@Dcubed and I have been having a lot of fun using the Samus Returns 3DS Theme and opening the 3DS while we're on an incredibly inappropriate game/app. Having the over-the-top start game jingle play while this appears on the top screen is very funny. New Style Boutique was a funny one as well. Yes, we're very easily amused.

And here's your League Table First of all, a welcome back to @Clownferret, who decided to make quite the entrance and rocket to third place. Can he hold it? He'll have to put up a fight to deny the fragile average at this point. I discounted your points on the third GP, due to your disconnection. Hence the table saying you only played 2 GP's. Everyone's (Well, those who took part yesterday) averages went up! But despite that, only a few changes. @The Mole's lead grows smaller after yesterday. @S.C.G manages to move up in the table. Keep it up! I have an idea for next week's theme. But it'll take some time for it to come together. Keep an eye out, peeps! Kecleon Fanatic out!

The backpedaling on the whole "3 games only" is amazingly brazen! I thought we'd have to wait until DLC to see older characters. But it's a backpedal I happily welcome.

Archer is incredibly broken, but it gets horribly nerfed in Triple Deluxe's multiplayer mode and I'm kinda scared the same would happen here. So I'm going with the best forgotten Super Star ability.

I see your point, but here's a counter-point. The less informed would suddenly get very angry if Ninty got an exclusive with that game. I'd imagine a few people don't even know that Scalebound even got cancelled.

You underestimate the internet's outrage capability. People still think Bayo 2 had a chance for an all platform release until Ninty "stole" it.

About as amazing as the Bayo 2 meltdown. So much funny!

Well, when the alternative versions have practically no benefits, the smart money is on the one with portability. Very well deserved though, it's set the standard for old school modernisations for me.

I can't be the only one who thought "Did he really call the thread 'H-O-T Topic'? That aside, it's a very well thought out mini-article. There's some solid logic here. Of course, until Virtual Console does come out, there's no way to be certain it has an effect. However, while I feel the lack of VC has some kind of effect. I don't think it's quite as big as some might think. I think the biggest factor so far is the actual quality of non-Ninty games on eShop so far. It's been a hell of a lot better than some of the utter dreck that Wii, WiiU and 3DS got. Of course, early days, but Nintendo being quite selective with who they wanted to get games from has done wonders for the standard of the average eShop game. Also, put me down as one of those who enjoyed an eShop game more than Zelda, namely Wonder Boy, who anyone who actually wants VC should play.

Well, I like it, and in my experience, when there's a controversial game I like, chances are, it's not liked very much. (Metroid: Other M, Star Fox Zero, stuff like that)

Yeah, pretty much. Hoping for Ninty to ape the competition 8 times out of 10 gets you disappointed. Of course, my ideal way to implement an achievement system is to have a similar one to the competition but have it give you Platinum Points on My Nintendo instead.. Not to mention, have some decent rewards on My Nintendo from time to time. Even just allowing you to trade points for a bit of eShop credit would be one hell of an incentive for those Achievement junkies.
