LEGO City Undercover - more details - famous landmarks, bridges and locales are very much inspired by places from San Francisco and New York - steal cars from other people in the city - one disguise gives you a grappling gun that you can fire in short bursts - perform wall-jumps, wall-running and vaulting - all this is done by pressing the same button in context-sensitive situations - follow white-and-blue blocks to hunt down new areas to access - if you break items and they can't be rebuilt, you'll most likely obtain Super Bricks - these contribute to building other things, such as pads capable of summoning vehicles - act 2 involves a mission to infiltrate a criminal organization by committing crimes - use your police audio scanner find bad guy activity - this is done by moving the GamePad around in real life, looking out for enemies and their conversations - listen in on random civilian conversations as well - eventually join up with a mobster named Chan - he has you distracting guards by finding the necessary items to start a nearby party - this involves stealing an expensive car and eventually escorting a VIP to a nearby event - this accounts for approximately one percent of the game - there is a quick travel system via Lego City's subways http://ie.ign.com/articles/2013/02/11/the-freedom-of-lego-city-undercover Wii U - LEGO City: Undercover Trailer

Aliens: Colonial Marines - Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen
Wii replied to gaggle64's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I was going to post that review from ITNewsAfrica - 7.9 but I didn't have time this morning. Now it's pulled, it was the first review I read. They weren't happy at all really with the game so I was surprised when at the end they still gave it 7.9. They said it was very generic, linear and they complained about constantly stopping to look at your scanner interrupting gameplay. The Wii U version shouldn't have this problem at least. -
Of course you should draw attention to it. It's a terrific game well deserving of praise and if you can't plug it here then where can it be plugged?
-
Thanks for the heads up. I don't know why that happened. It should be working now.

Aliens: Colonial Marines - Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen

Is there any chance the Wii U port will be any better seeing as Gearbox didn't handle it and it has more time to get things right before release? -
Darksiders lead designer pretty much confirms series’ end Sadly, Darksiders is pretty much dead. The IP was one of the few assets that THQ was unable to successfully sell off. Crytek did pick up a good majority of Vigil staffers – responsible for the Darksiders games – but left the series behind. Rovio creative director Patrick Liu tweeted earlier this week: “No more Darksiders! Whyyyyy Crytek…”. Responding to this, Darksiders’ lead designer Haydn Dalton wrote: “Tis true Pat…sometimes good things come to an end. That’s why you’ve gotta enjoy them while you can.” And thus Dalton confirms what we all expected at this point: Darksiders is gone. http://nintendoeverything.com/112763/darksiders-lead-designer-pretty-much-confirms-series-end/

Star Wars Pinball Will Be Coming To Wii U eShop Zen Studios, the developer behind the recently announced Star Wars pinball, has teased via Twitter that the game will be coming as DLC to the Wii U eShop game Zen Pinball 2. The Wii U version of the game was noticeably absent in the press release last week, but the studio says it will be coming at some point. The game will include three tables based around Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The release date for the game is due to be announced in the coming weeks. When a fan made a remark about Star Wars Pinball for Wii U on Zen Studios’ blog, one staffer said: “The force is strong with Wii U”. The employee later replied to another Wii U comment, noting: ”Details coming soon!”

Does your mate miss sitters from 2 yards out with his right foot?
-
I know that. My point is with sales figures like this, Ubisoft are probably nervous the game won't reach its expectations and delayed the game.
-
They'll wait until the summer now.
-
Just seen a stat that ZombiU is the only 3rd party title to break 200,000 in sales. I think there's only 2 others above 100,000. Make of that what you will.
-
Not today at least.

Neither have I. I'm right at the very end, at the no turning back point and I didn't want it to end. That was 4 months ago. Must get back and finish the best game on Wii.

This just in, it's been confirmed that Bale has no right foot.

Posted this earlier but put in the wrong link so I've deleted and reposted the correct one. Sorry. Watch this. It relieved some of my anger about the delay and it talks about Nintendo in general. It's reassuring and therapeutic.

That's crazy and yet whenever this finally ever manages to turn up we'll be asked to pay €50 in the shops or €60 on the eShop. How can they justify that?
-
So true. Take this advice @Caris The midriff is definitely the toughest area. A lot of times it can just be bloating. I suffer from bloating and I'm sure it's from wheat but I don't care and am not cutting it out of my diet. I know I'm super fit and I don't know if you're aiming for a 6 pack but I think it's just vanity. The only 6 packs I see is all the beer I drink every weekend. I know it's there, I seen it before Christmas but I had to give up drink for 6 weeks. It's not worth the sacrifice of giving up drink.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
Wii replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Nope haven't seen an ad for Nintendoland but then I haven't seen any Wii U ad since the New Year. Asymmetric gameplay, not a fan of it. They had to come up with that because they can't connect 2 gamepads or more(no chance) together yet. It's like 1 player has all the power and the rest are retarded. -
I've seen the petition to get this game released sooner but I think the damage is done now. The Wii U version has lost sales to the XBOX360 and PS3 versions regardless. I hope it bombs on said platforms and does brilliantly on Wii U but it'll probably end up DOA everywhere.
