What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!

At least half the appeal (and for a lot of people a lot more than that) is making those terrible levels. That's why I also want Mario Maker. My interest in NSMBu is around.. 2%. Don't mind that one staying a Wiiu exclusive. I mean there's a small chance I'd stil get it, it's a Mario Platformer after all, but that would depend on other releases around the time of its release.

No way to normally dodge it then? That's a bit shitty. I knew about the evasive maneuvre, someone mentioned it in the thread, so I hung on to that ability for emergency escapes. I just didn't know that was a move where I had to use it. I also don't know the timing of the attack.
-
I don't even know what happened. I was anticipating an attack. I was moving away. I was even dodging. Still it dropped right on top of me and killed me in 1 hit with most of my health I believe.. Anyway, the game's fun, but feels unrefined. I'll elaborate when I'm behind a proper keyboard again. For now I've had enough!

Yeah I had no idea what I was doing as that harp guy..
-
Am I still in a session with you? Don't see anyone, though I'm still player 2.

So there's no true lock on? That zl + l does nothing for me? anyway, it takes some getting used to, especially with different weapons having different controls.
-
Didn't necesarily forget them, but I didn't check the item controls.. I only got that far because I bothered to read the top half of the controls you posted!

Last game for the 2nd super bonus. Then Monster Hunter.

Yeah, apparently I missed some updates! See you in a few minutes.

In case you haven't heard, someone turned 60 today.. So just for the occasion: Bonus track, the only thing in recent years I like: Never heard the original. -
So Salmon Run it is? What time exactly?

.. This is going to be my strategy. Just like in the DBFZ beta. Didn't work there!

I hope you have a lot of patience!

Wouldn't mind played the demo before or after Splatoon and getting myself killed online!
-
I'll check it out in the weekend. Is it multiplayer? If it is, could be fun to try out together some time, though there's also the Splatfest.
-
Oh wow, that's a relief!

Anyone up for some Thursday evening post Mario Kart league splatting? Splatfest? Though I think I won't be available at a convenient time as usual. I'll try Saturday afternoon. I'll be adventuring. I'm more of a city tripper guy, but I do a LOT of walking when I'm on holiday, so I guess adventuring is more like it.

I'm going to assume it's exactly like classic local multiplayer, except instead of local, it's online. So in SMB3's case you can join a friend and then play in turns after dying, and play together in the mario bros minigame.

What this does is make me want a VC.

Doesn't Okami have a thread? Anyway, this unboxing of the collector's edition almost makes me want to buy it. That outer box is glorious.

I'm waiting for the physical release. Will post here of course when I had some significant time with it. The official trailer for the game who you stupid Scandinavians associate with pigs: It looks absolutely stunning. Another instant pre-order for the art alone. And something else, a visual novel apparently:

For Europe, and its languages, they have standardized levels for this (A1 / A2 / B1 / B2 / C1 / C2). Years ago I looked into this myself, and I should look into it again honestly. Languages are generally useful, can't go wrong with learning one (and getting official certificates for it). Anyway, it varies per language and country where you can take officially organised exams. Generally you can look for international operation organisations promoting their language. Had a quick look. I forgot all the details, but what I quickly picked up: English: yes look for IELTS tests like Ashley mentions. Spanish: I think you're looking for DELE exams. Italian: not sure what the exams / certificates are called , but you should look for a local branch of the societa dante alighieri. Here they offer courses, though I think you can only take the actual exams in Italy? German: Again, not sure what the actual exams / certifications are called, but you should look for your local branch of the Goethe Institut. French: same thing. Not sure what the exams are called, but check the alliance française. Doesn't mean other schools don't offer courses that will prepare you for these official exams, but you may as well start with the organisations which officially promote the language. Oh and no, I have no idea what the Dutch equivalent is.

Nintendo Life isn't too thrilled about it. http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nintendo-switch/state_of_mind I have pre-ordered it though, I'll get it in 2 weeks (physical release is 24-08 I believe), so I'll see for myself.
