Same.I've been contemplating trying to set up one of those StreetPass relays at home again, but it's a major faff. If only Nintendo would just enable the Mii Plaza to function via SpotPass as well. That's what they should've done from day 1 really, outside of Japan at least.

Why another Toon Link? That could've/should've been a rad amiibo based on A Link to the Past instead. They also missed a trick by not doing one modeled after the NES artwork too: Would've been so cool. Oh well, saves me a few quid at least.

The bit about the StreetPass Mii Plaza update and the choice of a free game made me laugh, like there was a choice there (no offence to anyone who genuinely prefers the stock market to slot car racing ). Just been playing StreetPass Slot Racer though and it is brilliant.

Played the demo, and within seconds I was grinning uncontrollably. Man, I just love the Rhythm Tengoku series. Liking how it displays your timing on the touch screen. Stages seem much shorter in this version though, unless it's just like that for the demo. At least Perfects won't be as stressful to obtain if they really are this short. Shame we still got a 2 month wait for this though.

Don't reckon there's going to be all that much to the New Leaf patch, so hopefully the mobile game will feature in this too.Nice to have another Direct to look forward to anyway. Keep 'em coming Nintendo!

Another fantastic surprise from today's superb Nintendo Direct. Reckon I might enjoy this more than any of the previous Pikmin games! Really love how it uses both screens too. :awesome: Doesn't seem to have been as much of that on 3DS as there was on DS, but it looks great across 2 screens, and gives a nice sense of scale to everything.

If Nintendo wanted to be really cool, they'd add those Poochy stages/extras to the Wii U version via an update. Could even tie them to the Poochy amiibo, which I can definitely see myself buying.

What is it?

Hopefully online play is one of the "other game modes", not really interested in this otherwise, unless the single player mode is substantial.

Loving the look of this, football in particular! Shame it seems to be toads and koopas making up the majority of a team though, would've been great if you could play using a team of 11 main characters! Is the developer known? I'm assuming Camelot is at least involved with Tennis & Golf.

So is it not possible to create levels on 3DS and then transfer them to Wii U? That would be the only reason I'd even consider getting this really. Having said that, I can already tell course creation won't be quite as nice on 3DS due to it being cramped into the 4:3 touch screen. Anyway, still great that even more people will soon be able to enjoy the awesomeness that is SMM.

Yeah, RPG fans are getting spoiled rotten on 3DS. I kind of zoned out when that stuff appeared in the Direct, but that happened more than a few times, so there's quite a lot on the way.

Yeah, all of this extra activity for 3DS (especially into 2017) did get me wondering about the NX.It's great 3DS is going to be so well supported for awhile yet though, I really did think it was curtains for the system after this year. Mario Sports Superstars looked really good I reckon, way better than the Mario Sports game on Wii (which admittedly I never played) but always thought looked kind of meh. Proper 11-a-side Mario footy should be awesome.

Wow! Nintendo might actually get me to buy a New 3DS after all. That was an amazing Direct!

Rhythm Paradise Megamix will probably be in there too, even though the release is still miles away for us. Well, we all know Shibata is very capable of that.

Nothing immediately stands out for me from that PS+ list (already got Journey) but that's probably a good thing seeing as I'll no doubt be glued to The Tomorrow Children from next week anyway.

Damn. I'm actually starting to get a little bit hyped for this direct... It's more just the fact that we're getting a new Nintendo Direct, rather than whatever the content may be.
