Online Mario Kart with Bowser not being useless like he is in DD.

If they don't mess Bowser up again and the online mode is any good then I may well get a DS and Mario Kart.

To be fair they did keep publishing interviews in print and showing stuff on TV from the oil companies saying there was no shortage what so ever. It was the fault of the fools and greedy folks that caused the panic buying. I'm feeling quite smug in that I didn't take part in all that, and as well not having to queue for hours, I'll be getting petrol cheaper than the folks that did panic buy it. Though I always feel quite smug. Nice post Haden, top Brass Eyeing there.

Edge is the only magazine I read every issue. I have the odd look at Metal Hammer and Kerrang! if and when my brother gets them, oh and Auto Express when my dad gets it. I'll sometimes flick through that Nuts and Zoo rubbish at work as a guy there buys them.

Threads with people going off on holiday often crop up, might it be an idea to just post in this one about our upcoming holidays? (I'm off to the USA on October 26th! ).

The UMD movies is one of my reasons for picking a US one, in that I can get films/TV shows before they come out here or just cheaper than they are here. Good call on the pixels, if I do get one I'll get one early on in the trip, and give it a good testing. On the subject of charging it up, how do you go about that if you get a US version?

Xbox Live has no real console competitor at the moment. Halo 2 is excellent (more so than Halo). Edit: The guns in Halo are better than in Halo 2? As far as I recall as soon as everyone had a pistol they didn't bother with anything else.

It wouldn't be "free" they'd just factor it into the price.

I've worked out one of the reasons these ripped off threads are less excellent than the originals, and it's that there are no smiley faces indicating if the thread is full of excellent or non-excellent stuff.

I'll still be getting an Xbox 360 as planned. Yet to decide what else I might get. Though I am tempted to buy a PSP when I'll be in the States a bit later this year.

I used to like them quite a lot a few years back. Saw them at Wembley Arena and they were very good. I still listen to them now but not as much.
