You're just jealous because you're not associated with poshness!

Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - What little I've heard of it makes me very very excited. After the slight disappointment of Etrian Mystery Dungeon, I'm eager to get back into the best Pokemon Spin-off series.
-
Secretly, Pilot Mario is the best Mario. If only for the "WTF?" factor.
-
Yeah, these are best tackled on a repeat playthrough, once you have more weapons and a better understanding of how combat flows.

Some bloke on Miiverse just pointed out that New Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario 64 DS are now rated PEGI 12. No doubt due to the Luigi casino mini games, but think about it. New Super Mario Bros is as edgy as Pandora's Tower! Super Mario 64 DS is more unsuitable for children than Trauma Center. It's more adult-orientated than Gates to Infinity, a game that involves suicide cults and straight-up murder. They're both as dark as Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow!

SURPRISE!

They're not. But Partners in Time has a final boss that most people think takes too long. I think they just suck, because not once has it ever lasted more than 10-15 minutes, all three forms and cutscenes. Bowser's Inside Story probably has the longest final boss out of those three, but that seems to get a free pass because of how cool that fight is.

You know, all this boss whining is starting to sound like the final boss from Partners In Time. I swear, once I get this, if I blitz through them, I'm gonna be very disappointed in you.
-
Second one takes place on Christmas Eve funnily enough. Try and get the double pack if you can, they're both great!
-
Is it Smash hype? Because that's a perfectly good reason. I heard prices have skyrocketed on eBay though. Good luck!
-
Nope! Grumpig is pretty simple to get! I could do that with one or two free plays! Charizard and Heliolisk are gonna be right pains though. Exactly, which is why no-one likes it. Except me. And other weirdos. After all, Garchomp is clearly the most loved Pokemon, because everyone used it to death.
-
OH MY DAZE! Why are you not playing Z!? You're interested in this, but won't play Z? You're nuts! NUTS! If only this update made the damn game reasonable, I'm on World 5 star, and it's still bloody impossible!

It's a shame you didn't jump on the Black Friday eShop sale. It got a pretty decent discount. But that's in the past now. I don't know how similar Pokemon Shuffle is to P&D, but I can guarantee it'll keep you busy if you like Match-3 kinds of games. I sunk over 200 hours into it. It just got an update as well, no idea if it did anything meaningful though. EDIT: I think it's adding new transformations and enemies to the Mario edition, if only it retweaked the difficulty...

Depends. I don't mind grinding if I feel like I'm willingly doing it and it's relatively easy to do. Actually, a brilliant comparison of good and bad grinding comes packaged in one game. Puzzle & Dragons Z + SMB edition. P&D Z is an example of good grinding. The monsters you collect are very simple to level up using certain areas that boast high exp, yet easy to kill monsters. You can even use monster eggs you don't need to get more exp. After the credits roll, it's not unheard of to get a monster from Level 1 to 99 in about an hour or 2. And the game never really requires the player to grind to at least see the credits. Team Build and move execution will take you further than any grinding will. Of course, you'll have to take my word for it, because none of you played this fantastic game! The SMB version on the other hand is just awful when it comes to grinding. It takes hours just to gain a few levels, insane difficulty means grinding is absolutely necessary, and it just feels like a slog. Oh, and this is the one that N-Europe peeps played... Typical.

So, I've been playing with Cloud quite a bit, and I think I'm just about ready to give my impressions. - He's like Ike, but tailor made for me, emphasizing maneuverability over sheer force. - Limit Break helps Cloud stand out from other characters. It really forces opponents to constantly attack you, which I imagine a good player could use to force mistakes. You can't leave Cloud alone, or he's just gonna charge the limit. - He lacks reliable killing moves, apart from the limit breaks, obviously, but they won't always be available when you need them. I think this is a good thing, because he's pretty agile and can do some good damage quickly. - His recovery without Limit Break is worthless! It's almost as bad as Little Mac's! On the flipside, it's a good attacking move and it becomes amazing with Limit Break. - I like Blade Beam! A fairly safe projectile! - Cross Slash, not so much, it looks super cool though! - Finishing Touch is terrifying, it can comfortably kill someone at 60% on normal stages and is pretty hard to dodge. So all in all, probably my second favourite DLC character to play as, after Lucas. Can't wait for Baonetta though! February can't come soon enough!

If you log in and go to your profile, there's a list of all the friends on your friend list that own Mario Maker. That might help.

You underestimate me, I've already done all that. I'm just saying that the tags available don't really fit most of my levels. I ended up just using Theme for most of them. Except for a few... um... exceptions.
-
I honestly think you should sue. It's a pretty nifty idea! Most of the tags don't fit the majority of my levels though... My levels seem to range from Normal to Easy, with only 4 expert ones that all show up on my more recent levels. Seems like I hit the difficulty curve pretty nicely!

I was both dreading and anticipating this day... Naturally, it's in an absolutely horrid place... I gotta hope for those big wins... Don't have to want to spend money, but Groudon might just push me if the last day thing happens... EDIT: Scratch that... I caved... Used the two free plays to clear the path for Groudon block. Then went to the practice catcher, only managed to get 4 dummy badges, none had a big win, and it only brought my total to 9. So I finally spent 90p. And you know what? It was probably for the best, because IT TOOK ME ANOTHER 4 BLOODY ATTEMPTS TO GET THE DAMN GROUDON! I was never gonna get it with free plays alone, was I? Used the spare go to get a Charmeleon. I still want the Heliolisk and Charizard though... I hate this game. Who actually likes Heliolisk anyway!? If I like it, that means it's gotta be lame! Back me up on this @Serebii, you have awful taste in Pokemon.

Dazzybee, have you been dazzybeeing Fire Emblem Awakening?
-
Nope! I played it for the first time on the Wii Virtual Console and was absolutely floored at how good it was! Pick it up for the Wii VC or try and get the DS port (Which has some nice benefits, but also some slight questionable changes, not in gameplay, just in text and the dialogue of a certain character), you can't go wrong.
-
You mean that @Dcubed picking the "Bear Minimum Digs" just to annoy me might not even happen now!? Best update ever! (You know, out of 2 whole updates) Pretty much only got the Sword Master Suit and the Fierce Deity Set to get now, so the extra materials won't take me too far. But anything to stop him CRIPPLING THE DAMN TEAM JUST FOR FUNNIES!
-
Yes! That explains everything! I was utterly baffled as to why you disliked Bayonetta. But hearing this has cheered me up no end! I'm very pleased you stuck through, because Bayonetta is a truly wonderful game with great humour, characters and stonkingly good gameplay. Looking forward to seeing what you think of 2. I personally enjoyed it even more.

This is true as well. So Paper Mario-ish battles with M&L-ish overworld. Oh, come on, this line doesn't make you smile?
