  1. New Metroid/Animal Crossing: Just Nintendo again giving players the IPs they want...in ways they don't actually want. Literally everything I've heard seems like quickly put together "spin-off" games of Nintendo's main IPs. It's like all the main games of each IP are just gone... The ones that used to be big, beautiful, polished beyond belief and that expand into new interesting territory while keeping the core game entries...are dead. Unless of course there's loads I've missed (no stream for me). I'm not happy. Wii U really is being deliberately killed isn't it? Such a huge percentage of games being what I described above rather than serious main entries. I wouldn't mind that if the 3DS was given more love, but they're not. Nintendo aren't even pushing 3rd party translations of japanese games like they have been. What are they doing? What's going on behind the scenes they aren't telling us...?
  2. Hmm. Big Gears fan, though not played the prequel, and online died during 2 for me(ISP issues). Clearly they were just on a stage about building up atmosphere, which is great and all...but is E3 really the place for that? People want action, overall view of what to expect. Seems an odd choice, though no doubt the bame will be great. Not that I have an XO...
  3. Such fun. How long before the ninja brigade and pirate horde DLC additions, though? Roman legion? Barbarian horde? Ye olde cavalry with one-shot crappy guns?
  4. Looks great, you can literally see/feel the love/passion put into the game.
  5. It made it seem like a sequel..then remake hit. I'm guessing they were talking about "meteor" and that it had come before in the past, though, so additions to story? Kind of hoping they learnt their lesson gameplay to story ratio with past FFs (especially considering the gameplay heavy FFXV). Please don't make it an interactive movie! And PLEASE, PLEASE be oodles of post-game story, considering all the post FF7 stuff we've had over the years, it is VERY likely.
  6. Looks great BUT...the twist of who/why the real enemy is so obvious it beggars disbelief. Can be worked out from the trailer alone. Hope there's "more" to it.
  7. I know gameplay wise it's nothing alike, but I got a vibe of Metal Arms.
  8. Due to having played this game upscaled on a big HD LCD TV, I would definitely like to play this with crisp clean picture rather shitsmear vision.
  9. I'm sure F-Zero is actually in the Starfox universe, though. I think in Command, one of the endings sees one of them become a super celebrity F-Zero racer. I could DEFINITELY see a Starfox character or two poping up as racers in a new F-Zero. Or...a huge F-Zero track popping up in a Starfox level, that is under attack by Andross, with you zooming/flying around some huge planet size track, taking out Andross baddies to save racers. As much as I'd like a new Starfox, I'd like a huge adventure game like Starfox Adventures, too. It desn't have to star them, but it could be set in the same universe. TV shows/movies are doing it, it's only a matter of time before games start getting their own universes with many series' in them, all with their different styles/flavours. A Pokemon game will be like adding kindling to Wii U's sales. But they don't do it. And people act shocked when they think Nintendo is deliberately letting Wii U fizzle out. Hey Serebii, is it true the creator of Pokemon is getting shot at E3? I assume Pokken will be there but...would he really just show up for that? I guess there'll be Super Mystery Dungeon, too. Am I expecting too much by expecting something totally unnanounced and amazing...? I always envisioned a 3rd person adventure with Metroid exploration type stuff (certain items to reach new areas/secrets etc.) with the main player being a human that becomes a Pokemon due to a mysterious stone, with other stones collectible to change to different Mon for abilities to new areas (like ice beam to freeze over a lake for an ice path etc.) Originally you start as an Eevee and get access to other Eevee forms (with the game introducing new Eevee forms) but I realize that may be boring, so may be best with more Pokemon types.
  10. OH AND... UK Final Fantasy Explorers New Crystal Chronicles Multiplayer Awww god...a full on FPS Zelda. Maybe make it a darker aduLt Link (not THAT dark) set in an apocalyptic timeline, aiming hookshot at enemies helmet to yank it off, then shooting at arrow straight through its skull, at which point all the doors in the room give way as the room is flooded with orcs, at which point you hookshot to a ceilng vantage point while dropping a barrage of bombs which nuke 2/3 of them, while you slink into the shadows to arrow snipe them one by one. SELL ME IT NOW. Well that official Nintendo account did accidentally leek they're working on Paper Mario, even if it was just "Paper Mario" title. You're right, it's a shoe-in for this year. Since no doubt all the ther games I'm looking forward to won't get UK releases any time soon (if at all) this will be my most looked forward to game of the year. Starfox is 100%, right? I have a feeling it will be episodc BUT will also hve a vast array of modes, probably episodic, too. I see main story game, versus multi, co-op multi, horde multi, base defense muti, DLC mission packs (mini stories with levels, likemini main modes) that can be tackled in multi. I think AC will be announced, but if it has no cross-connectivity with Happy Home it'll likely not be out for many months after it. I'd like to think it'll allow you to transfer the home designs for your townies (thus getting to design all town houses via HH), perhaps even HH being used to infuence WHO joins your town, so you can choose favorites. I'll probably still stick to random, though. PLATFORMER. MARIO. Just don't make it another New Mario 2 3DS. I'd like a Lego Nintendo World. Massive open world like Lego City Undercover, with different regions based on Nintendo series. Hidden blocks with collectible mushrooms, bombable cracks that lead to caves with chests with treasure (with the music too). Classic Ninty characters with all their classic moves and collectibles in a world that's so huge it's scary.
  11. No one is; it hasn't started yet! <_< That's the thing with Nintendo; E3 doesn't start until, well E3 starts. The others leak basically everything, while Nintendo waits until the day. They aren't aways "good" surprises, but you can always count on one. Admittedly, I too was waiting for more Zelda U. Wouldn't surprise me if they DID show a Zelda game, though. Something they could quicly knock out, like say...Four Swords U. I can only imagine thetension of a crowd hearing the Zelda tune/graphics, thinking "YES!! ZELDA U!!" then the crippling disappointment when it's Four Swords U. The only thing that frustrates me though, is I'm a handheld man myself. Only having access to the HD big TV that's for TV shows, with internet that is throttled and randomly cut off (despite having pricey fibre-optic) has basically destroyed modern home console gaming for me. I either have to stay up well late or get up super early for any time on it console wise. Oh right...the frustrating part is I'm 100% portable nearly nowadays because of that and I'm pretty sure Hyrule Warriors port is the "big one" for 3DS at E3. Not that there's anything wrong with it and I've holded off playing it, but it'll just feel like a cut down version. I was hoping for something...I don't know. I get 3DS is Nintendo's background console now new game wise, but I want more! Mario Galaxy 3DS? (NEW enhanced...not a port) Zelda, based on Zelda 2, with stats/action/battle system, special overworld exploration/archeology system. Oh, and Yokai Watch 1/2/3/Burst. Oh, and MH Story, X, and the cat thing. Oh, and Dragon Quest Monsters 1 and 2, DQ 7/8/X. Oh and The Legend of Legacy. Basically RPGs. Oh, and for them to be PHYSICAL COPIES, so after finising I can sell them on and afford other new games once in forever! Oh man, I borrowed this off a friend in comprehensive school! For the SNES. Good laugh, though my memory is fuzzy, I seem to remember some spit (or puke?) move.
  12. Why I want this game but realize it's futile. Supposed to have unlimited sky fibre and pay out the arse for it, but even netflix can stutter like crap, with random times of day disconnections and throttling, even at times when 90% of the UK is in bed so I should have basically NO competition. Repeatedly nagging sky usally gets it "magically fixed" despite nothing changing on either end (ie. they DELIBERATELY do it, but they can't tell you that and will only fix it if you actually notice and complain, which I'm sure most customers don't.) Cue the countdown until they mess up again. I hate you sky. EDIT: The messed up **** actually disconnected while trying to send this post. What ARE the odds...?
  13. As much as I'd like to see a great big HD Animal Crossing, the truth is it fits better on a handheld you can whip out any time you want. With just how much the 3DS version sold (veeeeeeeery well indeed), I believe it should be for BOTH Wii U/3DS and have crossplay, and dare I say crossbuy (or at least a 50% off if you own a version). If it was just TV play, I can honestly say I'd still buy it, but my playtime would be erratic due to extra hassle. Not sure what others think, but I've only really played New Leaf so.
  14. It's bloody hard at points this game. Wish I'd started the Dragon one first. ALWAYS pay attention to what enemies are on the level at the preview as well as what orbs appear...it's as, if not more important than what orbs appear. Making sure to almost bring 100% whatever they're weak to rather than just a mix of available orb attributes is essential. Didn't do this at first since the first world is trashable with basically anything. I can see myself end-gaming it, then giving up at frustration with post-game, then being tortured by my OCD for not "finishing it properly". I fear Nintendo may backfire with this game. They put the Mario in to appeal to casuals, to garner a following of Puzzle Dragon players, but then made frustratingly hard in places...to the point a casual would pack it in. And Nintendo fans are almost 100% likely to choose to start Mario first...then get put off.
  15. Oh and... A new 4 pack of streetpass games. That rumored Capcom vs Nintendo 2D fighter game. TLBW style graphical remake of OoA/OoS with planned third version added. Eshop exclusive with Wii U/3DS crossbuy. £9.99 each. Zelda Four Swords, again with TLBW graphical style...again with Wii U/3DS crossbuy and offline/online co-op. Donkey Kong Country Returns 3 (I'll eventually get round to the last one). Bomberman Universe. Onine/offline multiplayer for standard battle mode. (Classic overhead stuff). A rpg mode, multiplayer co-op, with zillions of different bombs, weapons/players that level up, collectible costumes/hats, long overhead levels, huge bosses. Has a Diablo/Borderlands style RAID for rare items from enemies/boss system. Plus puzzle bomb mode, with online sharable level editor. Puzzle Dragons Z Pokemon. You KNOW it's an eventuality. Pokemon Shadow U. Like the CUBE versions except longer with alterations to battle system to make it more jrpg type. The continuation of shadow Pokemon arc! A few preview Pokemon for the next gen (to amp sales toinsane levels). Possible alternate "shadow mega" fors for those that feature and have them. The usual tournament/multiplayer extras. Goemon U. Some of my favorite games. Cartoony style though, not that weird "real" type. Wario Dominion. Wario is intent not just to steal all the world's loot...but every other worlds too! Journey to Mario's world and collect classic coins, red coins, blue ones, yoshi coins...or visit Mario Kart and steal all those gold trophies! Stop by Animal Crosding and make off with the town jewels/gems! Go to hyrule and rob those rupees! A platform adventure with the goal of collecting EVERY loot imaginable while a myriad of Nintendo worlds/characters guest star! Classic Wario hidden treasure system! Tamo Yoshi. Collect many different fruits via streetpass (loooooooots of different fruit) or coins to feed your yoshi, pet it, play with it until it lays an egg. Steps will hatch it. Starts of baby and grows to big. Every colour of streetpass costume available (24?) Fruit will affect stats/personality/abilities. Many mini games to win such as racing, eating, hide 'n' seek etc. Plus other minigames where yoshi transforms into vehicles like the Island games, but many more available. Utimate goal is to get all gold trophies and collect all yoshis.
  16. Hmmm...like to see... Super Mario U(niverse) Galaxy/3D hybrid with "parallel universe" physics. Metroid X2. 3DS 2D and Wii U 3D. Stories synch up, plus a co-op Hunters online/offline hunting the galaxy's worst scum. Extra DLC Hunter packs to come. Pokemon Z. Region to east of Kalos, Kalos as post-game. ALL starter Megas. Some new Mon. Eshop Battle Frontier. Mon can transfer from Pokemon Bank(ORAS/XY/Z compatibe). Expnded Frontier bosses/challenges etc.Has PWT, too. Special trainer card to collect ALL badges from past gym leaders after defeating at PWT, then at a hidden base style mini gym mod. Nintendo/Squaresoft partnership to fast track all those DQ games that are likely NEVER coming to the west. Animal Crossing U. Expanded EVERYTHING. Online tower flat mode separate to your town included with your own big single room apartment. It's online only with the object being other player interaction on a massive scale, with zillions of tiny interactions/scenes to witness with your neighbours. Each town is assigned one of four seasonal islands, others you visit other towns for. Kid Icarus U. I'm sure the 3DS one was being ported years ago. The heck happened? Freemium Nintendo Land Challenge. 3DS. NES/SNES/GB etc. various bite size NEW levels/challenges from Nintendo games. Like a Mario level where you have to find as many hidden 1up block mussrooms as possible, or a Zelda digging game for hearts, Mario Kart where you have to run over all the goombas in a time limit etc. Lives/money represented by various Nintendo currencies.
  17. My stuff came today. My, my that is a big tracklist for the Super Mario 3D World soundtrack. Nice quality console pouches, too. Got dark blue and my bro light blue. Been using Black/White 2 pouches (that I now realze I didn't send when I sold my Black 2 copy...) but will probably switch to this.
  18. Put doing the rest of my codes for ages, but realizing the digital ones were gonna end I did the lot. Which was a LOT. I guess if I'd have done them earlier most of the points would have been removed by Nintendo's "points sell by date" by now. The amount of star points I've lost due to that and out of date codes is...quite a good few. Ended up with 9900 points total. I did check my list and I was clearly missing my Wii U console pack, and my New 3DS pack codes. No idea wat happened to them. I got two different coloured 3DS carry/cover things, art academy, super mario 3D world soundtrack. I've had a few prizes over the years VIP DS, that weird toy stand with mario characters on it, pokemon sticker set. It was badly implemented. The out of date codes and sell-by-date stars were shockingly bad management deliberately designed to rid people of stars so nobody had enough for the "good stuff" which they deliberately got low stock of, presumably thinking they didn't need as many because of their nefarious mismanagement I just listed, just to save money. Oh well, I got some free stuff, so thanks Nintendo. 800 points left. Guess I can afford something else if I find those missing star point cards. I actually would have liked that one. Oh well. I just wanted it done and dusted. But then again, 800 points, some missing console points, and likely points from games that still have them I'll be buying before September...I could end up with a nice little stash again. OH RIGHT...I have a code, no idea WHAT, but it said I couldn't enter two, so first come first served... 8MX1AGHTM39PJO0Z My MM worked. Only like two of my last lot ran out. Even Metal Gear Solid 3D one still worked. Surprised how old some codes were, didn't realise how long it was since I last coded up.
  19. I was saving all mine up. Guess most are useless then. Bloody Nintendo. Why they'd have BBE dates is beyond me. All that crap of actual redeemed points lasting a year too...forcing you to spend on crap or lose them, so when something decent comes you have zilch. Basically means if you aren't buying EVERY Nintendo title as they're released you have no chance of anything decent. At this point you think they'd just allow every code unless they've used that game one, it's just digital games Nintendo has profited on for decades; quit being so stingy.
  20. I'm a fan, but they're both a victim of annoying core elements that are maybe fun at first but then become a chore. Nintendo hit it right with LBW. God that was fun. Minish Cap was awesome. Portable ones can be really good. Still need to play and finish Zelda 1/SS. I think I'd like the next portable Zelda to be the third game in a trilogy of OOT/MM/???, using the graphics engine from MM, with a bit of the free roam of Wii U Zelda. Plus the hidden mini dungeon feature of LBW. Plus the complex side quest system of MM. A remake of the Oracle games with LBW engine, with it made back into the 3 games it was originally meant to be. Obviously expanded in certain areas. E-shop exclusive maybe, with crossbuy for 3DS and Wii U. You can buy separately, or buy all 3 with a discount.
  21. It'll be people trying to 100% it without a guide that feel that way. Just try 100% all secrets without a guide. The backwards/forwards on the train trying to figure them out will bore you/drive you insane. I'm guessing it's a hassle even when you know what to do due to repition, but not knowing causes the repition to go to insane lengths trying to finish them (unless you got lucky). I forget much of the game, but I believe THIS was my issue with it. I did enjoy the game, though.
  22. Didn't start as soon as I got it, but seem to be progressing nicely now, having just beat the 5 star Gore Magala quest on single player (will be saving all Gathering hall quests for when my bro gets into his copy). Sword and shield man, but also using hammer now. Problem I had with last game was getting bored using SnS all the time. (Still got final mission or two in single, and loads of high star multiplayer to go. Going to go back after this game with extra skill from playing this.) Going to play with a slashing, blunt, and long range for this game. Those weapon quests got me enjoying the various wapons, y'see. I don't like the Kinsect, though. It just feels...rubbish. The other new one that looks like the sword/axe/shield of some Arthurian knight is sweet. Much more story this time. The ability to do 10 well-done steaks at once...much welcomed. Item sets? Palico stuff is interesting. So many refinements that made choresome stuff from the last game so much better.
  23. Went on a videogame splurge last week and the final items came today, one being a brand new New 3DS XL Monster Hunter 4 Ultimade Edition. Looks cool...but forgot to buy a bigger MicrosSD card, so did today. Decided to just hold off on the transfer for a bit at least until it comes, so no play-play for me.
  24. Got the GAME Special Edition of this game. They do like their metal game boxes, right? Backlogs a whole load of "almost finished" and "finished main game but not all extras". It'll save.
