  1. SMG had a deep storyline?
  2. That fan art looks like a mess, actually. Seriously, I own all 3 games and I've finished all 3 and I don't even understand what's going on in that madness... There are more tasteful ways of cramming up a lot of stuff into a poster/cover, and that ain't it. For good examples check the vintage Indiana Jones or Star Wars posters.
  3. What the fuck...?
  4. Definitely make it harder. But for me, I would like especially this one thing: no more than 3 stars per each world. Or at least, if they have to have 6 stars in a world, then make each star very different from all the others, like they did in the Desert World of SMG, which was one of the best in the game for me. I just want more variety and no Galaxies like the the Bee Galaxy or Beach Bowl.
  5. Well, when SMG came out, a Miyamoto said something about a lot of ideas having been left out of the game, but that happens with every game ever made. That may be where you remember it from. That percentage number, though, I say it's bullshit. Part of SMG2 is material and level ideas that didn't end up in SMG (not because they sucked or obviously they wouldn't be in the sequel either, but because SMG already had many, many levels, of the 3D Mario games SMG is the one with the most levels), but how much percent it is, I say it's unknown. And the number 95% is a bit ridiculous, IMO.
  6. Back in the day? That was yesterday, as far as I'm concerned. Back in the day was the days of the NES. Anyway, yeah I do remember yesterday, and it sucked. Nintendo consoles are meant to have more than just one Mario platformer. I don't understand why is everyone so "sad" that a new SMG is coming out. So many people cry "too soon", "repetitive", "possibly boring". I mean, wtf?? What kind of gamers are you guys today if a single game wears out a whole new idea alone? How can a second SMG be boring, if it was the first of its kind? Why do you want to wait longer to play a new Mario game? I wouldn't mind one every year! And don't worry, Nintendo have lots of gameplay and design ideas to make great levels. And they don't usually rush things.
  7. I know what you said. And I said it "wouldn't". Get it? Maybe to you, then.... Not to me.
  8. SMG. And no, it wouldn't be boring, are you fucking nuts? There's only one SMG and a second one would be boring? Please, GTFO.
  9. Finally, a Mario sequel. I hope they make a 3rd one too. You can never have too many Mario platformers.
  10. Yeah, I have the first one for Wii and it's great, but this sequel stinks to me. Looks more like Scarface (which didn't appeal to me at all) than a Godfather sequel. Also, but less important, the graphics really look meh. It's a 360/PS3 game and yet it looks like a Wii game.

    Sadness

There was a time when I believed in this game and was one of its biggest defenders. I stopped believing last year or something. What, 3 years on and still only words and promises of the "best game evah"? Yeah, right.

    Sadness

Yeah, ask him why do they still bother with this hoax.
  13. Lol. Ok, let's see something here. First of all, pictures can't really be used (although I'll use one of a pair of jeans further down my post ), because you're looking at a computer monitor. You have to look at the console for yourself. I just looked at my N64 and it indeed is not the traditional black like my TV controller is, or the black leather chair I'm now sitting on is, or indeed the black logo the N64 itself has on its front. One would have to say it is definitely clearer than black, and thus dark grey. BUT, there is a but. And this brings me to the black jeans. Those jeans above are called black, although they clearly are not. I personally own 3 pairs of black jeans, 2 of them are "true black" and the other ones are like those ones above, which would be grey. But we call them all black. The N64 could fall in the same category as those jeans because frankly, saying "my dark grey N64..." sounds a bit stupid. So my opinion is, whilst the N64 is not technically black, it can be and indeed is reffered to as black.
  14. Don't be cheap... I did, you didn't. This is over. People find it so hard to admit being wrong on the net, like it's any threat to their personal integrity. And please don't reply I'm making that same mistake myself.... that would be ultra cheap. And probably daft...
  15. Ok, but I never said they had the same design, I said they had the same shape. Why would anyone say a handheld and a console have the same design? I always used the word shape, you imagined something that wasn't there and refuted my statement, which I maintain. People on the internet should really think a bit more about what they read, mate.
  16. Hmm, I don't know, I really think you might be mistaken, cause I remember the first time me and a few mates saw the console and picked it up, we really thought it was super small and super light. Since it was so powerful we expected a monster. It's smaller than both the original Playstation and the Sega Saturn, if I remember right. I have my N64 right here, I just don't have the PS or Saturn to compare it to. Really? Just look at it. It's the same damned shape, man. I just don't remember the name of that shape now... It's a squeezed in rectangle. Same shape of a famous cookie I don't remember the name now, too. Look at the GBA and look at the front panel of the 360. And look at the cookie, if you know the one I'm talking about. Same shape. Undeniable fact.
  17. The N64 too big? Never thought I'd read that anywhere... HDD installing with NXE ended the noise problem, that's not an issue anymore.
  18. It's funny but that's the shape of the front of the 360, which you claim to look nasty.
  19. Ultimately, no, because: But, yes, it does "matter" a bit. It's not a system seller or system breaker for me, games are, but I do like things that look good to me, as does everyone. Nintendo's consoles have always looked good, yes, even the GC. The GC only looks bad in purple or those other drunken colours. I have the grey/platinum one and it looks great. The black one also looks great. A cube shape for a console might be questionable design, but it does not look bad. Having said that all Nintendo consoles have looked good till now, I have to exclude the american SNES from that group. The american SNES just might be the ONLY console ever to look worse than the PS3. It looks like a lame Lego montage by some 5 year old. The 360 looks good lying flat, but not vertically. Lying flat, those inward curves make it look a slicker and feel great when you dust it or pick it up. Shit, it's hard to find pics of it horizontally! The PS3 just looks like a fat slob, real nasty. Not a chance in hell to make it look good in any position. The Dreamcast was sweet, I agree. Really cool design. It was Nintendo inspired, obviously. Looks like a mix between the SNES and the N64. Ultimately, it doesn't matter, you don't play looking at it, but every product wants to have a good image or rather should want (PS3...?).
  20. I do, but that's not what I meant. The phrase itself is pathetic hype. Even if I didn't own a 360 I'd find it stupid. If you have something in the works, let it do the talking once you show it. Make a decent trailer or teaser. That builds up hype more effectively. Remember the Sadness fiasco? Well, that shit never appeared and yet it never truly died. But it's just pathetic hype.
  21. I don't listen to hype anymore. Just show it and be done with it. Hype is all bullshit. "A very rare game, even on 360"... My comment to that is: lol
  22. Amazing stuff, love the colours! They look like magazine scans to me. Of course it'll look much better running live.

    Fallout 3

Come on, just hearing that robot babbling about chinese communists is enough to brighten my day.
  24. You only get the infrared scope after you meet your first Regenerator. But it's shortly after.

    Fallout 3

In my opinion, Big Guns isn't useful at all, unless you plan on tackling the Super Mutant Behemoths. Other than that, Small Guns is the way to go. My weapons of choice throughout the whole game were the Hunting Rifle (awesome from afar), the Combat Shotgun, 10mm Pistol (I prefered the Silenced version) and an assault rifle (be it the regular or the chinese one, which pack more punch). Also the scoped weapons such as Sniper Rifle and the .44 Magnum (or the more powerful version Blackhawk which you get for completing a special part of Agatha's Song). Of course, that is my style, and this is a game which each player will play in his/her own style
