Dragon Quest VIII is one of the best RPGs ever made. Just sayin'. Oh yeah, that was this year! Man, 3DS has been amazing! It goes to show that one of the two Switch games I'm actually looking forward to playing is technically available on the New 3DS.

On the other hand, I agree with a lot that @Ganepark32 said, especially when it comes to Mario and Zelda. Especially Zelda. Mario, is the least challenging 3D Mario to date. And the Banjo games outdo it in the less platforming intensive 3D platformer because the main collectibles actually feel like an accomplishment because they're not bloody everywhere. 2017 has been a pretty lame Ninty year for me. Thankfully, Indies and Capcom (!?) have salvaged it for me.

So I'm thinking Thursday 9:15pm might be a good weekly time to get some Splats in. 6 people or more would be fantastic, because then we can properly utilise Private Battles. 4 (Or 2) players would still allow us to do League Battles at least. Pretty much how I expected it to be really. The vocal disdain for this game before release is just people who find the idea of this outselling Mania somehow offensive. And it will, because DeviantArt. In reality, it's another pretty decent 3D Sonic game. It's so hilariously edgy and it seems like they're embracing that for laughs and I'm fine with that. I keep forgetting this is an option. Shows how much I actually use it, huh? It would require some planning though. It's almost impossible to find a time slot everyone would be happy with... If anyone wants to throw some times out there, we could see where that takes us.

Well, Cold King achieved and the last match certainly went out in style. Going forward for future N-E get togethers, there's only really two options. @RedShell's suggestion of just do more League Battles so even if 4 people can't make a team, 2 can still make a duo at least or we could have a poll on the site next month so everyone on N-E represents one side in Splatfest and getting at least one group should be cake. You know, that's how Democracy works. Obvious downside is that the losing side will just have to suck it up and rep the winning side. Of course, both is perfectly viable. What do you guys think?

Here are the results. And here's the results table. The table is starting to stabilise now that we're two months in to this mini league. Not much to say really, other than @Sméagol overtaking @Blade Oh, and @RedShell had absolutely no change in his average score. A week too late though. @BowserBasher was doing it before it was cool. We're halfway through the league now, so I want to take this opportunity to remind y'all that if your attendance is too low, your score won't count in the final results. Normally, this would be around the 50% mark, but due to the shortness of this mini League, I feel 33% would be more reasonable. So if your attendance is below 33% by the end of the year, your score won't count. Currently, only @Blade is below this threshold, but @Vileplume2000 and @Nicktendo should be made aware of this. There's still time for a newcomer to come in and still qualify to be in the final table if they attend enough nights. So if you're on the fence about joining, do it now. Despite that, I'm still enjoying this, even if there's no challenge to be had. Sure, everyone is having fun with the Photo Mode, but me? I like putting incredibly over-the-top music to completely undeserving situations. Makes things a lot funnier.
