The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Wii replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This is from the same Famitsu interview I posted on the last page but it's better translated and further expanded upon. http://www.craveonline.com/gaming/articles/788427-zelda-wii-u-looks-even-amazing-e3 -
Regarding the late deliveries of the Smash Wii U and adapter bundle. I think they arrived late at the retailers. Even on Smyths website where they leave everything to the last minute, the game was available to pre order the day before but the bundle was only available yesterday afternoon to order. I don't know what it's like in the UK but the impression I have is it didn't bolt out of the gates here in Ireland. There's plenty of stock everywhere. Nintendo has been bad here for a long time. Playstation owns the market. Per Capita, Ireland is one of Sony's best markets. On a side note, The Late Late Toy Show was on TV last night, it's a huge deal. @Mokong will know what I'm talking about. When they got to the console section, Wii U was on for about 20 seconds, never mentioned by name and guess what they were playing on it? The Wii version of Skylanders. What a disappointment, it could have been a huge opportunity for massive exposure. I'll see if I can find a clip. Minecraft was shown, I think on XBOX and PS4 got a lot of time and mentioned by name with Ed Sheeran doing some Singing game on it. Can't find any clip for the Wii U but you can see it to the left of your screen in the above clip. Skylanders? No mention of Wii U? Where was Smash, Mario Kart or Mario himself, Donkey Kong? Anything but what was shown. A Wii game box on display as well just to confuse people and in the tiny presentation just for good measure, they were using a remote and nunchuk while the gamepad sat on the table. It was a complete failure. Still haven't seen a Smash Wii U ad on TV either.

I noticed the other day that Tesco have stopped selling Nintendo products, period. They had a sale on the Wii and DS games a while back but now everything is gone even the 3DS. It's all PS 3/4 and XBOX360/1 now. That was one amazing partnership they had. I never once seen a Wii U product in any Tesco store. http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/nintendo-teams-up-with-tesco-for-wii-u-fight-back/

There wasn't a lot in it for me, some really cool bits but not enough. I suppose they made their point, tease...r.

Mine's shipped too. We don't get post here in Ireland on Saturday so it'll be here Monday. Already thinking of getting a refund.......and buying the adapter bundle. I haven't gone about this properly.

Bit the bullet and purchased it online. Thought I'd go into town today but changed my mind, I can't be sure it's not sold out so this is safer. If I'd known and ordered yesterday morning I'd probably would have it now. Oh well I'm patient and it won't be anything like waiting for games to arrive from WOW HD. Still want the GC controller adapter though.

In a bind as to what to do over this game. Smyths is the best price but they couldn't guarantee if there'd be a copy today until after 7 last night but when I rang back they never answered. I don't want to go all the way into town and find they've none left. Then there's that blasted adapter, I want that too but it's not available separately anywhere here so I'd have to buy the bundle. Could just buy the game online from Smyths and be done with it. It'd save travelling and that way I know I'll get it delivered on Monday hopefully. Curse them, their shoddy website and late availability to order(only allowed to order online yesterday). I could wait til Monday. And these Pics Of The Day are so disjointed at times. Still waiting for the caption and an inevitable second picture.

Sell it or just give it to me. Depends really if you have the Basic model you'll need to buy a hard drive or make some space if it's the 32GB model. I'd say that'll be hard regardless, it's heading for 20GB's in size on its own. Pic of the day. Congratulations to the European region where Super Smash Bros. for Wii U was launched today!! Today's post is completely off-topic though. It's the Wrecking Crew stage. When you make the bombs explode, the shock from the explosion transfers to the walls and destroys them. When there are only two panels or less holding up a floor, the floor will crash down, making the stage change constantly. You might get stuck inside a metal barrel that falls from above. Players can attack you while you're stuck, so get yourself out by mashing buttons.

Japanese Super Smash Bros. for Wii U amiibo commercial
-
http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=940858 I wasn't aware there was a trio bundle in Europe of Smash, the controller and adapter. Did anybody else know this because it's certainly not available in Ireland anywhere? I see now that the Smash and Mario amiibo has been delayed in some shops here until 5th December and it's way overpriced. The whole thing is a mess here. amiibo are well over the RRP and Gamestop I hate them are charging €65 for just the game. Brilliant, their site is down when I wanted to provide the link. €65 , 65 f*cking Euro? That's over£50 to ye over there. A disgrace, I hope they die. There prices must have changed because it was €10 higher when I last checked a couple of weeks ago.

Stealth Inc 2: Uncovered Part Four - Level Editor (Wii U)

They should really be part of the Hero Of Hyrule Pack especially seeing as they were ready prior to launch. I'd be guessing these are the prices if you just do an individual buy outside of all the other DLC.

On December 18th the following costumes will be available in Japan. These are the costumes that were exclusive to various retailers for preordering the game. They should be made available in Europe soon as well. "Courage” Costume Set – 400 yen – Includes Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time Link costumes “Wisdom” Costume Set – 400 yen – Includes Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time Zelda costumes “Power” Costume Set – 300 yen – Includes Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time Ganondorf costumes http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/zelda/update_1218.html That's 1,100 Yen for the 3 packs, or roughly €7.50 / £6.

The best games you'll never play again!
Wii replied to nekunando's topic in General Gaming Discussion
3D N64 games I'd say. They were brilliant at the time and still are but I don't think I could look at the graphics today. They haven't aged well at all. -
Pic of the day. Here's a basic size of the map for Smash Tour. The card suits and star marks are check points. You'll get a full-round bonus if you pass them all, and you'll get a strength bonus if you stop on any of them. If you look reaaally closely, you'll see that by rolling a 5, you can pass through the center of the map to the other end. This means that you'll have an advantage if you keep rolling 5s!! Trophies like Ashley's that slow down the roulette wheel may help you out here.

It's true though.

Both Nintendo and Ubisoft are to blame. Nintendo for the poor hardware and Ubisoft for not giving a sh1t.

Shame on you for not owning Monster Hunter 3 U. And Deus Ex. And Rayman Legends. And Resident Evil: Revelations. And Need For Speed: Most Wanted. And.......you get my point.

Pic of the day. In the Gamer stage, the stage set-up will change at random. Here's Mom appearing from an easel. You'd better stay on your toes. Mom even appears out of the TV. Sometimes she jumps out of it and walks around. It gets a little crazy. The guy in the far window is Grandpa, who acts as Mom's decoy. His wig is swaying.

It is just for friends matches.

I'm starting to think about this Gamecube adapter. It's really bugging me, I'm looking at my Wavebird controller and I'd love to use it as it's what I'm most used to but damn €20 for an adapter. €10 I could live with. There's no discount even for the bundle. Seeing no ads on TV for Smash. Watching the Champions League and so far I've seen Xbox One ads, PS4 ads, COD: Advanced Warfare ads and GTA5 ads.

How to Use Amiibo Without Completely Destroying the Box
