Didn't realise Roy was that good at Home-Run Contest. Best Smash 4 Fire Emblem character gets even better.

The first game is Breath of The Wild, saw that one coming a mile off. Didn't think it'd be a Shield Surfing race though. Cool idea.

My heart is hoping for a Smash reveal or a Mother 3 one (Like EarthBound Beginnings last time) My head is expecting nothing gets revealed.

Bog Roll Battle While America is deciding what kind of Twilight fan is less heinous, us Europeans are having a far more important debate. Whether Toilet Roll should hang in front or behind! Seeing the grave importance of this, it's only natural that we should form some teams and settle things by flinging fluid all over the place. So I'm gonna mention the people who took part in last Splatfest along with people who've commented on this one. Oopsies! Got way too distracted playing SNES Mini last night. Might have ironically been playing some Super Mario Kart with @Dcubed. Thankfully, @BowserBasher took great initiative and saved my bacon, this is why he's second in command. I'd promote you but then I'd be out of a job. So, 10% pay rise, I guess. Seems like it went relatively smoothly. I've got the next theme ready, but I'll post it once I get the results from BowserBasher.

Cross StarFox off of my SNES Mini list. Booted it up to unlock the sequel and ended up playing until the credits. Only barely made it though. I know there's all sorts of other paths, but I can't be bothered. I don't like it very much. I'm 10 hours into FF6 now, just got the airship. Man, this game is great! Best battle music too.

You're right, the game has always been very easy. If you know what you're doing, you can completely destroy any notion of difficulty (Mush Badges are hilariously OP). It's going to be even more apparent after Dream Team and Paper Jam, which are very difficult compared to Superstar Saga. Reading some of those GAF quotes, it's really blatant who didn't play the other 3DS games. And I want to explain some of those things, seeing as I'm one of the very few people who actually played them. That's how it is in the 3DS games, probably due to how harsh DT and PJ can be for missing timings. 2 hit kills are completely normal there. But with the easy-peasy Superstar Saga, it's not balanced for that. That's Emergency Block. Basically a crutch for people who found the 3DS games too hard. Which is reasonable, they're balls hard! There were also some unblockable attacks which you had to use block for. Once again, Superstar Saga wasn't designed for that. Yup, Paper Jam did it, it's called Assist Mode and in that game, is completely optional!

Who are you playing as? The bloke can't equip daggers.

I know I said I'd play through FF 3/6 next, but I got a sudden hankering for Mario World. That was a 100% run, all 96 exits in one sitting. @Dcubed can back me up on that. Which would have made me the 132nd fastest player in the world. Kinda wish I didn't pause so much now...

You won't believe the flak I get from @Dcubed for saying the same thing. To this day, I barely notice any differences. (Well, except Waverace 64, that game is atrociously slow in 50Hz)

You're gonna have to explain that one... As for the hard reset, have you tried using a Wii Classic Controller? I've heard you can use the HOME button as a more convenient reset button.

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to Skyrim, so could someone clarify if that artwork on the above tweet has ever existed before or if it's been made specifically for this SNES boxart mock-up. Because if it has been made especially for the SNES mini launch, then that's really cool!

OK, that's enough time. I'm gonna assume @martinist will want to keep his attendance intact then. Here's the current League Table. @The Mole has been temporarily removed from the table for being absent 3 weeks in a row. OI! Don't give me that look! You all knew this would happen. Because of this, I've now moved up to 1st place, by default. And we know how great those kind of victories are. I'd welcome back @RedShell, but a lot of people already beat me to it. And he decided to repay that kindness by beating most people to the line, managing a 100% top 3 placing this week and storming into 2nd place, only 0.3 points behind me, not quite the grand entrance I had last year, but it's certainly impressive. Passive-aggressive? What's that? The curse of the fragile early average reared it's unpleasant head for @BowserBasher, who dropped down 4 places. Ouch! Still pretty early, so you can still climb back up. @S.C.G manages to triumph over @Dcubed this week and broke their creepy tie from last week. Dcubed wasn't actually present for the first GP, someone else stood in for him because he was running late, so only 2 of his GP's counted. And that's everything of note, here's the next theme. It comes courtesy of @BowserBasher. He's thought of a theme that would have been pretty much impossible on the WiiU version. Get ready for... Boy, I'm getting some mileage out of my face, huh? It's Formula Mii! Or "F Mii" for short! Why are you snickering? This theme might be somewhat familiar to people who did the league back on the Wii U. But as I'm sure you've noticed, there's a big difference this time. And it's important, so pay attention. Actually, you know what? THIS IS IMPORTANT! READ THIS CAREFULLY! The vehicle setup changes in between GP's! @BowserBasher wanted to explore F1's past, present and possible future, I think it's a cool idea, but it requires co-operation from you lot. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe allows people to change their vehicle in between races without leaving the lobby and this theme capitalises on that. So how do you switch vehicle? Note the bottom left. See the kart icon? Pressing "Y" (Or the left face button) will let you change your kart setup. In between each GP. I'll allow around 5 minutes for kart setup before I tell BowserBasher to start the GP. Only the body and wheels change, so it shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully... Keep the Mii's to your own personal ones, and you're more than welcome to change outfit in between races if you have access to amiibo. Sign up now!
