Funny you went with the Mario World depiction of Bowser specifically. He, uh... Ain't looking so hot here.

Wow, this is legit hard for me to choose. I have, like, 5 different candidates for favourite villain, and all for completely different reasons. Gonna have to give some thought.

I have a spare Golden Gears DIY recipe to the first person to speak up. -
A reminder of the things to take note of when it comes to the scoring. CPU's have absolutely no bearing on the scores, so even if a CPU beats you, it doesn't matter. The scoring is treated as if it was a 6-player race. CPU's are purely used to bolster the numbers if there are 6 or fewer human players. These scores are before the usual League calculations take effect. (Total points divided by Number of Players multiplied by 12) These scores also don't take into account any Champion's Bonus that apply. (Bonus 10 points for beating Glen-i in a GP, 5 points if you beat RedShell, 15 if you happen to beat both) Right, with that out of the way... 3 way tie right at the start? Creepy. Bound to change next week, which brings me nicely to... Next League Night: 9th July 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @BowserBasher (Team Classic Leader) @viceview51 (Team BotW Leader) @Glen-i @S.C.G @martinist @Jayesse It's been a while since I've been able to do a Team Night, so allow me to refresh your memory on how this works. (And also for @Jayesse's benefit, seeing as this is his first Team Night) Everyone who isn't a Team Leader should send me a Private Message saying what team they want to be in. Your choice must remain secret. If one team has way more members than the other, I will ask the leaders to choose who gets moved to the other side. Your points are still mainly determined by your placing, so you still want to come in 1st. The team that has the highest total score on each GP will get an extra 10 points. The Champion's Bonus does not apply to Team Nights. And before you ask, I've already informed both BowserBasher and viceview51 of which team I have chosen, so no-one can accuse me of shenanigans outside of Mario Kart. Sign up Now!

I'm so glad someone mentioned a Mario Party, beause nothing makes you hate your friends quite like Mario Party. Although, Mario Party 3 is the best N64 entry, and that's that.

Sunday afternoon is the only time I can do before I'm gone until Thursday. So next Friday or Saturday night would work best for me.
-
No, Monday is even worse for me.
-
Unless you're willing to do that Sunday afternoon, I wouldn't be able to take part.
-
You and me both! It was too much for me to take. I needed a moment to compose myself! Did you not use the "Send as Gift" option? Cuts out the second step.

Hard to disagree there!

I wish I thought of "Now it's Line Time" EDIT: Man, Mechanical Rhythm is such good Tetris music. Shame I'm so rubbish at Tetris 99, I almost never get to hear it. I can't imagine how hype the last 10 music (You Will Know Our Names) will feel.

You're right, she's very technical. It takes some getting used to, using B for normal attacks as well as A. This is compunded even more by the fact that she can swap the Left arm between 3 different modes that make her harder to predict. And you need to be hard to predict, because if you flub an attack, there is SO much endlag, even more if it's blocked. You can't bend the angle for the neutral attacks, instead you can move around and jump, (Kinda like Mega Man). Min Min can change the angle of her Smash attacks though. The amount she can bend her ARMS depends on the actual ARM she's using. Ram ram can bend a lot, the Megawatt can't bend that much. You probably noticed, but Min Min can attack in two directions at once. This is great for Free-for-alls, and amazing if you have a Back Shield! She definitely feels unique in Smash, and she's a lot of fun, although I'll never be amazing with her, I'm much better with characters that like to get right in your face. The stage is tops though, I love the jump platforms and it's oh-so-satisfying to KO someone by jumping into them. Not so keen on the music, however. Not a fan of the ARMS soundtrack in general. But the Smash remix of the main theme takes a song I thought was pretty meh and makes it really good. I always thought it needed more instrumentation and I was right. A great start to the second pass in my opinion.

Believe me, I already am. Played enough Paper Mario to know that Badges are king. -

I also picked it up recently. Just finished the first chapter. It's looking solid so far, writing is hilarious. I do have some misgivings... I must say, Hard mode feels counterproductive. Nothing wrong with difficulty options, but the fact that it nets you double EXP and special rewards for beating bosses with it on makes me never want to take it off out of fear of falling behind. I never think it's a good idea to lock stuff that makes the game easier behind playing it on a harder difficulty. Cool cosmetics or secret endings? Sure. But you shouldn't be made more powerful by playing a harder difficulty, it kinda misses the point of difficulty options. Also, Kabbu's horn attack on the overworld has way too much startup lag and I can never hit anything with it and the stat boosts you get from leveling up are really stingy. A total of 3 HP/TP each level up? Feels mean after Paper Mario's traditional 5 HP/FP boost. It's even weirder seeing as the MP boost is the same as Paper Mario's BP. Let's hope the game's balanced around that... -

Is the Boomerang a piece of furniture or something you actually carry? Because if it's something you carry, I want it. -
Update is out.

Sorry for the slightly early closure, but I got plenty of content to use in a vid! Yeah, Min Min is an awkward character to say the least, a lot to take in with her. Stage is proper bonkers though! Thanks for the matches!

ARGH! I can't make a punny title because it keeps getting censored! OK, room's open now. Password is 4444.

Wow, that sure was a lot of Lightning! EDIT: Highlights!

Opening section of a game Nothing sticks in my mind quite like the opening of Final Fantasy VI. I'd explain it, but I wouldn't be able to do it justice. When I first played this game, I had already played the 5 Final Fantasy games that preceeded it. So I kinda got into the idea of what kind of tone to expect. Boy, was I wrong! Seeing the title of the game just appear with no music accompanying it immediately gave me the impression that something was different, and then that slowly building ominous organ sound until those sudden two notes. Spectacular! And then, seeing an opening credit sequence with that amazing song (Terra's Theme) and that beautiful mode 7 scene really cemented that the sixth Final Fantasy was gonna be something quite different. It gives me goosebumps every time.

OK, guys. Min Min N-E Smash tonight at 9pm. Like all new character nights, it will be Time format, and as usual, I'll be recording every match not on a custom stage so I can make a highlight reel later. First things first, You don't need to have the second fighters pass to join in. I understand that some people are waiting until they know more of any future characters before deciding on purchasing it and you shouldn't be left out just because you're being cautious. Just don't complain about all the Min Min and Spring Stadium that will pop up. To help differentiate yourself in the highlight video, it'd be great if everyone chose a different colour Min Min to play as for the night. If you don't know what they look like, you can visit the Smash site and click the Min Min render to see each one. Once you've decided, post here about which one you want to play as and it'll make it easier for me to say who is who. Default Min Min - @S.C.G Light Blue Hat, Purple Chest - @BowserBasher Red Hat, Red Chest - @Jonnas Black Hat, Black Chest (Yellow Waist) Blue Hat, Blue Chest - @Glen-i Red Hat, Yellow Chest Blue Hat, White Chest Black Hat, Black Chest (Black Waist) As you can tell, I want the all blue costume.

Hang on, when is it on?

Still haven't got them, I'm hoping this update will let me catch up on the ones I missed. Oh, and for the record. Ultimate's single player content is way better than Melee's. 72 unique Classic Modes (without DLC) and World of Light is far more appealing than the repetitiveness of Melee's Classic and Adventure Mode. Brawl's Subspace Emissary still remains the king of Single Player though. Ultimate really needs a Boss Rush mode, amazed they haven't done it yet.

30th of June, you were one day early there. Don't know the exact time though. EDIT: Apparently, the update is out now? Here's the list of all the balance changes. Buffs all around! Only a couple of nerfs. Shulk remains untouched. Big sigh of relief from me. Heads up @Dcubed Bayo got buffs! Well, apart from a small nerf to her Final Smash when it doesn't cause an instant KO.
