Bayonetta 2 has been nominated in the most prestigious category of Game of the Year at this year’s Game Awards 2014. Bayonetta 2 is joined Dark Souls 2, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Hearthstone and Shadow of Mordor. Mario Kart 8 has made it into the Best Sports/Racing Game category and Nintendo are in the Developer Of The Year category. Shovel Knight is in the Best Independent Game category. While Smash Bros. 3DS and Bravely Default are up for the Best Mobile/Handheld Game award. Both versions of Smash Bros. will duke it out in the Best Fighting Game category. There's more to be seen. There's ways around things if they really could have been bothered. That's what some have speculated but then the argument has been made that games like Bayonetta/2 has graphic violence and tonnes of sexual poses and near nudity and that's allowed to be littered all over Miiverse. Conspiracy? Cop on to yourself. I said it's another reason to like the game. Way to make a giant leap and pathetic attempt at provocation but then I expect nothing better as it's typical of you. When's your 3 Amigo club membership up for renewal?

I think at this stage they'd take that figure for the lifetime of the Wii U version. Still it's a hugely impressive sales total and it's probably still selling today.

Possibly, I know the game was released only yesterday officially but some people got early copies and there's still no reviews up on Metacritic. There was one and it was given 50%, can't remember who it was but it's since been removed.

All things being equal which they're not but the probability of both girls being the first 2 eliminated is extremely low and yet it happened. It's not a big deal but it is something I noticed.

The 8 player aspect is good. I just don't like corny Kinder style ads. And do the new Gamecube controllers come with extra long cords? I used extensions on the old controllers but I just see long unbroken cords.

They're not cheap here in Ireland. They're in Smyths at €15 a pop. i just know Gamestop will charge more, they always do. There's no pre orders in Gamestop or Argos, well not online at least. They're not as good quality of production either compared to Skylanders and Infinity. Also, some are cheaper and some are more expensive depending it seems on complicity, whereas Nintendo amiibo are €15 regardless if it's Kirby, simple design or Starfox, more intricate. It doesn't look like they've much of a plan so far. They're just shoehorned into various games. Creating a dedicated game would be more useful but provide a bigger risk.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - 8-Player Smash! (UK Ad) I'm disappointed Nintendo have just gone with a copy and paste ad for all regions, I don't like this ad. They put more effort into the 3DS version of ads. Notice there's 2 girls in the video? They're also the first 2 K.O'd as well. Sh1t and sexist. Way to go Nintendo.

I take it that the embargo must be until the 21st to cover the European launch. Over on the IGN forums, it was hinted at that it'll be around a 7, maybe just slightly less. Even if it's a competent port, the full retail price, non inclusion of DLC on disk and it being 6 months later than the other versions will affect its score. That and its hype is dead.

I thought when I first plugged in the adapter that it might be automatically detected and switch over. What you need to do is: go into internet options, choose connection types, then click wired, it'll run a testing internet connection and that's it, job done. It bypasses everything else like entering passwords and SSID.

Well give it time. If Ubisoft had been more forthcoming we'd have better comparisons. The PS3 version looks like it's been bleached or seen a ghost. The game's out now and there's no reviews on Metacritic. I'm sure it's no Sonic Boom but what's up with all the secrecy and embargoes?
