  1. If Nintendo wanted to be really cool, they'd add those Poochy stages/extras to the Wii U version via an update. Could even tie them to the Poochy amiibo, which I can definitely see myself buying.
  2. What is it?
  3. Hopefully online play is one of the "other game modes", not really interested in this otherwise, unless the single player mode is substantial.
  4. Loving the look of this, football in particular! Shame it seems to be toads and koopas making up the majority of a team though, would've been great if you could play using a team of 11 main characters! Is the developer known? I'm assuming Camelot is at least involved with Tennis & Golf.
  5. So is it not possible to create levels on 3DS and then transfer them to Wii U? That would be the only reason I'd even consider getting this really. Having said that, I can already tell course creation won't be quite as nice on 3DS due to it being cramped into the 4:3 touch screen. Anyway, still great that even more people will soon be able to enjoy the awesomeness that is SMM.
  6. Yeah, RPG fans are getting spoiled rotten on 3DS. I kind of zoned out when that stuff appeared in the Direct, but that happened more than a few times, so there's quite a lot on the way.
  7. Yeah, all of this extra activity for 3DS (especially into 2017) did get me wondering about the NX.It's great 3DS is going to be so well supported for awhile yet though, I really did think it was curtains for the system after this year. Mario Sports Superstars looked really good I reckon, way better than the Mario Sports game on Wii (which admittedly I never played) but always thought looked kind of meh. Proper 11-a-side Mario footy should be awesome.
  8. Wow! Nintendo might actually get me to buy a New 3DS after all. That was an amazing Direct!
  9. Rhythm Paradise Megamix will probably be in there too, even though the release is still miles away for us. Well, we all know Shibata is very capable of that.
  10. Nothing immediately stands out for me from that PS+ list (already got Journey) but that's probably a good thing seeing as I'll no doubt be glued to The Tomorrow Children from next week anyway.
  11. Damn. I'm actually starting to get a little bit hyped for this direct... It's more just the fact that we're getting a new Nintendo Direct, rather than whatever the content may be.
  12. And I get to use that GIF for a second time today.
  13. I never noticed this on the first mission or sub mission (pretty sure the sub mission only had 1 shrine anyway). But does that mean I'm gonna have to work my way back to the shrine that's near the last boss on the 3rd mission?
  14. The IN! list: ■ = always IN! punio75 Brian58 BowserBasher RedShell Wii nekunando S.C.G Nicktendo (maybe) ? ? ? ? Hmm... @Glen\-i, are you guys retiring too?
  15. They could be doing a much better job even without giving away physical items. I mean why not add digital downloads of game soundtracks? Or instead of discounts locked to specific games, just let us choose a game to apply the discount to? Wouldn't that make way more sense from a business perspective as well? Surely more people would actually make use of an unrestricted discount.
  16. At this rate I'm going to have to spend my points on Miitomo stuff...
  17. Mario Kart 8 definitely does use analogue controls. You can totally adjust the amount you turn by when using the stick or motion controls, whereas with the D-Pad it just flicks straight to the maximum levels.
  18. My top 10 for DS and 3DS retail games at the moment probably looks like this: NDS: Animal Crossing: Wild World Contra 4 Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland Jam with the Band Mario Kart DS nintendogs Rhythm Tengoku Gold Taiko no Tatsujin DS WarioWare: Do It Yourself WarioWare: Touched! With special mention to non-games, Electroplankton and KORG DS-10. 3DS: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive! Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX Kid Icarus: Uprising Mario Kart 7 Monster Hunter Generations nintendogs + cats Resident Evil Revelations Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Tomodachi Life would be in there too, but again left that out due to it being less gamey. Anyway, yeah it's super hard to call. I guess the DS just about wins though... Its Rupeeland/Rhythm Tengoku/WarioWare combo is just too good. At the end of the day one thing is for certain, both DS and 3DS were pretty damn fantastic in terms of software! :awesome: If the NX ends up with a similar selection, I'll be very happy indeed.
  19. I finally beat that boss! Well, with some help... Quite a lot of help actually. But yeah, glad to have made it. Especially as it revealed a couple of really awesome things:
  20. Having spent quite a bit of time with the PS3/4 pads now, they're actually pretty good.Yeah, the original Nintendo D-Pad design is better and I obviously prefer it, but it's not as big a deal as it seems. Would be very weird to see Nintendo drop the traditional style though, we shall see... eventually.
  21. Hehe! No you didn't. That is another one I'm looking forward to though.
  22. A big mainstream exclusive at least. They still got a big exclusive for me.
  23. 1 week to go. Still no word on the price of the Founders Pack in the UK though...
  24. Would be great if this is the case, as a share button is something I'd love to see on NX. It's by far my favourite feature of the PS4, and although I have a capture device anyway, it's so much more convenient having that functionality built in to the console itself. As for a split D-Pad, I suppose it'd be so it can easily be used as the face buttons for the other detachable controller when held sideways.
