Despite the general lack of enthusiasm for this version of Smash at N-E, I've got another bunch of GIFs here. Hopefully some of you will enjoy 'em:

I definitely do use characters other than Link, obviously wouldn't have collected all of the weapons on Adventure Mode otherwise. But yeah, playing as Lv.120 Link (+ Master Sword with the Evil's Bane skill) is a lot of fun :awesome: Can't wait to see how broken it is at Lv.150! Not to mention how crazy Ganondorf & Darunia must be at that level, seeing as they appear to share the highest strength value of all the characters.

I got the South Park tables after trying out the demo. Mr. Hankey multiball is amazing.

Yeah, I got the dispatch email from them yesterday evening (was hoping it would arrive today, but apparently not. ), should show up early next week though. Why did they even bother having a release date for the 2nd wave of amiibo, if every retailer was going to completely ignore it?

Well it's a real shame to see so much disillusion for this game here at N-E, especially as it's such an excellent entry in the Smash Bros. series (and potentially the last with involvement from Sakurai too!). But hey-ho. I just hope those of us that are enjoying it, will continue to play for quite some time yet.

That is absolutely ridiculous if that's the case. I always assumed there was just a delay, but went on earlier and got no reward. And then there's this... I've definitely helped your Link loads of times, so that pretty much confirms the needing to be online at the same time malarkey. Hehehe! No worries, I'm at Lv.120 now I think, so any stages with my network Link are probably going to be quite annoying to play through.

Cool! Looking forward to the reward. The network Link system is so strange, I remember thinking it didn't even work when the game first came out. Not seen your Link in my game yet, but I'll be sure to return the favour if it shows up. @VsPhoenix seems to be the only player that frequently appears on my map, and that I've helped more than once. Hope you're actually getting those rewards.

Falcon... Pics! Please. Would also like to know just how secure that support pillar is, and if there's a possibility it could be removed.

That has to be my biggest gripe with the game, the fact that outfits and items can't be transferred from the 3DS version so you have to collect 'em all over again. Even if you transfer a customised character that has all custom moves unlocked on 3DS, you can't use those moves for a new custom version of the same character on the Wii U. Doesn't have to be gifs, screenshots are welcome too! It is a shame how there's no option to export replay data just via the game though. An MK8 style YouTube system, or being able to render replays as video files to SD card would've been great. That's fair enough, the GCN pad is fantastic for Smash after all. :awesome:Whenever I go back to the Wii U Pro Controller for other games now, I really notice how loose the sticks are! Not sure if that's because I've been using a brand new GCN pad or not, but it's weird having to adjust.

@Sprout, that Dr. Mario vs Sonic match with nothing but the bumper item... ...I actually cried my eyes out laughing. Absolutely brilliant. Another classic. Messing with the item availability/frequency is pretty damn fun. I'm definitely up for more games tomorrow, oh... today. Time for bed. : peace:

It really is.Nintendo have hit the jackpot with amiibo, I can't wait to see what the future holds for these little figurines. An amiibo-centric game is surely on the way. One thing I'd really like to see is an Iwata Asks on amiibo, with pics/vids of their production. *dreams about thousands of amiibo moving along a conveyor belt* Audio

That's a shame. They should have made it so you can always join friends online (or at least send a request) regardless of who's hosting. Very true that. Nice. I gotta say then, chances are that won't change with this version. It's as mental as it's ever been, if not more so. Hope you can get into it this time though, as it's an amazing game. Damn. We need to setup some late matches at some point then so you can play. You should just give it a try, chances are you'll learn and improve much more by playing online. Good stuff. : peace:

You're clearly on another level compared to me, and I remain incredibly impressed with how well you can play as Bowser. Not sure about the no items thing that you're into (although most of our matches were with items, thanks to me choosing the rules not that they helped me much ) but yeah, was good fun. : peace:

The Mario amiibo I got from Amazon came in a huge cardboard box. Can't remember if there was any bubble wrap or extra padding inside that box, but there was definitely no damage to the amiibo packaging itself.

Yeah, reckon I'm gonna end up doing the same. Bit worried about getting Captain Falcon online though as it's one of the more detailed amiibo, and they seem to suffer the most from dodgy paintwork. Really looking forward to seeing the amiibo for Wario, R.O.B. and Duck Hunt Duo. DHD is obviously going to require lots of additional support though... I just hope they use the clear plastic for it.

I've not got the Link amiibo, waiting for Toon Link (much prefer the look of that figure) as he also unlocks the Spinner in this game and the Link Mii costume in MK8. Been scanning my Mario amiibo every day though, which has mainly given me 1 Rupee. Have got a few materials and weapons from it too though.

Anyone up for a few games? Can't believe how quiet it is in here...
