  1. Recently, in my local GAME store, I saw the first advertisment for the Wii, remember, this is in Spain, where everyone has been brainwashed by Sony, and people only buy games for graphics, and think that games like Paper Mario 2 are crap because it has 2D graphics, then compared it to Need For Speed Underground... Of course, we all know that PM 2 is the better game. On-topic again: The advertisment was rather small, but most adverts are small in this shop, and it was with the DS games, which are near the front, just next to the XBOX 360 games (which are at the front) and oposite the PSP games.
  2. I'll only preorder once I know the release date + the price, since I don't think I'll have enough money for when it launchs.
  3. Thats just terrible, its just like this in Spain, No-one knows how to treat animals with respect, and they just dump them on busy roads so they either die of starvation or get hit by a car.
  4. Halo 3 for Xbox 360 + Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros Brawl in march = Ultimate pwnage for Sony in Europe. Sony just keep shooting themselfs in the foot... *bam-bam-bam-bam-bam-BAM!* Just like that.
  5. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.... As always.
  6. What makes me wonder alot about the Wii version of TP, is how the horse (not saying Epona, since the horse isn't Epona) will be controlled, if it'll be controlled with only the nun-chuck controller or if it'll be controlled somehow with the Wiimote.
  7. A strange thing about the Canon DM-MV900, is that on the Canon website, it says it hasn't got a USB socket, nor a USB cable, nor a firewire socket or cable... how would I be able to transfere video to my PC if it hasn't got USB or Firewire?
  8. I don't really mind about photos, since I've already got a digital camera, what I need is advice on videocams.
  9. I'll post some info to the videocams... Note: Translated badly from Spanish.
  10. I'm considering buying a videocamera, which works with SD cards, but in the same shop, they sell another camcorder for the same price that uses Mini-DV tapes. Can someone advice me which one to get and the different advantages on each format?
  11. Besides the grass in the first screenie, it looks awful... Looks worse than the Xbox version, and the Xbox isn't as powerful as the Wii!
  12. If Partition Magic isn't working, it appears you may have a big problem on your hands.
  13. The European charts amaze me, because they actually have games like Shadow the hedgehog and Simpsons: Hit & Run high up in the charts, nor forgetting the 46th duplicate football game made by EA thats the same as the previous one besides one new footballer and 2 new textures, perhaps, and of course, that steaming horse shit known as Sonic Heroes.
  14. Meh, I'm not exactly the luckiest bloke when it comes to love... and thats an understanment.
  15. I somewhat liked the movie, even thoughn it isn't 100% faithful to the game, aas I previously said, its someone else's point of view on the mushroom kingdom, a dark, dirty and disgusting city ruled by a power hungry dictator, plus, I quite liked the goombas in the film, even though they bare little resemblence to the game, it gives the Super Mario Bros universe a more realistic and gritty look, instead of the cartooney and colourful world everyone was expecting it to be.
  16. God, that PS3 looks fugly, especially in those latest photos shown in the link posted by leosalvia, they try to make it look like teh sex, but fail miserably... it looks like a ten dollar whore compared to the Wii, which looks like a supermodel. Edit: Whats even worse about it is it's weight... I've read that it weighs 5 f***ing kilos! The Ps3 must be the heaviest console ever made... theres no doubt about it.
  17. New tidbits of TP info from Game Informer: GI: Could you outline how the localization process works? Are you involved during all stages of development, or do you come in more towards the end for translation and tweaking the cultural references? Trinen: Our involvement in the process really varies quite a bit, depending on which team we're working with. When it comes to Twilight Princess, we have a fantastic relationship with Eiji Aonuma and his team, and we workd very closely with them. Nate and I helped put together all of the trailers we've released so far, and we've been in close communication with them on a number of differen levels since before the game was first unveiled at E3 two years ago. GI: Could you describe any examples of when this process went differently than normal? Trinen: To be honest I don't know that we have anything that could really qualify as normal anymore. With Twilight Princess, the depth of the story and its connection to past games means that not only does it have twice as much text as Wind Waker, but it includes a fair number of legacy terms that originate in past games, so consistency is a big focus there. We've also been given the oppurtunity to provide a lot of input on everything from play control to difficulty to character design, so over time our role has grown from simply localizing the Zelda games to almost being a branch of the development team itself. GI: What are some names, situations, jokes, pop culture references that are commonly changed between North American and other territory's releases? Trinen: There isn't anything that as a rule gets changed when coming to North America. We look at everything within the context of the game and the target audience. The ESRB has, in a sense, made those decisions easier, because we're able to look at content within the context of what we expect the game's raing to be. With Twilight Princess, we expect the game to get a T rating because of the more realistic graphics, so because of that you may see scenes and situations in that game that wouldn't have fit in a game like the Wind Waker.
