  1. Added to sig (with uttery retarded possibly deliberate spelling error corrected)
  2. Well I have failed my test twice, just because I can't reverse around a corner.
  3. You probably don't want a rev A Intel Mac though. You're best waiting until they've ironed out all the problems. And you've got to remember that in the world of technology there's always something new around the corner, so if you want a Mac now, just go ahead and buy one.
  4. Safari 2.0.2...this has happened at least 4 times now, and only happens when I have R-E open. It just closes for no apparent reason. Any ideas as to why?
  5. I found it funny how the people on there formed their own 'community', and clearly thought that the comments were in fact the forums. Retards.
  6. If you ever need any more moderators, you know where to look
  7. Can I just say good choice with computing, I did it for A Level and really enjoyed it (despite, shall we say, 'teacher problems'), it's an excellent course. If you already know a fair bit about computers/programming you should breeze through it too!
  8. Don't be so lazy, it only takes one click and you can see the comments. Or don't bother with the main site at all and just go straight to the news section of the forums to see the news. It's not like it's the end of the world or anything, is it?
  9. I didn't understand a word of that but I'm sure you made a very good point.
  10. Am I the only one with a sense of humour?
  11. From your choices, I would go for Maths, Physics, Computing, then something else. They're very science based, perhaps choose something contrasting like English Lit or History? Oh and I may be biased (being a geography student and everything), but Geography is a very good course.
  12. Sounds like a right laugh.
  13. Probably. Seriously, though, don't take doss subjects like media or drama or such like.
  14. This man speaks the truth. But the Simpsons still wins overall.
  15. Congratulations, you've just wasted everybody's time.
  16. I joined C-E in like 2002 or something. This is just a new name, laddy.
  17. Why can't I be a mod?
  18. You're wasting your time with a computer game course. Just do a computer science, it's much more respected by employers and leaves you more options when you graduate. You'll need a Maths A Level to do that. For your other choices, just choose subjects you enjoy and you're good at, although unis may prefer you to have a bit of a bias towards science-based subjects. For the love of god, avoid crap subjects like 'Media Studies', the universities will just laugh at you. Then just get the best grades you can and go for it!
  19. The Simpsons wins. Crap poll. Lock.
  20. I actually didn't even know this was back on. I probably won't be watching it because the line up is even shitter than usual this time, and to be honest I think the format is getting a bit tired. There's only so many times you can watch someone eat a kangaroo testicle. Still, David Dickinson to win! He's an absolute legend! (or am I not supposed to say that word because it will upset Roadkill?) Oh and lay off Ant and Dec. They may not be 'comedy genius' but they're decent enough presenters.
  21. The simpsons has been utter shite for the past few years. I don't go out of my way to watch the new episodes anymore. I think seasons 2-5 were the best.
  22. Not confirmed, just a wild rumour on the Gamesradar forums, stemming from reports that Future has acquired the official Nintendo license. Whether they will continue to publish both NOM and NGC, or merge them into one is unknown.
  23. I used it once, on the old C-E, to get some old magazines. It worked OK, but to be honest I don't really look there anymore.
  24. Yes, because Linux is really easy to set up and use, isn't it? Fair enough, it could be an option if the OP knows a fair bit about computers and doesn't mind the hassle, but the thing I love about Macs is the fact that you can just switch them on and go. No pissing about choosing a distro, downloading and installing it, creating hard disk partitions, having to trawl the internet for support documentation etc.
  25. 1. Absolutely 2. Yes 3. More stable (my iBook has never crashed. Ever. OS X is much more intuitive and user friendly than Windows. Better integration with your iPod if you have one. iLife is awesome. No more spyware or viruses. Macs are unbelievably cool. Excellent build quality. Everything just works. Basically, buy a mac!
