  1. The stylus is getting ready to draw them angry eyebrows. 2 little lines and the whole tone changes. Angry Kirby and the Rainbow Curse boxart
  2. North American Kirby and the Rainbow Curse boxart NOA have seen sense for once and just stuck with the Japanese boxart. The Americans very often get the lesser boxart compared to other regions. CT:TT being the most recently released example.
  3. http://nintendoeverything.com/hidden-palutenas-guidance-audio-clip-discovered-in-smash-bros-wii-u-data/ http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=952207 It's probably the audio clip that Palutena will use with future DLC characters.
  4. Zelda has had sci-fi elements right from the beginning. It's a thin line sometimes between whether it's magic or sci-fi. What about Links sword shooting beams? Link's been warping since ALTTP. Is it magic or have they borrowed a bit of "beam me up Scotty"? Teleportation while scientifically possible hasn't been figured out, but in the game is it real or is it magic? Telephones were in Links Awakening. Lasers were in ALTTP. There's tonnes of examples of modern tech in Zelda. It's a fantasy game, you're supposed to suspend your disbelief. I just enjoy the game, I honestly and genuinely can't think of a moment where I sat there questioning how something just happened.
  5. Wii U Winner - Game of the Year 2014 (GameSpot) What's peoples opinion on this and what is everybodys Game Of The Year? It's a tough call and I haven't played everything or enough of some games to give a definitive opinion. But what I will say about MK8 despite loving it there is a major fault with it that is completely ignored in the video. We have 2 modes in the game and 1 of them is completely broken and unplayable to me. Battle Mode. So that's a huge blemish in my eyes and would count greatly against it getting my nomination despite the great tracks, beautiful graphics, good online and brilliant DLC.
  6. I know but I'll find it somewhere second hand if need be. You can pick up Nintendo Land for €10 new. So there's hope. http://www.shopto.net/video-games/wiiu/WIIUNI02-nintendoland And I don't think CT:TT will set the world alight so I expect it to fall in price quickly.
  7. Ha Ha. I was waiting for someone to say that. I've got Smash Bros. Wii U to keep occupied. And over Christmas I'll make a start on Bayonetta before moving onto the sequel. You have to keep something for Christmas morning. So I'm happy. I'll pick up Captain Toad when it's in the bargain bin.
  8. I said I don't want it and I don't keep calling it a turd. Someone here keeps referencing back to what I called it. No prizes for guessing who. Only 3 shops left to buy Wii U games in Ireland. https://www.gamestop.ie/Wii U/Games/46669/captain-toad-treasure-tracker €60 http://www.smythstoys.com/ie/en-ie/video-games-tablets/c-743/nintendo-wii-u/p-6499/captain-toad-treasure-tracker-wii-u/ €50 And Argos in Ireland don't let you preorder Wii U products. It's a bit early for preordering on the UK website I see but I expect a price tag of €45. That's not a budget price.
  9. It would be interesting to see if images of this turns up on Christmas morning. It is a most bizarre release date. Whatever about the logistical nightmare of from manufacture to the finished product on the shelf what with the minefield of companies closed over the Christmas period, there's one business that's not closed. The Nintendo eShop. It definitely could release earlier on there.
  10. Good for them. I haven't told anybody not to buy it. Like you said everyone has their opinion. Some like it, some don't. This is mine. Enough of the melodramatics. One persons opinion isn't or doesn't scare people away from this thread. My point with the 6/10 was for some balance. It's averaging at around 80% which is very good and this is why. Should the 6/10's not be allowed have a review or opinion because they don't give it a glowing recommendation and will scare people away? If it was a €20-€30 purchase I'd have less of a problem with it.
  11. Said the last piece of the triangle to the circle. :p
  12. Has anyone stopped using their gamepad on this for fear of them breaking it? I switched over to the Wii U Pro controller and then the Wii Pro controller. I'm not comfortable with either especially the Wii U Pro controller, it's too cramped. Tomorrow I think I'll try out the Wii remote and nunchuk. That's what I used mainly for Brawl. I can replace a controller far easier than the gamepad.
  13. Don't mind Ronnie. He's really doesn't know what he's talking about but will always take the chance to have a pop at anything I say. http://n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1724960&postcount=840 http://n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1724966&postcount=842 Just 2 examples. And would you look who's thanked him in both posts. Part of the Trinity of Union. Thanked not because they're talking any sense but because they're having a go at me. A lot of sites have come out since saying that they believe that this is the full map and it's the common consensus. But Ronnie knows better than everyone else despite the evidence. Embarrassing. He's the only person on my ignore list but he'll keep mentioning and quoting me to provoke a response. So I hope on this rare occasion where I have responded that he likes how I've made him look quite foolish. Again.
  14. I expected to see the Union of the Trinity following Zechs post and without fail they've obliged. It's as predictable as night following day. http://www.gamesradar.com/captain-toad-treasure-tracker-review/ 6/10
  15. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/apparent-amiibo-manufacturing-error-gives-marth-tw/1100-6424190/
  16. Yes I do think it's funny. I also think it's funny that Captain Turd is wearing a nappy. Funny too that it took you nearly 2 weeks to respond to my opinion. That's all it is, my opinion. I don't like it. Big whoop, get over it. You're like a broken record. Sound familiar? You're the only 12 year old I see screaming. I told you before, go bother someone else because I just don't care.
  17. http://www.siliconera.com/2014/12/08/sin-punishment-2-art-director-designed-enemies-xenoblade-chronicles-x/ http://www.siliconera.com/2014/12/11/xenoblade-chronicles-x-director-introduces-artists-working-game/
  18. I've said it before and I'll say it again. We'll see Nintendo's next home console launch in 2016.
  19. Massive, massive thanks to @S\.C\.G for passing on my messages to Shorty. I'm hugely grateful And likewise a big thank you to @Shorty for sorting it out. I was gone 4 days. I thought it was Tuesday morning but no it was Monday morning. Can't remember when I was last gone a day nevermind 4. Curse them spammers but S.C.G is probably right, may be best to report rather than respond to them. They rile me though. Always seem to post early in morning when there's no Mods around.
  20. Would it be hard to port Mercenaries to the Wii U? They ported Revelations to the Wii U and I really enjoyed the game. I'd imagine it's the same engine, so would it really be that much work to do so? They have the experience now and seeing as we're not getting Revelations 2, it could be a tiny consolation prize for us.

  23. Mine is that Skyward Sword was a turd sandwich as far as Zelda titles go. Who's screaming like a 12 year old? Every post, really? You're laughable but so not in a hilarious way.
