  1. Actually no ( you cheeky git ) I managed to do it a couple of times in testing, but with it being on the completely opposite end of the checkpoint it just didn’t seem fair, so I changed it. You probably would’ve liked it, yeah. That’s a shame. Oh well, hopefully we get more contributors next month. Anyway, I’ve played yours and darksnowman’s levels now, but going to need a few more attempts at your level by the looks of things (surprise surprise ) before I can cast my vote. Good stuff. Don’t forget to keep that Baby Face streak going! He’s easy to find, but potentially difficult to reach this time around.
  2. I agree. Doesn’t change the fact it can still confirm whether a level can be cleared, even if the creator lacks the skill to do it all in one go. I just thought that with a theme based around autoscroll it makes sense to keep things moving as much as possible. Glad you liked it. Anyway looking forward to checking out your levels at some point today, do we really only have 3 entries (including my one) this time?
  3. Oh yeah! To be honest, I don’t think I ever did a complete playthrough on the red route (even on the clear test) but I can absolutely guarantee that I did all of the various sections that make it up, multiple times, so I know the red route is technically possible. If somewhat ridiculously impossible. Anyway, the level I just uploaded is completely linear, so no crazy stuff this time around.
  4. Ok, here’s mine: @Sméagol, I tried to add a bit more challenge to this one because you’re always complaining that my levels are easy. So yeah, if anyone finds it too difficult, you know who to blame.
  5. Same here, but that was always going to be the case this time, thanks to Animal Crossing. Anyway, I’ll get whatever it is I end up with uploaded by this evening.
  6. Yeah, whoever came up with this fishing tourney format wants a slap. What was wrong with the system of having it based on size? Hell, even the tournaments in Pocket Camp are better, as you can easily keep track of your progress and the rewards get distributed so that you don’t receive any duplicates before collecting the entire set. I blame Chip’s good for nothing son! I just knew he was going to be annoying. Worst new AC character by far. On the plus side, I only encountered 2 eggs throughout the entire tourney (made it to 300 points too) and I finally got the Cast Master Nook Miles achievement! Something which I had already completely given up on.

  12. Ok, theme will be autoscrolling. Not those type of stages where Mario moves without the player doing anything , just that the level itself must scroll automatically. Can use any of the different speeds and custom scrolling too, but the entire level must autoscroll, so if you plan to include a subarea that also has to use it. No other restrictions.
  13. Credits rolled yesterday and I unlocked terraforming. Have been messing about with it since then, but TBH I’m really not too keen on it so far as it just feels so awkward to use. Half of the time I end up adding/removing terrain or water from a section that I didn’t intend to, not helped by the fact it uses the same input for both of those functions. Also, while I never expected it to be a fast process, it’s actually much slower than I ever imagined it would be. Combined with the way relocation works, doing anything significant feels like it could literally take days if not weeks! So yeah, a little bit disappointed with it. Oh well, this is still a fantastic Animal Crossing game and I’ll no doubt get many more hours of enjoyment from it, even if I don’t end up doing quite as much with my island as I would’ve liked.

  16. Nice. I finally got Rosie to agree to move to my island today (after 3 days of scanning her amiibo and crafting stuff) almost didn’t happen though, as there wasn’t an empty house available. Luckily it provides the option for you to suggest that someone else is moving out, so I got rid of Sprocket.

  20. The rhythm game on this is kind of stressful for me. Got no problem with the rhythm, just the fitness! That said I managed to nab the N-E top spot on Jump Up Super Star: Just about. @Hero-of-Time (and the others on there), you’re done with the game now, right? There’s plenty of room to improve that score, but please don’t.

  22. 43 - 105 at mine today. Didn’t buy any Turnips on the first Sunday, but have almost 3000 to sell this time! Hopefully someone gets a good price this week.
  23. Thanks @Glen-i and @Ronnie (and everyone else that was present), that was a lot of fun. Such a shame the online in this is basically still the same as previous versions, with the exact same load breaks and interruptions though. Hopefully we’ll get a truly seamless online Animal Crossing game at some point in the future...
