What, so just do what the 3DS did with the Mii maker, but then rename them? I don't know, that seems a bit... pointless. What would you even rename them? "Mii" is a very clever name, after all. And something like "Switchverse" doesn't quite roll off the tongue as nicely. Honestly, if there's anyone who actually claims the reason they wouldn't buy a Switch is "Because Mii's are on it", a rebrand isn't gonna change their mind. It's a really stupid reason to boot.

To be honest, not really. I just finished Paper Mario, and now the only game I got on my WiiU to play that I haven't finished yet is Explorers of Sky, and I've almost done that. It's only when I run out of games, that I go play something more minor really. Maybe I just have good self-control. Maybe I'm just weird. (It's probably that)

So you just want them to pretend the Wii/WiiU never happened? I feel like as an approach, that's a total regression. Don't pretend that absolutely everything to do with the Wii era was a mistake, because it wasn't. The Virtual Console idea was made on the Wii. You want them to drop that? And as much as you disdain them, the Mii's are one of the things they got right. The simplistic art style works well for Ninty, and I personally love rocking my Mii in Mario Kart, I like his stupid dopey voice, and they've provided more than a few hilarious moments on the Mario Kart League. Or would you much prefer the eerily creepy Playstation Home versions? Or the not quite as memorable XBox Avatars? Dropping everything to do with the Wii is just killing progress. Sure it did things wrong, but it did things right as well. I get the impression your hatred for the Wii name is blinding you a bit.

Do you wanna tell me what the Mii's did to you? They're not going anywhere anytime soon. You're in the minority here. People like playing as their Mii's. Same with Miiverse. I love being able to easily keep records of little moments in games. My only hope is that they make Miiverse even bigger. Maybe allow short little clips of gameplay to be uploaded, there's quite a few moments where I thought, "If only I could upload this bit in movement"

Yeah, we made fantastic progress. Including Ugh First Aid's jump in HR of the exact same amount as you did. I chose Amatsu as a test run. It was a completely new monster for me, so I had to give it a try. Jaw dropped when Ugh First Aid and I got one-shotted by that vortex attack, it was dragging everyone to it and naturally being the competent hunter I am, completely panicked. Seems that sheathing your weapon, running like the dickens and diving at the last moment gets you through that. (Or sitting in the Ballista) Definitely want to try that when we have some more back-up in the form of N-Europe's Felyne mascot or our resident Link cosplayer who doesn't realise he never used a massive red axe.

I still don't buy this. Unless it's some kind of spin-off, it's not gonna happen.

Yep, that's what it looks like. The traditional D-Pad is the sole reason I'm considering getting a Switch Pro Controller, I never even got the WiiU one!

Yep, GAME are literally the worst. If it wasn't for the occasional Pokemon event, I'd never step foot in there.

I can't speak for Japan, but I see people play with tablets on public transport all the time. Portable is not the same as Pocketable.
