I thought I read wedding day at first. I was like WTF you can get married, how did I miss this? For those into this game; anyone else wish they hurry up with Fantasy Life and that Disney game that is like Animal Crossing?

They know everyone loves Smash and Zelda. I totally believe Nintendo will be arrogant enough just to have big trailers/demos of those two games.

Some good ones there, not considered the scaled-down Wii U, and while it's a good idea...Nintendo won't do it. It's inbuilt to quite a few games, and Nintendo doesn't work like that. Some sort of relaunch? That's definitely in the cards. 1) YEAR OF ZELDA. Zelda Wii U trailer and demo dungeon. Majora's Mask 3D for 3DS. Though, since everyone's been wanting it, they'll probably release it for Wii U E-shop just to annoy people like with the GBA games (you know THIS is now a possibility!) SHOCK OUT THERE PART: They announce a 52-episode official anime of Zelda. ^NOTE: On the above; if Nintendo wants to start appealing to kids, a couple of new Nintendo cartoons in the "for all ages but with mature humour" would be good. 2) New Mario game for 3DS starring...someone other than Mario/Luigi. Possibly the duo of Peach/Toad? 3) The most obvious will be...Donkey Kong Country 3 Returns. Just a trailer, though. 4) Pokemon Wii U. Battle Stadium/Maybe short XD like RPG? There'll be special packs with those little scannable toy Pokemon. This will make Nintendo Gazillionaires! Oh, and exclusive previews of a few New Pokemon PLEASE, which will drive sales of Wii U up off the scale! 5) Wii U Paper Mario traditional RPG (like 64/TTYD). Well this is more of a "I hope so", rather than what I actually believe will happen. ^Oh, and for Nintendo to announce the companies it has just bought/buying and give an inkling of the games they'll be making!

Oh yes, I see your point. Drybones versions of characters? Basically skeletons with their respective hats. Crap, that's a good idea for a new powerup for a 3D Mario game. Abilities anyone?

You've only listed coins being available for MK & MK8. Pretty sure they were in MK7, too. And maybe one of the others, too? Excellent list, though. Looking forward to it. Will get a LAN/Ethernet thingy to strengthen my connection.

I don't understand...WHY do I want this game? On the the one hand, LOL WTF is this; on the other, OOH, me want! I shall be buying this, just have to get my bro to buy it as well.

I actually started planning (in my head) a sequel to Zelda 2. 2D Like the other, with a huge map to lead to new areas forests, cave, desserts, castles etc.(including bonus secret ones). Level-up system for you/magic/weapons. Metroid style explore/get new abilities/pass new area system. Sword fighting mechanics being some sort of weird beat-emup style mechanics with many new techniques to learn.. Items including a special "Fairy in a Bottle" that you guides around he screen with the stylus to do special things (uses magic up).

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Mr_Master_X2 replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Aren't they set like directly after Wind Waker, though? With the same art style... I'd say yes they are, BUT...with the Wii U re-release, one should not give up hope of a direct sequel in the Wind Waker fashion on the Wii U. -
Well yes, I take no offence to the original Japanese version, and true I doubt it would have affected ratings, but you know what "people" are like. Gamefreak had to remove the slot machines from all future Pokemon games because of some crappy outcry from parents/government/whoever not wanting their kiddies exposed to gambling...despite it somehow being perfectly reasonable to have them exposed to it on adverts on TV essentially 24hrs a day.

It's plain obvious what the intent with those two changes were. One has alcohol and has been made into what looks like a glass of something non-alcoholic (seriously, look at the anime where in translation alcohol becomes milk or some crap...) The other picture is because it was two guys in bed together. Can you imagine the soccer mom outcries? LOL

When Haruka loses her clothes I always laugh."Ohh, so naughty!" Still only on Hanzo (too many games at once) and decided for the time being just to do every level A/Frantic with one character at the moment.

Enjoying it so far (Zone 3, went back to get better ranks). Have since realised there is Rank S and got pissed. One level I went so far passed what you need to get A Rank and well got A Rank...which begs the question WTF you need for S Rank!!

Not good enough for me yet. Call me when we get Caprica style VR.

I think, that after Pokemon/region have been introduced on the handheld version, they become "readily available" to the home console. Of course, as stated on another topic, a Wii U Pokemon game premiering a few new Pokemon first would sure sell units, and SHOULD be done RIGHT NOW, even if it's just a Stadium game. HOWEVER, it's become increasingly clear Nintendo doesn't have resources to manage two consoles, and it's a very real possibility that next gen's home console will be both the portable (main feature) that is able to send its signal to the TV (home console, reverse Wii U) and will be mega powerful. The Wii U is almost there, just done the wrong way around. Which, obviously means that gen's Pokemon game would be both portable AND home console. But saying that, a huge expansive home console Pokemon game with all the regions (and new ones), set as such huge massive world, that could be ever expanded, as quick as yearly (new region/Pokemon each year) would be excellent. As well as a main story, your avatar would be permanent (with all things that let you change appearance etc.), the story being basically what is now, about those you meet rather than yourself. Region you start in is choosable and determines your home base. Each time you get 8 badges you get to go to the Elite 4, which is ever-changing (which an E4 constantly being challenged WOULD BE) with all the E4 members ever and new ones. Your badge box would be able to fit every badge ever. Each time you do 8 badges/E4 the game would upgrade somehow, with things getting harder and harder. It'd obviously need some restructuring issues in regards to levels/stats/AI and such. Regions would be VERY Pokemon specific, with no dumping random huge amounts of Pokemon from other regions in places they have no reason being. If connected online, you can easily bump into others going on journeys. Throughout the game,as well as main stories, would be "Episodes" with each region being home to dozens of story episodes, with unique little stories (think of mini stories set in the world like the anime) that are optional. So basically RPG Optional Quests. Design wise, sort of something like slightly top down/third person type thing in HD.

Been saying it needs a Pokemon game for ages. Do you know what would truly make the Wii U fly off the shelfs? A Pokemon Stadium/Coliseum...with one or two NEW Pokemon from the upcoming gen. You know they'll have many designed/move sets already. Can you imagine the millions of Pokemon fans buying Wii Us just to get this game and a new mon? It'd be unreal. It's such a simple, easily doable idea, and would zoooooooooom sales right up, but NOBODY at nintendo has thought of this? <_< Heck, a direct patch to the 3DS from the Gamepad sync-up (to stop people just downlind patch off 3DS Eshop and receiving clones if they didn't buy the game) to use it on 3DS. Nintendo does need to attract casual's like it did with the Wii U, and every update from them they state they know they need to do that and what to do...and then DON'T DO IT. They know they need to get more games from other developers, more none-Nintendo exclusives, and even stated interest in buying other developers to help with the game...but then DON'T DO IT (or maybe they are, but they've left it really late. It should have happened a year before Wii U's release). They say they need to up virtual releases and such, and guess what? THEY DON'T DO IT. And then when they do do some of it, they put the wrong things on the wrong console, DS on Wii U. Don't they realise how horrid Wii games look upscaled, even DS games on 3DS look meh. What the hell do they think DS games on Wii U will look like? What happened to the promised N64/CUBE/GBA games? What happened to what looked like the start of a heap of translation projects for VC games that we never got, which we got a few of? There's still big chunks of good games missing from Snes/Nes library, too. They know they need to increase the flow of games...and they DON'T DO IT. Instead they delay games to pad things out further. They say they need to advertise more/better...and THEY DON'T DO IT. We hear from them over and over about what they need to do...but guess what? Yeah, you know the line. I'm a lifelong Nintendo fan but my confidence in them is almost lost. At this point Nintendo should just quit trying to gather attention from your typical hardcore/casual and try and instil actual confidence in core Nintendo fans, since a load of them can't fathom WTF Nintendo is up to. What do you call a company who knows what they need to do, knows for a long time and still doesn't do what they need to do? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure post E3 there will be a flood of games... then back to the trickle. Which would be acceptable if it had actual 3rd party support, but it doesn't. By the time sales pick up from Nintendo's TRUE AAA releases, 3rd parties will care even less. The 3DS is suffering too, because of Nintendo's shifted focus, which is to be expected, but the 3DS is Nintendo's ACTUAL SELLER with software selling potential. Remember when Nintendo used top ensure they released their very best effort on launch day? Which maximised sales, which attracted 3rd parties? They now refrain from releasing their best effort to give 3rd parties a chance, but that results in less console sales so less 3rd parties taking a chance. They listened to the "nobody buys our games because they want yours" crap, shot themselves in the foot and made things worse. A true Nintendo fan wants the TRUE AAA version (not the "filler" version) of one of Nintendo's 1st party IPs on launch day to maximise sales. I mean most buy multiple games on release, right? All they have to insure is one 1st party system seller on release date. Yes, other companies consoles have similar poor launch games, but Nintendo relies on core Nintendo fans to boost sales, to like I said attract 3rd parties to a big install base, so if they can't attract core fans then that's a problem. Yes, I'm a misery gut.

I just ordered a new SD Card as I plan on downloading it.

I don't know what they should have green-lighted, but what I think they should green-light now... SUPER MARIO U/UNIVERSES. This I would classify as the Wii U's main Mario game. It's unique feature is that each world transports Mario to a parallel Universe. One world has the style of 64, another like Galaxy, Paper Mario world etc. Alternatives would be a fusion of past game styles with a new one. Say, 8 big map worlds (like 3D World), the centre of each is a giant 64/Sunshine type of exploration stage with 8 stars to find, the level layout/enemies/obstacles changed around for each star. You know the type. At least 6-8 of the 3D World type micro stages. A Boss Castle stage. Multiple mini boss stages. Several bonus game stages etc. There WILL be a space world Galaxy physics, and the centre world will be some humongous planetoid the likes you've never seen. STAR FOX U. Like the N64 game. Loads of single flightpath/free roamer levels. Light/dark sides with different stories, Light with Fox and the team, Dark with Wolf and his team. Lylat Missions. Objective missions separate from the main story where you get quests from the General, lots and lots of them (think of them as Starfox's version of 3D World's micro-stages). Lylat Missions DLC pack at later date. Lylat Missions are used to unlock various things like new characters/costumes/stamps etc. Online/offline multiplayer story/missions/battles. METROID U (prime style) for Wii U, METROID 3DS (Metroidvania style) for 3DS. Like the above Star Fox, I think an optional mission set Bounty Hunter Missions would be good. Also, the 3DS/Wii U stories should maybe linked up. Nintendo needs to do an shooter game. Even if it's just Mii's in a 1st person setting with various combatised items/weapons from Nintendo games in various maps based on Nintendo games. Multiplayer online/offline a must. Nintendo items have many unique effects, and the chaos of having them in a 1st person arena shooter would be...unique.

About to fight blue quest, and decided to level up jobs beforehand. Player levels are all at max now (Conjurer Experience Up being no use whatsoever it came so late, I think everyone was at max...) Probably 3/4 of jobs done on everyone. Only realised halfway through todays's session that I could use Obliterate. Just assumed the enemies levels would be too high for it to be any use. So much wasted Turbo/Ethers. I only just realised Conjurer's summons aren't attack ones like I assumed (which is why I assumed Conjurer was crap and pointless). MASSIVE stat boosters.

I'm at chapter 7
