  1. I'd like to know that too. Have to say I was very dismissive when this mode was announced as compensation for the delay but I absolutely love it. While the demo levels are the same, you can see definite improvements and the challenges are brilliant with online leaderboards. Nintendo missed a great chance to give NSMB legs with a mode like this. Hopefully they'll do something similar for Pikmin 3 but I doubt it.
  2. Have you any more intelligent quotes like that? You really don't have a clue do you? No, I don't own either of those games and it's not like they're tearing up the charts but me not buying them is to blame for that. Not interested in Lego and while I love MH3, after putting over 800 hours into Tri, I'm still playing it online by the way, last week before the servers close. At this time I don't fancy investing all that time again in a new game right now. If you must know I own NintendoLand, ZombiU, Batman, Trine 2 and Little Inferno. So I've done my bit. I'm typing this on the Wii U right now. What a surprise, you responded to my post. Like you never ever always do that. Go bother someone else, you muppet.
  3. That's a real good quote there Iwata. You know what else would help momentum? A little thing called 3rd party support! Why don't you begin there for starters? What was that lesson you said you learnt again? Liars. Ye learned nothing.
  4. The Wii U is FÚ(KËD. It was from the get go. It has a list of problems as long as your arm. I've listed them all before. I took a tonne of abuse for saying what was coming but I see now some of the abusers have seen the light. This latest decision is just further icing on the cake. Those who think things can or will turn around are being delusional. This generation is a write off for Nintendo as far as the Wii U is concerned. It'll get by mostly on 1st party titles but it won't be pretty.
  5. What? Are you saying there's not even 1 title in the Top 40? No, surely that couldn't be. The Wii U is a beast in terms of sales, destroying everything in its wake. Stay classy Nintendo!
  6. Nice to see so many Wii U games in the Top 40. Awesome!
  7. You cannot be serious! Madonna is a skank who's turning into a man more and more every day and as far as I'm concerned her only talent is being able to walk on both sides of the street at the same time. That's not to say Thatcher is any better. They're both reprehensible creatures really.
  8. I never left. I'm always around the boards even if I don't make a post. I see my biggest admirer can't resist making a comment and obviously missed me. It should have been obvious this couldn't be true. As if the Wii U would get any 3rd party support.
  9. Thanks for that, ya big b0110x!!! :p
  10. Good moaning everybody! Glad to see everyone is in such a good mood. I'll add my bit shortly to this lovely discussion, just got to remove the last dregs of drink from my system first.
  11. Bring loads of money, you'll need it. This country is a rip-off.
  12. Anybody know what channels are showing Real Madrid vs Barcelona tomorrow? The game has been changed to 3.00pm kick off and I don't see Sky Sports showing it live. Their showing delayed coverage in the evening.

  14. Will do. Thanks and sorry.

  15. As originally expected, The Conduit is heading to Tegra-supported devices – including the upcoming Shield handheld. The Conduit HD will be pretty much like the original Wii game, though it will sport prettier visuals. Players will be able to take on the first two missions for free and will need to offer up $7 for the remaining seven. There will also be an option to purchase levels 3-6 for $3 and levels 7-9 for the same amount. It’ll definitely be strange seeing The Conduit on new hardware, but I guess High Voltage Software figured this would be a smart thing to do. http://nintendoeverything.com/114535/the-conduit-hd-confirmed-for-nvidia-tegra-devices/
  16. Should have gone to Specsavers.
  17. Who here remembers Knightmare on ITV? I loved that show growing up. It wasn't a show about video games but a show within a VR video game of sorts.
  18. You're so right, of course it's bullshit because you don't like the results. The lack of yes answers? What did you expect them to say? That they'd like to make a grilled cheese sandwich with it? Or maybe that they could play online games... no. That they could watch Netflix...no. That they can play Gamecube games...no. That they could transfer saves to SD card...no. That they can use the internet channel...no. That they can download VC games...no. Etc., etc., etc. It plays games. The End.
  19. Yes it's worth reading. It just goes to show that the majority of people don't really want to see or care about the Wii Mini.
  20. You'll need to be around level 87 or higher but go to Eryth Sea and go to the south of this map. See the Kromar, level 87 Stormy Belagon. Cross the bridge. It's not the 1st band of Kromar after the bridge, it's the last 3. There's 1 in particular that deflates your characters ego, encourage your characters during this battle. Save, reset the game and wash, rinse, repeat. It's a bit of a grind but it's the quickest path I found to perfect affinity.
  21. There's a little trick to getting perfect affinity between all characters.
  22. I think you can use most sets of 3.5mm headphones with the handsfree microphone. Haven't tried it myself as I don't have any online games yet.
  23. Just heard the news about MH3U. Brilliant stuff. I didn't want to but I think I'll have to seriously consider purchasing this game.
  24. Survey Says 74 Percent Of British Gamers Think Wii Mini Is Pointless VoucherCodesPro have conducted a survey which consisted of 1,003 British consumers to see what they thought of the Wii Mini which is coming to Europe on March 22nd. Interestingly, 76 percent of those who were surveyed thought that the Wii Mini wasn’t a very exciting prospect. The poll asked, “Are you excited about the Wii Mini announcement?” 76 percent said no, while the remaining 24 percent said yes. Those who said no were asked to give a reason, here’s the results: 1. Don’t see the point – 74% 2. No advance in graphics – 56% 3. Just rehashing an old console, not a technological advancement 49% 4. Small size not a big enough selling point- 47% 5. Already own an original Wii – 42% Those who were surveyed were then asked “Would you be likely to purchase a Wii Mini once it’s released?” participants replied: No – 61% Yes – 22% Don’t know – 17% “It seems that despite the release of the Wii U and with the recent announcement of the PS4 and the anticipated Xbox 720, Nintendo still felt the need to get in there with another release. Unfortunately for them, gamers just aren’t bothered; according to our poll at least.” “It’s an exciting time for gamers who’ve been waiting several years for the next big console release. But the Wii Mini doesn’t carry the same gravitas. With no anticipation of improved graphics and no real advance on the original console, is it the case of flogging a dead horse?” - VoucherCodesPro’s George Charles
