arse and get back into coding, and be more productive. It's why I have a preference for Petit Computer, as that one's actually more educational in that regard (as in: more focussed on the coding part of creating games). Still though, I have an inherent interest in this kind of software, but I'm not familiar with the previous versions, so I'm not familiar with the general features. That said, I see one of the new features mentioned is actually a change to javascript to whatever they were using previously, so that's already a great selling point. If the rest of the features are great as well (easy sprite creation and animation, music and sound creation etc), I'm likely to get this just for fun.

Wasn't sure if this already had a thread either, can't find one, but wouldn't be surprised if the bizar semicolon use would sabotage a search. Anyway, the remake of the famous visual novel is getting a western release. It's a great story, and this remake is completely animated, mostly re-using animation from the anime. Aparently this has been delayed until early 2019. If you've never played a typical visual novel, this is probably a great game to get in the genre. I'm not sure if I'm getting this myself, I actually already have a collector's edition of the original English release of the original version of the game. And I prefer the original artwork. That said, I do want to see more visual novels get a western release, including the new visual novel in the same series. So I may get in afterall.

One more week. I have twenty games to play, but I am HYPED.
-
I'd prefer a pro controller with a proper d-pad, but I'd take it. I still intend to get that Hori stick anyway. And I'm finally gonna send in my pro controller to hopefully get it fixed.
-
I intended to create a thread for this one as well, but decided to wait until I had some official confirmation. Anyway, we can all agree we could use another fighter on Switch.
-
New visual novel from the creators of the Zero games. I have never played those (yet?), though I'm pretty sure they're up my alley, so I'm looking forward to this.

@Hero of Time beat me to the trailer, but I was searching if a thread already existed. I thought it did, but can't find it (if so, please merge). The online 4 player co-op action rpg from Inti Creates we've all been waiting for. Still no solid releasedate, but slated for winter 2018.

I am. I'm up for Salmon run, otherwise I'll probably going to play something else. A shame I missed most of it, but I hadn't eaten yet haha.
-
Just simply Turf War? I'll join you in a minute. But I'm going to eat when it food arrives.
-
Yeah sorry, it's going to be later (if you're still on). I just got home, and need to figure out what to eat.
