Mine is in my sig below, but for those who can't see it for reasons then it is @Jimbobthon. I mainly drivel on about random stuff, this morning it was about "On time Trains". And i tend to retweet ISS snaps, they are so damn beautiful.

Miiverse (A Link Between Worlds art event edition)
Jimbob replied to -Dem0-'s topic in Nintendo Gaming
Don't get me wrong, the Miiverse community is good and it had/has potential. But i dislike the lack of decent comments, it's all "images, drawn words etc" and many people simply saying "Yeah" to whatever decent comments are made. I'm the same, i just check to see what my friends are doing/have done online and i might leave a comment in one of the communities (maybe) -
I do hate Internet Explorer 6, doesn't display images so can't view the glory above. Until however, i check my phone. C'maaan October, come along quicker please. And i got the day off on release (October 4th), by co-incidence honestly. It's a late in work, and i dislike lates.

Miiverse is still going, sorry i stopped going on it. It's full of drivel. -
Yeah, that's a little iffy. Gotta be staged i think. Anyway, back on topic.

Five music acts you think everyone should know about

I don't know any obscure ones myself, but some songs i know are -
It was a decent race, ignoring Vettel. Felt a tad sorry for Raikkonen at the start, but he bought it back by the end. Anyone else getting sick of seeing Vettel always winning, or is it just me. Something i noticed with the Sky commentators today, they focussed on everyone but Vettel. And when they did go to Vettel, a cheeky comment made "Oh, i forgot he was still racing"

I can't remember if i was apart of the forums back then, tried a few old usernames i could have used to no avail. But from looking at the site, i can tell we've "matured" since then.

Everytime i've had dealings with Shopto, the game has arrived a day before release. Last game i bought was Pikmin, that arrived on the Thursday. So at the least, i'm expecting GTA to arrive on the Monday.

I was asked if i wanted to pre-order the top edition when i put an order down, i decided against it at the time. Now i see the model, and i'm glad i didn't put an order down. Getting ready for the game however, i dug out the soundtrack and i also found an original mini-guide i got with the game for free 10 years ago from GAME.

Yeah, i got the email as well. Ordered 2 copies, one for me (through Shopto) and one for a friend (through GAME). Had emails from both stating cards being charged early, hopefully means we get the game earlier as well.

The trailer looks a little meh. There are a few issues with the remake i have, aside from remaking the movie. And they've already been mentioned earlier, which are Why does his wife know Alex is Robocop, it would seem she decides to create him this time around. No shotgun scene or acid meltings, shame. Not being dead to begin with, so he has all his memories and his family recognise him (but to be fair, he had them all in the original but was "blocked" from accessing them). He's not a robot/cyborg, more like a chap in a suit (he's too fleashy, Darth Vader'y as i can describe it) What i liked with the original, Alex Murphy was a cop who was killed by a drug gang. He was dead when he became Robocop, and had a total body prosthesis. It had it's own feel to it, and it looks a lot better. Yes i know, we said the same with the remake of Total Recall and look how that turned out. Here's hoping (and i'm being over optimistic here), that this doesn't suck.

This. Sounds the most logical solution to the problem that could arise.

Gamers - What Are You Playing At The Moment?
Jimbob replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Still polishing off Dishonored's main story, then i intend to get the DLC done this weekend as well. Then maybe, back onto Assassins Creed III to finish the DLC before GTA V arrives the week after. -
Beat Comerade 3-1 today, 4 chances to his/her 7. I went out with such a weak/youth midfield/offensive line-up as well, a good result all the same

The smart move would be that the Xbox One detects from your old gamercard/account on the 360 that you already own the games and allows you free access to play them again. But as you mentioned above, this is Microsoft we are talking about.

Streaming for Xbox Gold members only!!!

But that is not the point really, it was cut from Wind Waker. 10 years ago, we got an incomplete game on the Gamecube. We had (and it's confirmed) a rushed Triforce quest as well. The issue is, and i'm a little miffed, is that for the same price as a new WiiU game, we get a remade/HD remake of a 10 year old game with little new* content to it. I was kind of expecting the missing dungeons to be added to the game (regardless if they were added to Twlight Princess already) and a more complete/fun Triforce quest to complete. *A new sail does not consitute as new for me. I was expecting it to be £29.99 at launch, it's a fair price for a classic remade HD game. All other HD remakes have not been £40 at launch on other consoles.

Microsoft are considering streaming 360 titles to the One in the same way as the PS4 is considering it. It sounds a good idea, and one i'll consider using for games i've not played. All other games i'l continue playing on the 360 as it will be easier and i'll have the DLC content as well.
-
£40 is a little steep for a 10 year old remake of exactly the same game, if it included the missing content then i'd understand the price-tag. Still getting this regardless though.

I've seen a few pictures, videos a few weeks/month or two ago. It was teasing me too much, so i stopped looking at them. I've also been distracting myself from looking at the videos, i can thank Olivia Newton-John, the chap who does acapella video game tunes and the L.A Beast via Youtube.

Had a fire alarm in work, was a nice treat. Yeah, not a lot going on today.

As it's been said, working in GAME over this holiday season will either be pandamodium or one of the finest things to occur. Sony have certainly got an advantage now, 2 launch dates either side of the Xbone launch. 8 years since the 360 launch, sheesh it's been that long already.

I think H.O.T summed it up right, i can more or less recall a heck of a lot of Retro titles over the modern titles. I've recently started replaying Super Mario Land, and i know where all the enemies are going to spawn from, the timing of some platforms etc. I can recall levels of Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Sonic the Hedgehog, Ecco the Dolphin etc. Where-as i can't remember a thing about some newer games like Tomb Raider, Max Payne, Hitman Absolution. Heck, i can't even remember GTA IV. But i have some memories of GTA San Andreas, so i suppose that will be beneficial to GTA V in 2 weeks time.
