The coverage of what they had was terrific what with the Treehouse stuff. But it was of what they had. For me there wasn't enough and some of it I've no time for. Pandering to the media? How's about pandering the fans? I miss the conferences and I want them back. I think it was @Hero\-of\-Time who had a thread of all the old conferences. Some of them were brilliant. The Twilight Princess reveal for me is still the best. And some of the last few were sh1tty, really sh1tty. Forgettable in fact. I think they had to find a way of making what little they had interesting and presentable.

I think I'll try the Pro Controller as well. The index finger on my right hand is killing me from MK8. I'll end up with arthritis.

I was berated by PS4 ads during the Ireland v Scotland game. PS4 console ads and the upcoming GTA5. Like I said yesterday, you don't see Nintendo partnering like that with 3rd parties. You don't see Nintendo full stop. Maybe I should have switched on Nick Jr. Nope, they're not anywhere.

Disappointing result obviously. Not a great game. Took one moment of brilliance from Scotland and we still could have snatched a draw at the end. Scotland were definitely the better side though. Some Irish players played well and some didn't, like McGeady, the occasion got to him. Hanley for Scotland should have been sent off in the first half.

That's the reason right there in a nutshell. Look at most of their ads, it's famillies, kids and young teenagers. Only this week they announced that they're launching a Nintendo Kids Club. http://microsite.nintendo-europe.com/nintendokidsclub/en_GB/ They most likely don't want something that will damage their wholesome, family friendly brand image. I've said it before but what's the point of parental controls if we can't use them for something like this?

Gaming should hang its head in shame. I really thought Bayonetta 2 would standa chance in North America. That's 3 for 3 territories. NPD sales data is breaking at the minute. NBA 2K15 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3, PC) Super Smash Bros. for 3DS (3DS) The Evil Within (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360, PC) Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (360, PS3, PC) Destiny (360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3) Skylanders: Trap Team (360, Wii, Wii U, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, 3DS, mobile) FIFA 15 (PS4, 360, PS3, Xbox One, Wii, PS Vita, 3DS) Madden NFL 15 (360, PS4, PS3, Xbox One) Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (PS4, XBox One, PC) Minecraft (360, PS3, PS4) I'm tired but Smash deserves a mention. It amassed sales of over 1.2 million.

No stamps... really why no new ones? (They're crap. They now since realised that they're lame but for consistency maybe they should have been included. That and you get no reward for beating a staff ghost time trial.) The Trophy design is well a bit bland compared with the originals. (Yes they are a bit lame but I don't care and never will unless they're a Nintendo Club reward.) Why no wheels for the Tanooki Kart? (Probably should be new wheels for every kart but it's mainly cosmetic so no big deal, plus stats don't change for new parts.) Why no glider for the Blue Falcon or Tanooki Kart? (Same story but I think you're right.) Hylian glider obscures my view a little too much. (A few gliders do that even before today. Take tonights theme for example.)

They could pay for third party support and if you say they shouldn't do that, well there's rumours that Nintendo had to pay just to keep the Wii U on shelves in some of the large retailers in the U.S. They could reduce licensing fees to the bare minimum or completely. They could make third party Wii U bundles. Have Nintendo sold through their initial production run yet? I don't think they have. I bet the MK8 Wii U bundle would have been red had they done so instead of that God awful gamepad skin. They don't appear to be doing anything. Did I hear right that there's no more Lego Wii U games coming anymore, that Lego Batman 3 is the last? They've had like a handful of 3rd party exclusives, including Sonic Boom which I hear by the way is a broken mess and that's another partnership that's finished now. I've asked this before but what exactly to the Nintendo executives do all day? Very little it appears to me. Capcom are in bits but I still have a little hope that MH4 will be ported to Wii U. Namco and Tecmo are paid Nintendo labour. They're not giving us any of their own good franchises.

And this is coming out next year? Or maybe he means E3 is the next time we'll probably see it.

I only need look at the last game I played cooperatively online to prove you comprehensively wrong. Resident Evil: Revelations. I played with people that showed me hints, where hidden BP was, tactics and vice versa. Divided a stage up to get faster times. Asked them to hold up while I reload, am gathering ammo or exploring. Through that game alone I have more friends gathered online than any other. Communication is key for some games, not all but most definitely essential for some. This is from a Nintendo only gamer so I've no comparison. Ignorance is bliss but from the little I've experienced done right it's made me think what else am I missing out on. MH3U is another example, though I find less people speak online in that.

Bet tomorrows Pic Of The Day is MK8 related(again). Nah, probably not because they did it today which seemed a bit strange.
