Played the first couple of levels on Adventure Mode Wednesday evening. Seems like a good no-brain-game, which is great. But, and this is a weird complaint, it seems to simply have too much content! I'll never get around to play even half of what's in there.

But... SF64 3D actually looks better? Or at least equally as good.

I've had serious trouble finding it for even this price over here so as I like to own my games digitally (they don't take up the physical space and to be frank, games aren't that pretty to have in an apartment (she says)), I caved in. I'm going to play it after my supper.

I just bought it on eShop since it's on sale. Looking forward to playing it tonight!

For me, it's two things: - I'm probably not going to use the new characters that much (perhaps except Lucas), and they almost certainly won't make me put more than an hour or two into the game at the moment. - The game came with 45 characters from the beginning for a price of about £30 (I think it cost about £40 on eShop where I bought it). Then £3 seems quite expensive for 1 character... I think half or 2/3 of the price would be fair, and levels should be half at most! They would easily make money on the DLC even at half price (yeah, yeah, it's a business, if they can sell at this price it's better for them).

This is too expensive for the value it adds so I won't buy it, unfortunately, I would really like to have it but it won't make me play the game more, I think. Compared to the Mario Kart DLC this is ridiculously expensive for what it is. I think half the price would be fair.

I hope they make a package with all DLC characters as buying them all individually would be rather expensive. Here they cost about £3 each...

... I'm sad to say that I've been playing this for the better part of 40 hours. More likely closer to 50 than 40 now. It's good. And I've put no real money in it as well.

This makes me sad. The Nordic Top 20 best-selling games last week, where Splatoon launched, looks like this: How the ... can Fifa 15 still sell more than Splatoon and GTAV?? --- I still haven't bought Splatoon, don't really know why as I had fun during the first round of testfire. I guess I didn't have enough fun to actually buy the game but reading impressions and hearing people talking about the game makes me want to buy it. Today is also a good day to do it as my girl friend's out of the house tonight so I could get the TV to myself all night.

Hah, no, I don't think I could stand watching it for that long.
-
That also bothered me but I explained it with time travel as well.

This is awesome, everybody should watch this! ... But I'm glad that it was only 30 minutes.

I gave my answer to my boss yesterday: yes. So I'll be starting September 1st and only for 2 years rather than 2.5 as I could avoid some introductory courses because I already have a master's degree from university. Hopefully I can manage to take two courses at the same time (15 ECTS) while maybe going down in working hours on the job (from 37 to perhaps 32 or 30) so I'll get time to do everything. I had to cut down some things like gaming and training so that will be at a minimum for the next two years but hopefully it'll be worth it jobwise, moneywise and happiness-wise.

I feel I'm really doing fine at the moment, even though I occasionally still feel my groin injury. Thus I've cut down on doing WODs with explosive movements and am doing a lot of strengthening instead, which is great. Backsquatting 5x8 at the moment with 75 kg. Did it today and had enough energy left for one more round but didn't do it as I had some overhead squatting and other things left in my programme. OHSquatting is hard but such a nice exercise! Next week it's 5x8 again but with a 2 second pause in the bottom of the squat. This is killing me so I'll be doing it with about 70 kg instead of the prescribed 75 kg. After this I did some deadlifting, not following a specific programme here, just inspired by stronglift so I did 7x5 today: (1)95-(3)98-(2)100-(1)102 kg. Really feeling good about it, my grip is getting really strong - did all of them without any locking in my fingers. Didn't do this today, but I'm also rehearsing my clean & jerk. Squatcleaning 5x5 is about 55 kg, and my 3RM split jerk is 60-62 kg. I don't really like the split jerk as much because it's asymmetrical but other than that it's a really awesome lift!

That was awesome in some very strange way. It was also nice to see the characters in everyday clothing.

Wow. My boss just offered me a master in IT from IT University in Copenhagen. It will be a 2.5 year's program that will end up giving me a(nother) Master's Degree. Completely free, but any time spent on it is free time, meaning that I have a full time job (37 hours a week here in Denmark) and a half time university study on the side. From others I've heard that it will amount to probably 15 hours a week at most, so it's quite demanding on my spare time. Also, and this is the reason for turning the offer down (if I do that), my girlfriend and I have started the talk: marriage, baby, all that. She is just now finishing her university studies, becoming a medical doctor in two weeks and starting up her first job in two months. So the timing is both great and horrible. I know that it might be available again in a couple of years but then there will definitely be children and that would complicate stuff as well. I genuinely don't know what to do but I'm extremely flattered by getting the offer!

He looks very, very cheap. More like a bad cos-play. Hopefully they do something with the light so it doesn't look so bad. Also, I thought he wore a silver tie but it is his chest. Christ.

Damn. I wish I hadn't read some of those things about Caitlin later on in the show. But funny you ask her that, I've been wondering the same!
-
Damnit, it actually looks good. I really hope that they keep it short and to the point instead of dragging it out too long. 10 episodes max.

Wow, it actually looks quite good in some sense. I had certainly expected worse! Will watch it but probably not while it's running. I'll wait for the whole thing to be out before starting it. Maybe even wait for it to hit Netflix!
